..Single Player only.. Needed more time in development & painfully shows. Borrows a lot of great ideas & assets from last Remake which was right direction from the start. It just needed at least another year to iron out some rough edges. The demo pretty much featured the only time Nemesis stalks you through an open ended section. So that gave away the best thing game had to offer. I just wish the full game represented an extended version of what we got from demo. End stage so bare & unfinished looking. It reminds me of a training tutorial grid section. Plane, but really wide open. When you run around in this place, it feels like you are walking because everything is placed so far apart from one another. Funny thing too is that the labs in RE games are usually the most decorated parts in the series. RE6 even had a compelling lab section. RE2 Remake was a labor of love & full of fan service. Somehow they didn’t feel 3 was as much of a priority even though back in ps1 era, RE3 was better than RE2. So with remakes, the roles are reversed. At least we got the coolest versions of Jill, Nemesis, & Carlos from all this. I like everything about the new Nemesis. The mask, the voice, the attacks, his weapons, his mutations. The character artists for this game are gifted with the most amazing talent in the world. Let's just hope the RE2 Remake team is responsible for Code Veronica Remake & that they wait until time is right to give it to us. Yes, I’m in no rush to play. Just would like quality. One way to redeem it a bit is to patch the death animations & poor collision. When you stab a corpse, it takes you out of experience so bad. I used this as a tactic in RE2 when determining whether zombie was still alive. Now its so static & the dead bodies don’t have any physics. Its like chopping invisible cardboard that doesn’t cut. .......
Beat game today. From the start, I knew it was great. The greatness lasted throughout luckily. This is my dream game. Not one stone was left unturned for Doom fans. Not only that, but it has gameplay that reinvents the shooter genre. The puzzle, platforming, exploring, combat is all implemented in the best way possible. Its like the best things in a video game in one package. If you want to die happy & want all your wishes & dreams fulfilled, get this game. One thing I did get annoyed by was the GPS tracker. Wish companies would do away with navigators that tell you that you are 0 percent at destination, but mission wants you to do several other things before you progress. The map in the menu is at least designed so well, you can rely on it if ever confused.
I’m not big into RPG lore or grinding for hours. Think Xenoblade 2 has some things I really like about adventure games, but still set back by some very annoying fuddy duddy moments that keep it from perfection. Takes place on 13 massive open worlds. Bulk of game taken up by 13hr long, slowly paced cutscenes & 100hrs of questing. No exaggeration. Animation ranges in quality. It looks great visually, but conversations go on for eternity while robotic movements lack emotional spark to grip anyone whose not an Anime junky. Combat, though grindy at times, has a lot of interestingly deep, yet simple mechanics. I liked how I could gain money/exp by doing all kinds of side activities. It made each thing you do have a purpose. Camera panning controls is the best feature in a 3D game to date. You can lock into any perspective to hearts desire. It was specifically useful to play using overhead view in spaces with larger enemies. For someone who favors streamlined games, I did feel it was punishing that I needed to farm for hours to unlock doors in main story by meeting criteria of character field skills. You can’t just obtain these abilities at will. You need to gamble rare crystals with low probability on top of fulfilling achievement chart style missions. At certain points, I would be acquiring new characters during journey that could no longer use throughout full playthrough. Was working on boosting skills for them, but came to find that character died permanently during a scene. To my dismay, all of my hard work maxing this guy would be rendered useless. By the endgame, a specific world I was fond of for farming got destroyed. Story warned me multiple times to save or I couldn’t continue further to beat the game. It was then where I had no choice but to sacrifice a great area in exchange to see a few more boss encounters & longwinded cutscenes. Combat would have these broken moments where Ai would slip off of a cliff. Ai got confused by this & run into walls. During a farming zone battle where I fought a high level enemy, monsters I had killed a few minutes ago auto-spawned as high level beast slipped into area with a horde. Was annoying because it got me killed over clunky design. Flying enemies were hard to reach with normal attacks. Needed to farm until had a Blade Core with a long ranged weapon to inflict a reasonable amount of damage. The worst thing about game is the mission trackers. I constantly struggled in Gormott Province. There was a tree blocking where marker told me to follow. It had an up arrow at 30 percent. So I climbed the tree, then it says I’m supposed to be at the bottom. Very frustrating & misleading. Although had many issues, the pros outweighed the cons. I liked it because was into the adventuring aspect. Certain moments captured the essence found in Zelda series. Worlds are very largely scaled & big enough to compare in scope to MMOs. Almost would consider genre a Massively Single Player JRPG. Wouldn’t recommend to fans of Ocarina of Time unless they don’t mind pacing through sections that take longer by compulsively tasking for hours. Simple things like selecting multiple items to use at a time would have sped things up dramatically. Was it necessary to not have a load file option during game? A run button would be ever so useful. Not to mention a pause button during battle. Got killed because had to blow my nose. As it stands, game is suited for those who got lost in older Chrono, Mana, Final Fantasy, Xenogears Ips, or those with very patient attention spans.
