I didn't technically play the game, but I was part of a party of people watching/playing it. I truly think that watching it was more enjoyable than playing it, because the game seemed like it would be awful to play. Cons: The story makes no sense whatsoever It uses the same jumpscare 10 or so times with very little other scares Most of the characters are unbearable There are some weird continuity errors, that seem to forget and randomly remember what has previously happened The graphics are very strikingly uncanny valley The game controls awkwardly and very tanky Even after beating the game, still left with many questions Pros: Will poulter :) This game ****

So, there's a lot I really like, but there might be just a tad more that I dislike. Idk if I were to give it a rating probably like a 6. Overall it's fun, but it's mechanics get a bit boring after a little and the story and graphics are worse than games from 15 years ago. The story doesn't get interesting until you're in like the last arc of the game. I love what they did with the game and, if they were to expand upon it in sequels, the legends subseries will certainly be my preferred way to play Pokemon. But as it stands idk..

Do I recommend this game? yes. Do I recommend this game at full price at launch? Not quite. This game is wonderful. gameplay is fun, characters are interesting, plot is interesting (for what i've seen so far), and world is nice and open. Those alone should be enough to make a game worth it, right? Normally, yes, but in this game's case, not quite. There is quite a bit weighing it down at launch. There are countless bugs in this game. The majority of which being either graphical or auditory. There are a couple that i've heard of that are quest/dialogue base that can be game breaking. This was an issue with The withcher 3 also (CD Project Red's last game), and most of, if not all of, the bugs were eventually patched out. I assume the same will happen with this game. Bugs aren't my only issue with this game, though. I am also having a little bit of trouble justifying the seeming lack of side content in this game. From what i've experienced in my (so far only) 16 hours of gameplay, there are very little side quests, and an even smaller amount of character interactions. For side quests, or "gigs" as the game calls them, most of the time you just wait until a quest giver, or "fixer", calls you and gives you one. These are usually rescue missions, or "go kill x" missions, which is fine. The other type of side quest (which name is escaping me) are a little longer but still not super content filled. I have one that is to go fight in some fist fights around night city, and another which is to go find some cars that were blacked out of their grid with their company, and are lost. That's about the extent of side quests I've experienced so far. Character interactions are even worse. There is VERY little talking outside of quests. You can "talk" to pedestrians, but this is just them saying one line as they continue walking. You don't get dialogue options with them. I was hoping for something a little more RDR2 like, but whatever. Apart from that, you can also talk minimally to shopkeeps. You can't really even talk to your friends outside of quests. Night city, while huge, has a surprisingly low amount of interesting places or objects. To paraphrase a review I read about the world, "You will see the same line of books, or the same whiteboard with the same notes on it in many buildings across the city." This breaks the immersion, which is a big no no in gaming. Sure, reusing assets is fine, but not to this extent. While I haven't done too much exploring myself, one of my friends who spent hours exploring has found just about nothing interesting to see. No secret places or items. No "secret" interesting characters or anything. Nothing, leaving one with no reason to explore, other than hopefully getting a gig to do. There is also a whole mechanic I haven't touched at all, because I don't see the need to. Crafting seems practically useless in this game, and the closest I get to doing that is dismantling stuff when I become over encumbered. This gives you materials to craft with, which I just haven't done. I can't quite pin down why, but I just can't get SUPER invested into this game like I expected I would. I play for a few hours, and then get bored of the samey gameplay. The fact that the gameplay is fun doesn't stop it from feeling samey after a while. And with a lack of character interaction and meaningful sidequests, this is hard to keep me interested in playing the game for long streaks of time. This has been a fairly negative review so far, so let me highlight some of the things I do really like about this game. First off, I'm a huge **** for western RPGs. Bethesda games, CD Project games, etc all scratch an itch I get for gaming. I nearly hate level based games anymore. While I railed on Night city in the last paragraph, I do still love it. It's beautiful. I am also a **** for cyberpunk worldbuilding though, so I may be a little biased. Another bias I have is the tech aspect you get within a cyberpunk world. V (the player character) is equipped with an ocular scanner which can also hack into people and objects to do different things. When You do talk to characters, They are all interesting and individuals (other than the pedestrians). You get the sense that they all have their own desires and goals. They feel like people! The main characters of V and are very interesting and cool. The story, for what I've gotten to so far, is very interesting and engaging. I am not going to go too much more into it, though. Those are all the thoughts I can come up with for cyberpunk 2077 so far. The game is fun, interesting, beautiful, but ridden with problems. Will some, if not all, of the problems be fixed with patches and possible DLC? yes. Does that make the game feel worth full price right now? Not quite.

Purple Lamp took one of my, and many others', favorite childhood games, and polished it to a wonderful degree. The levels look beautiful, the remade music sounds wonderful, and, while they did change a little bit of the physics (such as the spongeball now being super tight rather than it's old floatyness), the game still feels just about like it did 15 years ago. I had my hopes up a little high (because I thought PL said that ALL cut content from the original will be here), but the disappointment that i received was nowhere near large enough to ruin what this game is for me. I also haven't tried the multiplayer yet, and I'm not sure if i ever will. Regardless, though, this game will forever be a childhood classic for anyone who grew up in the 2000's, and now kids who grow up in the 2020's.

This is a surprisingly good mario kart rip off, especially for how short after mario kart came out this did. The AI is really difficult for a kid's racing game also. I remember this game fondly from my childhood, and it still holds up.

I'm not going to lie and say that half life: alyx is a perfect game. I'm not even going to say it is a perfect VR game, but damn does it get close (especially with the technology we have at our disposal currently). While most things are extremely intuitive, the game does miss out on some stuff I wish was there, such as the ability to hurt enemies with the garbage you find lying on the ground. As far as I can tell, all the garbage does is stagger them. But for every small insignificant gripe I can give it, there are 10 pros I can give it. The game has the usual valve music we've come to love, the wonderful world building and story crafting of half life (and all story based valve games for that matter), and fun and addicting gameplay. It is a far cry from any other game on the market currently. The only vr game that can come anywhere close is boneworks, and that's still not a super amazing game like alyx is. This game definetly deserves a 10/10

Whilst yes, multiplayer is very heavily lacking, that's no reason for the horrible reviews most people are giving it. As a game, let alone an animal crossing game, it is absolutely wonderful full of life and care. As a singleplayer experience, it is absolutely wonderful. I don't honestly understand why people are treating it so poorly for it's same screen multiplayer. While I can admit it's very strange, and not well done, people are treating it as if it is something that has been in every game and was ruined in this game. This is the first time that same screen multiplayer has ever been implemented, so it works alright for what it is. The only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 in my opinion, is the fact that others who live on the island other than the first person to move in, can not place things around the island, only in their own home. This takes away a lot of what this game advertises, and leaves the game essentially New Leaf + crafting. The game is wonderful, and anyone who needs a life sim or something to help them relax from their stressful life should buy this game.

In the hour or so that i've played this game so far, i've come to love it more than most games i've ever played. It is literally just space fallout, and takes what obsidian has worked on in the past and enhances it. Lovable characters and dialogue with a beautiful world makes immersion insanely easy. I have yet to come across a factor in the game that I do not yet love. I can tell that this game is going to be high up on my favorite games list for the rest of time. This game should be an indicator to bethesda on how to actually make a fallout game. This will probably take the cake on my game of the year award nomination.
