Arcade Mode, Simulation Mode, Online Mode. Pretty much all the same with 3 different names. As expected you get 3 Minutes to bump into others cars. Quite fun at first - but gets stale within the first 30min. Of course, there is no Damage Model ( go play Wreckfest ! ) or other gamemodes. For a short burst of fun game ok, barely worth the 5.99 (on sale)

Game of the Year and racing at the peak. Only the Damage model has still air for improvement ( Hardcore Wreckfest player here..) but otherwise your in for a ride.

Didn`t like it at first glance - as it felt confusing, with high learning curve - and my biggest mistake was I bought in on Switch. Giving it a second change on Xbox via Gamepass - and I have to admit I was wrong about this game, it rocks, hooked me in like only Dead Cells could before with "Roguelike" Games. It plays so much better on a Xbox (Series X) due the Controller, stable framerate, 4K where you can really see the immense detail of the graphics, smooth controls and even more smooth Action. Personally I prefer CURSE OF THE DEAD GODS to the overhyped Hades.

Love the cars, Colors, handling of the cars - but -something feels missing. We all remember and appreciate Sega`s design of the Characters and especially their Crazy map with up and downs, jumps and action, and that in mind makes TAXI CHAOS a little bit disappointing. The main problem is the boring City Map, nothing really stands out, no real eyecandys or wow-sightseeing spots, just another 08/15 City map like we see everyday driving to work. The Day One Patch added some life and passengers to the before slightly lonely streets, over 10 new rocksongs. I also tried the Switch Version (lots of pop up ) and Im glad to see its plays and looks a lot better on Xbox (Series X) . In total - Good fun for a quick game 15-30min, gets boring quick. I really wish they would add at least 1 or 2 more maps. Just one City is not enough for a 30$ game.

It looks soo good, funny stage & car names, cool music. Lots of cars. However you probably will never drive them as the controls lag, oversensitive. The cars handling can be best explained as "its like steering a drunk sailor on a boat." You can swap to buttons only (like a Android/apple game ) or use the stick for steering. One brake button and one for drift. I kept playing the game for hours still hoping I get used to the oversensitive handling or at least a better car later ----nope. What a waste, the game looks great and interesting, but is pretty much unplayable with the controls now.

Updated - Now with 1.06 the missing inverted control option was added, the framedrop between the levels (when saving) are almost gone too. Took over 3 weeks after release until the game was really playable, another reason that I m definitly will never preorder any game anymore - until its patched and really playable. Happens too often these days.

Reasonable priced, lots of content ( and even 4 new tracks and gamemodus (Tournament Mode as of 2020-05) been added to the base game for free over the last month ) the long loading times are pretty much fixed as well. Single player, Onlineplay or just a quick Destruction Derby game ? Wreckfest looks great, plays great, its pretty much the most fun you will get for 30$ (or less on sale) a long time in racing game on your PS4/XBOX. Personally Im Still playing the hell out since its Release in Aug.2019 - An easy 10/10 !

A wooping +2 points score because it doesnt need too much space on your sdcard (290MB) and was on 30% off sale for 6.99$ at day of release. So much for the good parts of the game. The Negativ side - its almost unplayable trash with the feel of PlayStation1/N64 graphics, really awful control ( more like steering a bus on ice ) as you will crash into almost every turn or corner. The courses are pretty much all the same 0-courses. The cars handle are same terrible just in blue, red or green. Dont waste you money.

Fresh characters and design during first 1-2 hours playing, but it gets boring fast and changes to bullethell style suddenly. The main flaws are 1) difficulty rising too fast and some, like the high speed stalking enemies are just annoying. 2) you can get a lot of guns in the game, but they all miss the "powerful and fun to play feel" . 3) The enemy design feels fresh at start ... But be aware thats it - you seen it all already at the start, no new ideas coming later. tiny Cubes, big cubes, TV's that look like cubes nd more cube-robots all the **** you havent thrown your Switch to the wall already since you just died another unfair highspeed cube-enemy.

Its a pity this game was released in this halfdone state, bugs, clipping everwhere, there is an options menu, however its missing important selections ( swap x/y inverted look ). Once you start the game you get thrown into one (any) map, missing to choose the map. Those Goldbars/Diamonds in game currency points to pay-to-win mobile gaming style, and indeed its very, very hard to unlock new weapons. In this state its hard to recommend this game, with a couple of fixes, patches maybe ...