Beat game on ps4 pro in 4K, set resolution as priority. Took around 10 hrs to beat. Didn’t do any side missions yet. So as a diehard Tomb Raider fan, I’m pleased that we got a lush jungle setting this time. They added 10xs the tombs & puzzles. I’m also really loving the swimming controls. Its also cool that you can play as ps1 Lara. I tried that out during the tigar fights. Felt like I was playing an HD remake of the originals at times. Gameplay wise I had little complaints. I hate only the upgrade system because I always feel like I choose the wrong things & would rather the game automatically be balaced. My other issue was with some cutscenes. The plot had its moments, but I just didnt care about the bad guy trying to end the world. I think Lara came off as shallow since her best friend Johna did everything to treat her good, yet since he’s not a sweaty chested bodybuilder, he only gets thank yous & goodbyes. We are 3 games in & the guy can’t catch a break. Also, why did TR tease duel pistols in previous games? They never make a comeback. Guess we all got lied to.
I’ve played this game all year. No matter how many replays, the thrills keep coming. After Resident Evil 7 brought back the series to its roots, they took the greatness of that game, used same engine & remixed the best qualities of all Resident Evil games into 1. Completed multiple times on both easy & hard modes. Whatever you play it on, the difficulty is finely balanced. I gained confidence to try harder modes because Ghost Survivor had very tense missions that extended replay. If you beat them all, you unlock a horde mode that is hands down the best DLC extra I’ve ever played. You need to stay alive while eliminating 100 zombies in a shop at a gas station. It trained me to think strategically. Found that zombies can’t grab you if you dislocate their arm joints by shooting weak spots. Sometimes zombies will die with one single shot if you can locate their weakest arteries. Id also like to give a shout out to the gore system in this game. It reminded me of House of the Dead where you can blow individual pieces of a zombie’s flesh off. Was awesome when I blasted a shotgun at a zombie’s head. Normally it would turn it into a squished water melon, but the hit detection is so realistic that I carved the flesh around its skull. Was certain there was no way zombie could survive that but was mistaken & got mauled by that nasty ghoul. Also gave me the incentive to replay the og ps1 RE2. They’ve come a long way even though the old one still holds up artistic & gameplay wise. The story is far more tolerable this time around due to stylized frame work & charismatic performance delivery. Each redesign also surpasses original, though the ps1 game has novel moments for its cheese factor. The only one downside is that the musical score is harder to notice. Had to tweak the volume to hear on TV. Seems like they customized audio to take advantage of speakers & headphones over TV.
