Remember when Rage was a bad shooter with mechanics from other games at the time were poorly implemented onto it with no reason or purpose? Well Rage 2 resisted being a battle royale but couldn't resist other poor mechanics.

Fun simple golf game. There is a nice variety of gameplay with a lot great unlocks. The story is fantastic so far. What the game lacks right now is polish. There is no way to quit a challenge you can't win. Several times after ending a conversation, beating a challenge, or something the game would freeze. Currently, my save file is corrupted. Its a good game that is a little too buggy at the moment.

This game lacks polish and a tutorial. The strategy wasn't readily apparent to me. After playing a game then reading online, the strategy seemed rather flat to me. You will have a preferred layout for a territory and the constant clicking to dole out orders is very boring.

So many bugs! It's kind of fun but apparently it is common to get MORE BUGS as you get further in the game, as in STOP, CRASH! I like several dialogue heavy games but I can only bother to listen to a handful of these people. They have two actors I recognize from Star Trek which was fun but I realized then that the good actors refer to the leader of the legion as "K-EYE-ZAR" and V.O. they don't care about refer to the legion leader as "CEE-SER". Gameplay is fun but the controls could have been MUCH better. Managing stats, inventory, and quests is harder than it needs to be. Tutorial is terrible with little explanation. Did I mention buggy?

Strictly talking gameplay wise, this game is a turd. This is a shooter, that has an "overworld" where you get quests and you have to drive to missions on a buggy. You know the mission area begins because you have to get off your buggy. Picking up items is tedius, shooting people is tedious, making things adds an extra step incase you werent bored enough, the maps are rehashed very early on, and you play a minigame instead of dying... The most fun I had was when I first killed an enemy because he jumped to the side and hopped on the cieling, and i realized there was not aquick meele button. The **** set in and now the only thing entertaining is crashing your buggy and flinging yourself into the mission. The story is not engaging. There aren;t many "transition" animations where you get in a vehicle or grab a zipline, the screen just goes black sometimes, and that is really lazy. And for some reason when you shoot people in a town, blood gushes but nothing happens.. Lots of other problems but these jump out at me as actively deciding to not make a good game. I don't know why critics reviewed this so positively.

The problem isn't that this game resembles mine craft. The problem is the game is a very poorly executed idea. The maps are very big and the characters are very small and fast. And everyone can instantly build giant piles of stuff anywhere on the map. If the gameplay wasn't bad enough, waiting for a server list usually not take forever, sometimes it hangs forever with no rhyme or reason. Also, attempting to play a gamemode called zombies really **** because there were no zombies. The game no only let us play with no zombies, nobody could team switch to zombies. At its best this game is a semi-functioning terrible gameplay turd.

This game fails to achieve the goal of a fun fast pace shooting MMORPG. The lack of customization and depth in design is terrible. Stopping to judge equipment to pick up is such an ugly chore. And health and mana potions should have a hot key. I would like to have auto pick up settings. All this tedium could be forgiven if killing the monsters themselves weren't empty and joyless. There is no fun to be had. This game is missing everything that makes a game a game.

Simply put not a very good game. My favorite part was the intro. After that, being constantly losing connections to servers, being "kicked" by the host before the game has even started, and random game crashes are big annoying problems that need to be fixed. It takes too long to get to a game for me to have to restart the whole process over again. Once you are over all that you have a mediocre shooter that tries to be different.
