I barely review games any more or at least on metacritic for some reason. Now while i have only finished 7 visual novels with some on my backlog , however it doesn't change that fact that i really, really liked this game. The story/ plot was interesting all the way trough with alot of twist and turns i didn't see coming. While i have played alot of sad and emotinal games during my time, this has to be one of the saddest or most emotional once, has at least a couple of scenes that really hit you or at least it hit me. I really liked the setting , that it takes place in modern Japan or a Japan from 2008 or so, despite it being 10 years old i think it has hold up pretty well. I really like all the varied characters you met or/ and you played as. They were more then varied enough, and how the all got intertwined with each other from time to time was really , really great. I liked the fact that you play as 5 different characters all with they own personality and the own reason to be a part of the story. I liked that you can jump back and forth between characters to unlock more parts of the story. I loved all the weird and funny bad endings , i think most if not all of those i have seen makes sense, but some are still pretty funny or weird. I really liked that the game had some humor, and had it share of funny moments. Also think the soundtrack is pretty damn good. Their might be some wrong typos, but not that many and it didn't affect the game for me, but well thats about the only negative thing i got. If you can play this game without to much hype, and you play a hr or two a day or so, you will get yourself a fantastic game that i argue deserves far more attention and that goes for the genre it self to, this is quickly becoming one of my all time favourite games if it isn't even that already. Excellent game with alot of humor and charm and if you just can accept that it takes place in 2008 or so ,you will get an excellent Visual novel. Recommended if you like that genre. PS: i am not to fond of the rating system, but i would consider this a masterpiece even tough that word is used to much especially if you can play it slow or just take you time to enjoy it and try to ignore the hype. I fell it has hold up very well. the review might be updated when i get all the bad endings or alternate endings.

Well first thing first i wil set this review up as i did with the first kotor game and they will be a little similar. Also this review is on steam before we start , compared to kotor 1 i played or tried to play wholly as the light side. If i did get some dark point a re-loaded an earlier savefile of the game , witch i wont do on my second go. Pro - Great gameplay. With some minor improvement like easy change of melee and ranged even tough i mainly used melee on my MC , also the add off different forces/styles. - Great soundtrack music - Darker in setting or tone the kotor 1. Witch also makes for a darker plot. ( But i probably prefer the original due to a little be pacing ,but is entirely objective/subjective or whatever the say - Overall better and more interesting characters imo and villain . - Again a great rpg with a lot of choices yu can make , however the ending you get seems to be dependant on your choice in the end fo the game. -You can play it at you own , pace it starts out linear, but eventually you get 4 planets you can choose to explore and take on in what order you want ,also able to go back an forth. - Just hard enough , even tough the bosses is pretty hard. - Replay value. Cons: However there is some cons here compared to the original, i had problem with the mouse freezing right after cutescens so be sure to save regularly. But it seems too vary very much on people and there probably some fixes for it out there. Also looting from container and especially on npc sometimes i had to loot from a specific angel. - one of the places you visits feel to drag on a little and so does the last location your at. Also i recommend you to use the restoration content mod Great game a little bit worse then the original due to it cons how ever if it was for cons it would be very tight. It would basically be plot vs characters an tone/setting of the game a darker star wars or not as dark.

Firstly according to my save files i have played for around 37 hr and 51 min , but i guess with game overs reloading save files etc i am close to 40 hrs. I played as the light side for 90% of the time or so Pro - Great gameplay. I will say this it works, yes there a far better gameplay out there but it works and plays just fine. - The soundtrack - The sidequest , some very good and intersting side quests and some few of them cant be done if you progress the main quest to far - Very good story/plot - Interesting characters/ companions , all with there own reason to join you etc. Like Hk-47, Carth , Bastila and Juhani for exemple. - A solid rpg with some hard choises - A game that does`nt hold you hand and show you where to go - Just hard enough - (Replaybilites) Haven`t checked this out but due to you can be both the dark side and light side and with multiple endings and choises i guess the game could easily warant 2 or 3 playtroughs. - More then decent voice acting Cons - I dont really have any here either The best space rpg if you can call it that i know of beside perhaps mass effect 2. Highly recommended if you really like rpgs , no matter wether or not if you really are a star wars fan or not. Quickly become one of my favourite games and screw that last boss Malak. I decided to put my steam reviewe for this game here as i just finished kotor 2 too. Witch also will be reviewed.