My friend always says they should make a Castlevania like Dark Souls. Turns out, they already did. This game has deep mechanics. Maybe FromSoftware took ideas from this game & never gave it credit. Midway through game bosses become ruthless. Last battles are a complete workout. Got to lock on targets & dodge attacks. Gather drops to forge a vast amount of gear. Level up exp by farming powerful enemies. Buy & sell items. Command several Ai partners which you can share abilities with. Once you level them up they mutate into a mega evolution (POKEMON STYLE). This game has it all. You can even unlock a bonus game with a classic Vania character. Theres about 11 bosses & stages. Long game with tons of replay. Fav part in Vania is when you walk up a long gothic staircase to Death & Drac. This game is worth it for these moments alone. Biggest complaints. Right stick controls are not very smooth. Can’t sprint so backtracking can be a hike, though theres warping rooms for each stage. More powerful weapons hard to land hits because they swing very slowly & leave you vulnerable. Better off using midtier equipment.
Here's a Gamepro style review since this is a retro kind of game. Graphics 4.5/5 Sound 4.5/5 Control 4.5/5 Fun-factor 4.5/5 ....Challenge: Adjustable Graphics: Clean, nice simple art style. A bit too safe at times though Sound: Does the job for the most part. Not as memorable as classic entries though Control: Near perfect, although I accidentally bump into right joy-con stick & change weapons. Fun Factor: Cool story, good mix of levels, welcome new features, good challenge. Not the most epic or original game out there though.
Disliked this game after playing 30 mins of it, but boy did my opinion change after discovering the hook & nuances it had to offer. Don’t be like me expecting Dark Souls 2D. This game is better than Souls because it is constantly encouraging you to try new gear rather than commit to a strict class. I see Dead Cells as a new type of arcade style game where you can play for a few mintutes to countless hrs. If arcades were still big, this would be some next level stuff.
I beat this much later upon release. Beat every Mega Man game on switch starting with Legacy Collection 1/2 & X Collection 1/2. Before hand, I had played & beated Mighty Gun Volt which is a masterpiece. Inti Creates has had a perfect track record of releasing Capcom/Konami style games. Mighty No. 9 is no expection. Brilliant level design, stylized art style, tight controls, fun cartoonish VO, & an aggressive but fare/ rewarding challenge. All the makings of a classic Mega Man style game one could ask for. The only issues I had with the game is that I couldn’t access weapons from start menu or single button weapon wheel. Had to cycle with 2 buttons during heated battles. Also characters not being able to move their lips while speaking looked off. Only minor gripes though.
Here’s the truth. I don’t like giving low scores or trolling reviews. To put it bluntly this game is one of those games that is legit bad enough to deserve a 4 from both critics & fans. For the first few stages I thought this game was actually fun. Its when I played more & more that it dawned on me that it is a repetious wave/hord fest where a non-stop cluster of enemies overstay their welcomr during each challenge. Its a shame the game ran out of ideas so quickly because the controls are very well implemented. There’s 40 levels & 6 stages that are well designed artistically. Its too bad they didn’t take a lot more time on this. Signs **** game are blurred by the uneven mission structure.
Cons: Never got used to the axe recall. I would be using my fists the majority of the first half of the game since I forgot the axe was on the ground. They should have had an alternate switch for the axe to boomerang automatically at all times. Mature level was toned down in parts. We got cutaways during the gruesome moments. Red blood is uncommon but can be brutal. Just no where near as violent of GOW3, which had Mortal Kombat levels of gore. The funny mini games where you take girls to bed are no longer in this game either. Upgrading was very overwhelming. Before in past games it was a chore to spend time in menues that made users choose on what skills to improve. They take it to new levels because you got to choose on gear for each section of your body and your son. We need games to stay away from menues as much as possible. Story had a gap since a major part was never addressed between 2 characters and their relationship with one another. Only had a few boss battles. Not as many as past games. They are spread out at random times instead of at the end of each level. Norse setting was a bit less exciting than Greek Mythology, but guess they didn't have many options. Who knows, maybe the bible or Love Craftian trilogies will come for the ps5. Pros. Graphics where out of control. Very detailed, colorful. Took full advantage of pro using upscaled 4K. Environments were spread out and had a good mix of places to visit around each world. Combat was nice since it felt like Dark Souls meets Devil May Cry. Also cool that your son is always around to help stun enemies. Puzzles where fairly tricky which helped mix up action to a nice pace. Was reasonably long and challenging over all. Story was well written and had characters that made you care about them. Some awesome plot twists were revealed later near the end that will be neat to anyone wanting surprises.
