Best Game Ever, according to my Steam usage. I've clocked over 4,000 hours and have all the expansions on both my Steam account and iPhone. It is followed by about half as much time with Crusader Kings 3.

I bought a new Alienware desktop computer to play this game, after watching footage of people playing it on **** and playing Crusader Kings II, which is free on Steam. It is up there with Civilization 6.

This is my favorite science fiction game. It is better than Galactic Civilizations, hands down. I used to have all of the expansions, but no longer do. Haven't played much in the last year.

Civilization 7 has some flaws that could easily have been noticed and solved if they'd had a closed beta test that people could have applied for, like I did and was accepted to the beta test for World of Warcraft. For example, there is no way to tell looking at the icons how upgraded your units in an army are, so you end up wasting time cycling through to find the ones that are not yet upgraded. Little things like that can be caught in a beta test, and Civilization is certainly a franchise with a fan base that could have supported one. Perhaps they wanted to keep it more closed to reduce the chance of it being pirated, because it is not a massively multiplayer game like World Of Warcraft, which requires people to be connected to their servers with a valid copy of the game. It is otherwise a very playable game. I've finished antiquities several times, but haven't finished the exploration or modern ages. I'm not in any rush, and Civilization 6 with some of the better mods still takes up more of my time. Civilization7 will have its day when the modders get to it.
