Diablo III: Reaper of Souls9
Apr 12, 2014
Like many of you, I quit diablo 3 long ago. It was in a pretty bad state. But, after reading several reviews, it seems like they addressed all of my frustrations. No more auction house, the loot that drops actually matters, and advancing in the game isn't frustrating as hell. Now, I'm actually rewarded for time put in. As for the price, I feel the $40 was worth it. The way I see it, if I can get the same number of hours as the price I paid, then it was worth the buy. The addition of adventure mode and rifts helps a lot, as it makes farming and leveling a lot more enjoyable, and you don't have to be bothered by the lackluster storyline anymore! Speaking of lackluster storylines, act V wasn't very memorable, so for that reason, I'll give it a 9 out of 10. However, when I was thinking about buying Reaper of Souls, I wasn't thinking about storylines.

I liked this game enough to finish everything in it. The level of difficulty felt good with the option of increasing it if I wanted to. For the price, I would say that it was worth it. However, I don't think I would ever replay it.

Did not like enough to finish. It got annoying when I tried to dash in one direction but ended up going in another. Also, it got annoying when a dash would either move you too far or not far enough and then end up dying. I also did not like the underwater parts. You go from face-paced action to slow underwater mechanics where you lose your powers. Finally, it was too easy to miss something you are trying to jump on. Something so basic shouldn't be such a pita.

The more you put into a game, the more rewarded you should feel. Right? Not in Diablo **** game makes me feel like the more I put into it, the more punished I feel. Also, it is hard to get past the poor design and story, lackluster abilities, and that world of warcraft touch that shouldn't be overlapping into a Diablo game. I will be very hesitant and cautious when it comes to new titles from the company.
