A step up in almost every way from the original. Game runs fantastic. Constant 144 FPS on max settings at 1080P on RTX 3070Ti and i7-6700k. Parkour feels great, and the player progression feels incredibly significant.

$39.99 for five levels? The combat has depth and is easily the best part of the game. But it feels incredibly repetitive. After a few runs on each level, you quickly learn the enemy attack patterns. However, they are not telegraphed all too well.

What a colossal step backwards for such a prolific franchise. Feels like baby's first project rather than a seasoned studio's "love letter to the fans." Don't buy this spaghetti code in a tin.

A visual novel that is as much an audio experience as it is a visual one. The art is beautiful, and the story is crafted in such a way that it leaves no stones unturned.

The game is good. But as a port it's not fantastic. A FOV slider would be great, and there is a distinct lack of options in the video settings. However, the game runs well and the frame rates have been consistently high for me (no dips unless you have too many shift+tab tabs open on steam).

The game Assassin's Creed should have been. The combat is incredibly smooth, and enemies don't simply tank hits for indiscernible reasons. The score is incredibly well done, and that's before we talk about how good the game looks.

Runs great on PC. Probably the definitive game of the last console generation.