Animation, Artstyle, Leveldesign, unique weapons ( Zelda with a Drone or a Record as weapon.. ) makes the game quite fun. However is far from perfect, first I hate "timelimits", a can bear with grinding for money, upgrades etc. but once you get the hang of your new weapons, explored a small or half of the map the timelimit forces you to get ready for the endboss battle (again). Also there is lots of backtracking ( bring item A to Location B .. get 25 or more batteries and go back all the way to the town to buy a new weapon... ) that most times doesnt even make much sense as you get another "Sticker " which you also need to bring back to another location ( stickershop in the maintown) to get an upgrade. Double-backtracking within a time-limited story is kind of overkill. For example "Dead Cells" solves the upgrading/grinding without much backtracking. Or at least clear waypoints on the map and more fasttravel spots would already be helpful here within Swords of Ditto. One more problem of the game ( for Switch ) is the far too long loading times, not only on game start, but each time you enter a new location, map, room : saving, loading, 5 or more seconds black screen. I hope it still gets some patches in the future (especially the slow loading times ) and I would be glad to rate the game much higher.

A solid port of Sega's 1987 Arcade Hit ( and first of the Shinobi Series. ) There are however two flaws - due licensing issues, the Marylin Monroe posters ( Stage 1-2) are gone and replaced with ... Nothing, just an empty wall, boring bricks. And Spiderman ( also Stage 1-2 ) appears to have his laundry day and will attack in his spare green spandex.

At the beginning it feels like replaying FarCry5 ... in 3d person with Zombies. It looks great, plays well. Just a few design flaws ( realism vs fun gameplay ) weights it down. Refilling gas, reparing the bike etc might be realistic, however it feels like a heavy load kind of making it less fun exploring the open world in the game. I just wish it would be more like FC5 or even AC Odyssey with more variety in missions, and more open world than always having to worry to break and refill your ride and guns.

I really wanted to like this game, it looked great in its trailers and previews in the last month. However it plays and looks just ok. The animations of Madelyn really need a few frames more, SNES SGnG had by far more smooth animations. The stage design and enemy character design also is lacking the final touch, as I dont feel like replaying the game or remember any of the stages or enemy characters to be outstanding or worthy to be in the same or even near level as Capcom`s Classic. The game is quite easy - but the enemy bullets effects & collecting bonus coins effects makes the game quite distracting ( almost overkill) to play. A bit less effects but more work on animations would be more in this case.

Looks great and shines at first, unfortunatly its has its downsides like get lost in the gamemenues, or spending more time to find a match for your race then racing ( mostliy takes just 1 min ... ) than back to the start. Loadingtimes are also quite a killer. The game looks nice like a blend of Wipeout / or the very first Burnout ( due the traffic on the road ) however its start to get boring fast too wait for a match (online required) as the stages dont really differ that much... If you like "grinding" and replaying the same old for an upgrade or two you might find it interresting.

The review is for the PS Vita Version. First of all, I really love the game, played it on Android before, however the PlayStation Store Version is an aweful lazy port of the game. - The menues are same as on Android, but with left stick and the buttons you have to choose and play. One mainproblem is the controls are extreme laggy, unresponsive. For a 140mb game, I would guess the PS Vita should handle this kind of game without problems. - The button layout (Left controlstick to choose characters, X to activate) is not the best option (besides, as mentioned lags as hell ). You would think you could just ignore this and play it via Touchscreen only... but this controll option doesnt work well, as you still have to use the buttons. - menu is taken over 1-1 from Android, and its a mess for a PS Vita game. ( Press triangle for this, press L and R for this menue, press o for this menue... ) - Loading times are waaaaaay to long. + its easier to play and to upgrade your characters compared with the OS and Android version, however there are still Lootboxes and exclusive characters that you "can buy" for real money ( 9.99$ or more) in the PSN Store to upgrade the game or get higher stats faster. Considering buying the game for 19.99$ and than still have to buy parts extra, It should be a free game like on android and not a 20$ game.

it was pretty cool already it on Android ( still stuck at LV13) - as an oldschool shmups player I prefer the gamepad controls, so I was stocked to see the game today on the PSN Store for 7.99. After a couple of rounds and upgrading the ship - I would say it looks even more awesome on the PS4. Update = the latest PS patch fixed the missing Digitalcontroll. 10/10.