Beat game in 2 hrs. Has 8 levels during main campaign that feel like DLC remixes from Doom 2016. Has bonus Doom 1 stages that you can unlock to extend replay value. Played game mostly with aim controller. Had to tweak a few settings so it felt less casual. Turned on left stick movement with smoothing cam rotation. I don’t suffer from motion sickness so avoided any nonsense that tried to aid me. Jumping is completely gone which makes no sense because this game can make people sick by teleporting and bouncing on launch pads. My biggest complaint is the grenade shooter. Want to desperately focus on my normal gun, but the grenade hand is always in my sights. I tried playing with move, but that set up has no way to turn off motion sickness restrictions. Can’t even rotate cam so it’s completly impossible to play that way to begin with. Normal ds4 controls are doable, but again has grenade hand always in plane view while normal gun is moving. If that grenade hand ever gets an option to be disabled then it would be a much better game. Doom never had duel weapons. Who thought it would be a good idea for an unneeded weapon to always block the player’s view? Also even more bad news. No BFG or chainsaw. I guess the broken teleporting feature sacrificed the additional buttons needed for extra weapons. Btw, teleporting is worse than playing Kinect in the dark. God help us if VR relies on teleporting in future games. If so, VR would truly be doomed.
I read that this was made to be as if it launched on Sega Saturn. If this exact game had launched on the system it would have been its saving grace. That's how good this game is. A shy from a 10. A more epic end boss would have made this perfect. I would also have liked the option to play as the Sonic 3 sprite. We play as the Sonic CD one with nicer animation.
Controls are mixed here. On one hand the dodge feature is a Vango. Pretty revolutionary for tp combat battles, yet no one will phraise the game for it. The viewing angle can be a bit far away at times. I like the moments where Samus is viewed in tp while riding on elevators. Being that we switch to tp & FP view on the fly, it's pretty off to have angles that are vastly polar opposite from one another. The FPS cam is fine except mapping is complexly off. Would have been a seemless scheme if mistle and cam scrolling buttons where close together with shooting config. Pressing 1 to shoot and 2 to aim and lock on would have been compfy. Another gripe is Samus's voice actress. Her dialogue is strong & well written, but she is too soft spoken. She sounds sad even when she talks about joyful memories. There are not many cutscenes so it's not a big deal. **** I can't skip scenes after seeing them on second play throughs. Graphics are not too bad. They are less detailed than Prime. They kind of look plain when in large scale rooms. The length of the game is very short & could have easily made this game more epic if at least 10 hrs of extra content was added on. Music & sound are very boring & low key. Level design is also not very exciting. Has typical snow, lava, nature, & desert sections. None of which stand out or haunt the player with any type of artistic integrity. Why do I give this game an 8 if it has a lot of drawbacks? Simple, it's fun to play. Clever game challenges throughout the campaign. Never really boring or tedious. Kept me entertained for what it's worth. It was not too hard, not too easy. Just right. Gave hints on where to go & what to do without spoiling the fun of figuring out the puzzles. Also I'd like to note that all of the bosses were fun to battle. They were what you'd expect from a 2D to 3D randition translated to a more powerful console. For a Metroid game, it is a pretty solid entry that stays true to the formula. I liked the combat a lot more in this game than in Prime. It also is much more fun to control the screw attack here than it was in past 3D Metroids. If Team Ninja ever did a redux of this game they would need to borrow from Snake Eater & turn the fixed cam sections into TPS modes with full cam control. FPS mode also needs to get full 3D movement. Button mapping option is a huge must. And for the love of Nintendo, please let those cutscenes be skipable.
