What ruins this game is fight and action. The interface or background during fight is awful. Doesn't matter if you play pve or pvp. Besides that, the cinematic was very nice. Graphics is better when we zoom in. I liked the innovation and different style. A lot of idea. Different from others MMO and WoW. Some people will like this game. Good things : story lines, cinematic, graphics (zoom in), sound, no need for classic quests less : game play, fight, action, movement, background, skills interface, too mush dialog it is free to play now. very similar to World of Warcraft in many ways : quests, craft, leveling, potions good things : graphics better then WoW or Guild War 1, character speak when casting a spell, wings used during flight, cities architecture, flight into circles to enter Balaurds homeland, flight in some dungeons less : quests annoying, timed flight, need potions between fights, not too many dungeons, enemy infiltration, exploring enemy world, world vs world, world vs Balaurds it is free now with many updates, patches and expansions. It is have some original aspects. It reminds me of SWTOR for the environment. It could make the difference with the housing, jumping puzzle and the combat system with telegraphics. It is more for kids like WOW then others MMO. The cartoon-ish style more and less. It needs subscriptions which I d' ont like. Best MMORPG so far. The best things in the game that count in score : graphics, background, personal story, living story and dynamic events. Teleportation points, vista, skill points, most jumping puzzles are good choices. We have 8 different class with some special bar per class Dungeons in scenario mode are relatively nice but need a certain level (80) and looking for group interface which existed lately. Dungeons in explorer mode is mush difficult and buggy. We can't do all 33 paths. We have also fractals with different levels. More accessible then dungeons at low level between 1 and 10. But after a certain level around 15 it is very difficult. Pve is far better then pvp. pvp is unbalanced in general, maps smaller then pve and often the same and mush more lag. Their is 2 kinds of pvp : WvW and structured. WvW and structured pvp contributes like pve to the duration of the games. They are complementary. WvW is nice because you have to take castle, garrison, tour, camp in a raid group using siege weapons. Structured pvp is nice because we need to take control of places and need some group tactic. Structured pvp is disappointing because we don't have nice skins affordable for characters. We have also a lot of activities for players how are bored from fighting. We can have up to 5 guilds per account. Not limited members. 10 levels of responsibility. Guild craft and missions. I played World of Warcraft for 1 year. I played also first extension Burning Crusade. I played Wow because it was published by Blizzard. It was the first time I have played an MMO RPG. Players that know only WoW would like it. But if you played Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 or Guild Wars 1 you can't like it. It success is based on franchise and the image of Blizzard. 15 years ago i have putted 8/10. It is still the best RTS game for strategy with the expansion pack Brood War. Very nice missions. Good story line.
