After playing all the Halo games in Master Chief Collection, this is by far the lowest quality and most buggy of the bunch. Had an absolute blast with the other games, but having trouble pushing myself to finish this one.

Why must the players fight SO HARD for what we want. Aren't we the ones paying?? Why does Blizzard go against us? I'm out. Back to D2R and other games.

Spent the last couple weeks researching end game builds, many hours watching boring ass youtube videos so that I could come up with the best, most enjoyable build for myself. FINALLY got where I was having a blast on Monday with my lvl 100 Barb (quake effect was great and made Uber Lilith kill actually possible on Barb), but that fun only lasted about 48 hours.. HUGE nerf, logged in and now doing 1/5 the damage. WHAT THE HECK?? All that time researching, respecing and testing WASTED thanks to these nerfs. At least I got to enjoy the HotA quake effect for 2 days, but damn.. Could've been a game I played for years and now I'm looking elsewhere.

Absolutely loved this game. Great scenery, good story and fun combat. Kinda sad once I beat it, as there's very few other games that make me feel so immersed..

This game gets old very fast when playing alone in my opinion. Really needs split screen for playing with friends. Devs dropped the ball big time here.

Marketing scam to bait you in and then get you to pay in order to build faster. I'd rather play games that are based on skill instead of how much money you can waste. But hey, if you're patient enough to play this game without paying a dime, then more power to you. I just think there are much more enjoyable games out there that aren't coded to waste your time unless you pay.

Awesome single player. Lots of fun, immersive quests that will keep you coming back for more. Not really a fan of playing 3 different characters and going back and forth, but not a big deal. 9/10. That being said, multiplayer is bad. It has microtransactions that give people who pay quite an advantage over those who don't. Need I say more? 0/10.

Fun game to play with friends in short bursts. Won't keep you playing for hours at a time, but definitely gets the heart pumping for a nice 30-60min session here and there. Playing as a diver is all about sticking together with your team and trying to collect treasure as quick as possible so you can upgrade to better weapons/gear. Shark gameplay is more stealth, sneaking up, attacking quick and getting the heck out of there before the rest of the divers see you. All in all, definitely worth the $15 price I paid for it on Steam! Developers seem to be continuously adding more stuff such as Megalodon mode too which is awesome considering it's a free update for anyone who already owns the game!

Good idea, poor execution. Loot is lackluster compared to other RPG games like Diablo 3. Grinding gets boring fast and feels more repetitive than Diablo 3. FPS capped @ 30 - WTF?? And now Bungie is trying to milk more $$ by punishing players who don't purchase the DLC.. This game is overhyped junk.

Well, this game started out at a solid 0 back at release and has managed its way to work up to an 8 or 9 in my book. They got rid of the Auction Houses and made gear more like WoW where you have to work for it and can't simply trade with randoms. Before, all you needed was money to get good but now you need time and skill. Luck is important too, but with blood shards you can gamble for the item slot you want, so I can get 1-2 of the item I'm looking for per week if I play a few hours a day. After 2-3 weeks, I usually end up with a Best in Slot version of that item. A lot of people don't have that sort of patience, but I enjoy the game and the time I've put in has given me tons of enjoyment. Also, with the addition of "Greater Rifts" and Leaderboard, it doesn't feel like you're pointlessly grinding for loot anymore. Now you can actually push yourself to higher grift levels and aim to make it to the top 1000 for your class. I recently beat a 37 grift which puts me at about #300 overall in the US for barbs. And the challenge of improving and beating the next level grift keeps me wanting to play more and look for better upgrades. And the legendary gems + hellfire amulet are more cool item additions if you get bored of (g)rifts. Lots to do, you just have to figure out the most efficient ways of doing them. So yea, if you're looking for an awesome RPG with TONS of sweet loot and lots of classes and builds to play with, look no further. Yes, there are some cookie-cutter builds that seem to perform the best for some classes, but every item is unique so everyone's going to have different variations of the build in the end. Also, some classes can be a lot more fun than others. I love my barb to death whereas DH seemed boring, so make sure you research the classes before investing in one! PS - The game doesn't really become enjoyable until max level. No one enjoys the plane ride, but it's usually worth the wait :)

How many reviews start with "it's better than Ghosts, but.." This game ****. Ghosts ****. Stay far away unless you have absolutely NOTHING better to play or you somehow enjoyed Ghosts.