In time for Metroid Prime 4's announcement I decided to warn people about this game. As a long time fan of the Metroid franchise it's frustrating that this game was designed for a narrow audience that likes their games brutally unforgiving. Nintendo typically makes games with a balanced difficulty to challenge the player. I've completed every Prime & mainline Metroid game to this date. I've only given up several times one the NES original for being unfair & frustrating. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind hard. I've defeated the Unamed King in Dark Souls 3 & felt rewarded. In Prime 2 we get leeway to ease the challenge only by collecting every hidden upgrade in the game. That's fine but this game punishes for exploration. When you revisit sections you have to battle enemies who like to run around at top speed, that lock you in rooms, which then go invisible, & take way too long to inflict damage upon. Not till the end of the game when I combined light & dark suit power into my inventory was I able to cope with exploration. There are some boss battles that require you to switch between ball & suit. It becomes so riddled with difficulty spikes that I wanted to actually smash my controller. I had not been that angry while playing games in years. Every time a boss got too hard, I would dread back tracking to get better items because it's so easy to get lost. Not only that but the dark world drains health by roaming in it. By the time I got to the end, the boss fights became more and more unforgivable. They would place me in long winded battles depleting health bar after bar. When I died, I got sent all the way back to a save station. Had to hike back to the boss, watch cutscene, & face trial while experimenting to find weak spots during battle. When I fought my doppelgänger, the boss was impossible. It turned invisible & required pin point timing to inflict a small amount of damage on. The biggest slap in the face was before I got to end game. Just like other Prime games you need to find every hidden artifact possible. First game was mellow by comparison. I mean, the sky keys are like finding buried treasure while being blind folded. This game is overrated to no end. As a positive I wouldn't mind replaying this game if they ended up remaking it with less frustrating bits. Under the difficulty lies a gem. It **** to hate this game over a programming decision like that. But then again how did Nintendo not think they would alienate a lot of fans by choosing to go this route? PS. The Prime series had some moments, but I've never seen any enemy from the original except for Ridley. In 2 we don't even get that. No basic enemy types are familiar. We never got Mother Brain once. Just some odd looking thing at the end of 3 that needed to be shot in the back of its head while pointing up with a Wii remote that couldn't detect off TV motions.
Beat 100 percent in VR. Shows promise for future AAA titles that it can be done. VR definitely enhanced the overall experience and is a critical feature no one should ignore. The full 360 viewing angle is a life changing mechanic. The artistry that Capcom has pulled off in past RE classics is still present here, and viewing it with an added layer of realism compares to some very vivid nightmares I've been haunted by ever since I was a kid. Not only did this game innovate in a lot of ways, it brought back all of the core features from the original games. The Tyrant old man transforms into a creature similar to Nemesis and chases you throughout a grisly mansion. Was not expecting this game to resemble the classics so closely. It holds the spirit of the originals all the way down to the similar locations and events that took place in Racoon City. A notable let down here is that we only get a small variety of enemy types. Would have been a 10/10 if we got some zombies, dogs, hunters, sharks, and giant spiders. Also if load times didn't **** so bad and all cut scenes had a skip feature. Really hoping the announced Resident Evil 2 Remake will go full VR and include7's FPS viewing angle. As an added bonus they should include the psx version.
Plus+++++ Lush Visuals that resembled Zelda Skyward Sword & Spirit Tracks. Controls move in 8 directions unlike the previous games that had massive circle pad, dead zone lag. Takes 30 Hrs to beat which is a perfect run time. Not much grinding at all for an RPG. Use Rare Candy to boast XP even more. Every building in the game can be entered. No repeats of locations. Riding Pokemon that run 100mph never gets old. Wealth of post game activities and collecting. Negative------ Caves and water navigation increases random battles while desiring to explore and collect. Music was not very catchy like other known Nintendo brands. No orchestrated tracks, repetitive. Couldn't Save game after long end battle, optional extra battle, 20 minute long credit sequences, and 10 Minutes worth of cut-scenes. Good luck with battery not dying while on the go. Plot dragged on at points with bad guys bragging and dissing the player's skills. Family member who betrays and is evil cliche. Enemies that hide in trees, then ambushed. Total BS Bosses that use health potions even while they have 1 percent health. Pokemon that keep calling for battle support while I'm in the middle of trying to capture it.
Just finished the campaign and I have to say, this is the best FPS of all time. Not only did this game exceed my expectations, but it also went the extra mile to make this as true to the origional as possible. They have every single enemy from Doom1 and 2. Even ones they lead you to belive are not in the game. If you love any Doom there is no way you wont like this. The finishers, chainsaw, vaulting and double jump ad all new dimensions to the already supreme formula. The additions are often useful and don't feel tact on at all. The guns are pretty brutal on their own, but their is so many ways you can make them more powerful. Just like in New Order, you can complete challeges to unlock special abilities. You can find secrets to enchance the suit, and you can play trial modes that teach you hidden tricks ontop of unlocking yet a another new set of abilities. There is one secret at the end that I figured out by playing the last level of Doom 2. Won't say much but John Romero will be happy. I hope to see more Doom games like this come out soon. I have a feeling Quake is the direct sequel that will tine into this. Call it a hunch. Bet it will be just as fathful to the origional with castles and space weapons. I gave this a point off because it isn't the most perfect looking game. There is no campaign co-op, just co-op in snap map. The story isn't too exciting and it slows down the action at brief times, soundtrack can get too repetitive and is nothing special. At least the origional tune made it in. There is one bug in the close the well mission. I killed the last enemy with beserk mode active and I was locked in the room with no escape. I thought I was lost for an hr, and it made me restart the last check point.
On the verge of rivaling Nintendo's library of classic masterpieces. Best 2d third party action game evermade. A few things can get annoying. Sometimes a bro will be far underpowered for a mission than other bros, leaving you to commit suicide to change characters. Glitches in the 2nd to last boss fight had me respawning off screen and into death. Odd, but I found ways around it. I could see Broforce becoming an AAA franchise. It looked terrible in the trailers to me so I avoided it for the longest time. No one would believe me that this game is a masterpiece. They need to put out a sequel asap. Minor tweeks could make this game stand out dramatically. This is like the time when I told everyone about GTA on ps1 and everyone thought it looked like some dumb snes game with outdated gameplay. The Broforce team could be swimming in money if they play their card's right.
Holds up well and the enhanced features go a long way to revitalize this classic. This game will make you miss Turok and 3D fps adventure games. This is worth getting for a number of reasons. This was one of the first evolutions to the fps genre. Before Turok, Doom's 3D Gauntlet style was the format the industry borrowed from. Turok added a more open ended adventure aspect to the genre much like Metroid and was the first console shooter to have fully 3d rendered models and worlds. The old visual style is still very appealing if you are not comparing it to today's hardware. It would be nice to see indy devs go with this updated hd n64 look. The controls here are better than modern games in many ways. The modern fps has simulated running, and reload animations. IMO Turok's auto run feature makes it more fun to explore large environments. It shows where modern design has gone wrong. If I wanted a simulation shooter I would shoot for absolute realism, and not half step it.This isn't the case with Turok, it is pure fantasy. This game should be viewed as a lesson for modern designers. Take most of what this game has to offer, streamline it a bit more, show the key locations on the map, reduce enemy respawns, add co-op, and give it a hardware makeover. personal notes-- There is really not much dated matterial here, just under used. Dated is really simplistic scripted events that give less interactivity, which equals to a lesser experience. Holding in a run button was outdated back in the Resident Evil days, yet to be hip, they think a wacky arcade shooter needs real world simulation feedback to engage players. Modern games are fun, but misguided.
My biggest gripes with the last Tomb Raider have been addressed in this game. Challenge is handled reasonably well this time. Found the puzzles too short in easy in the last game and it had very little tomb exploration. It was more about combat. This one has a decent mix of combat, exploration, puzzle solving, and collecting. It doesn't drag on too long in one direction. After beating the game I was happy to explore additional challenge tombs. The only complaint I can think of is that is the over world sections are not set in particularly exciting locations. Would have liked an island setting better. Maybe the next game will let you travel the world more often. Imagine if you relived areas like the great wall of China. Also, where's the duel wielding desert eagles?
To get the most fun out of it, press start on main menu and turn certain modes on and off. I like playing mostly classic terrorist hunt and bomb defuse TH. On TDM, I play mainly hostage rescue. For operator I go with Sledge. He has powerful weapons and is good for beginners. I'm glad SP is basically challenge tower training missions. Story campaign is too overblown in other Rainbows. This is very much like any other traditional Rainbow 6. The explosive environments add so much challenge and tacticle planning. The only thing that keeps this game from getting a 10/10 is that they didn't include local co-op and a tps cover system this time. If you like games like Socom, Unit13, Ghost Recon, Swat, Counter Strike, or anything related to armed forces/ espionage, this is a dream come true.
There's a few things keeping this from being perfect. Ai companions ignore a lot of my commands, tracking markers have me running in circles at times, no vaulting, third person reticle is off at times, selecting weapons during intense situations takes too long, the save system is a cluttered mess, and the game freezes. Those are the only flaws. The pluses++++ The rest of the game more than makes up for any short comings. I can't say the graphics are even bad really. We are not there yet with system power on consoles. The gameplay is enhanced above even Skyrim. Every building in the game can be entered and each location's interior is unique. The plot around the father searching for his son gets the most unpredictable turn you could imagine. Making choices is so important that anyone you make friends with will impact the story. I literally was a rat who partnered on both sides of a war. I saved at different times so I was able to prevent a war. This is the game of the year without exception. This is also my favorite game of all time. Myamotto, Kojima, and the Housers are industry leading geniuses. I think Tod Howard is the next commendable gaming developer of our time. He has made just as many hits as the other guys. Let the industry take full notice of his achievements.
This game has a few fatal flaws here's a list ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Missleading Navigational compass. Road blocks that prevent vehicles from traveling short distances. Uneven difficulty that's sometimes too easy and too hard Online lag Slowdown when too much action is on screen Low Res texture pop in Load Times that last nearly 2 minutes everytime you die. Aside from these issues the game has the best melee combat, shooting controls seen in any other third person action game. The multiplayer is also well implimented. It's a shame they didn't delay the game to fix these problems. I'd like a sequel or reworked edition to address this game's issues. I'd also like to suggest putting in a death match and local multi player mode. Since you play a mechanic, why not fix broken vehicles?
Skyward Sword is the longest Zelda game. After the 6th Dungeon I thought the game was near the end
In actuality you are going to solve additional quests beyond that.
3 dragon quests
then a triforce quest
a total of 4 spirit leaf missions
3 imprisoned boss fights.
completion time, 61. hrs
WARNING!!!!
Make sure to copy the quest before the last fight. An Alternative story mode will save over your progress. Skyward Sword is like a semester of school
first you solve a puzzle, then you are given that same puzzle with different variations.
You are given chapters with weapons that solve these puzzles in a specific manner.
You will then have to memorize these puzzles because you will be given a test to solve them again during the later levels. If you fail, you can look in the back of the book a la stone guide. This is a game that works both your senses and your reflexes. Not too many games require this kind of skill. This game will be remembered far more than recent Zelda titles. It brings back the old spirit that was left behind during the snes days. Best of all, they brought back the beam that fires from the sword. This is the first 3d Zelda to include this mechanic.