This game is great. This games has tons of charm, both in is music/soundtrack witch is fantastic, but also in is characters. The characters are well designed with alot of charm in them, they have unique personalities. The game has alot of humor. And the spare parts makes the gameplay interesting in the way you don't have to "kill" anyone, you can spare everyone in one way or another. The story is great. Some of the side activities or side quests if you can call it that is fantastic. This is a pretty solid rpg. With replay value. And i wont be surprised that i will replay this one more time down the line. Also the graphic , what to say it has it charm , it works in this 2d rpg. Last thing is to say is try not to watch anything on youtube before you play this. Go in scratch with no barely no info about the game is best and you will actually go in and visit a wonderful created game. So my rating well i cant help it but is a 10 , i dont find any real flaw in it , and compared to alot of other games is actually not that easy is quite hard, not dark souls hard or anything but, hard enough, it has replay value. While i don`t really agree with gamefaq that is the best game ever ,is was population contest tough , because i am one of the few who think there probably wont be a best game ever. Anyway it among my favourite games and i cant say this enough this games has tons of charm, humor and did i mention the atmosphere is fantastic. Thanks for reading. PS:MINOR SPOILER REGARDING THE ENDING i almost wished i didn't complete it today on my b-day as the ending surprised me and i taught the game glitch over and over, not funny when i thought i had to do the last boss again, but still when i think about it wasn't that bad, it worked pretty well and was actually a little fun when you realise the game is just joking with you .

I am stuck between an 8 and 9 but since i upped alot of reviews that been 8.5 and so on in the past i feel this game is rock solid 8 at elast if not a 9. To be fair i dont like the scoring system. But a good game , that is long , perhaps a bit to long, good enemy variety, decent amoung of weapons, the stealth works. Is fun and on uber you gonna get your ...... kicked probably. The game is brutal on uber. I almost regreted finishing the last time that happen was prince of persia warrior within hd. Now this game has a great soundtrack, decent characters and story for an fps. So do you like old scholl fps that is hard ,but also plays great with a decent story , you should get this. PS: most games i end up completing from here on out will most likely be reviewed.

Before we start the review I usually dont do short reviews on metacritic, unless they console games, if they are pc and on steam , i usually leave them on steam, but as this is an expansion pack this is and exeption . PS i am between an 8.5 and a 9 A great expansion pack to the main game . Worth playing even to this day ( same i say with goldeneye for n64) , very fun to witness the events from a different point of view. Just long enough. Just hard enough, great level design. Good weapon variety and enemy variety. The only minor complaint is arguably the aiming. While the aiming works, sometimes the autoaim is a hindrance. However a great fps game. And while fps isnt my fav genre , sometimes fps , especially when the fps is good and hard they tend to stick with me. Like this game , moh frontline, nolf, golden eye, perfect dark etc. Recommended. All right , i finished this game today after having it for 5 or 7 year ro so in my libary. i am not the biggest fan off interactive movies , and while this one does it great wit h ag great story ( a little better then tlou, but tlou again has a far better narrative and character development), good characters and character development , great music. The gameplay is simple , following a lot qte. What is good is that there a different endings, and you choices will affect who survives or not. Good game recommended PS: i am pretty stuck if this is an 8 or a 9. I am at 8.5 the question just is i am i closer to the 8 or to the 9 either way a game that is still recommended to play

Well a short fun rpg, i used 12 hrs and 25 miin to complete it , for me is a 9 due to some frame rate drops that is a bit irritating. And a little lag of relay vallue. The turn based system is more unique , then normal turn based system, with counter attack , summons , special abillites and so on and is fun, there is way to kill enemies before combat starts witch is cool. Is my top 10 ps3 games if not counting hd collection and psn classics etc (in case you wonder my top 1 is probably rdr/bioshock/arkham city or skyrim ( portal 2 but thats on pc) . the story is good enough ,with humor and charm. The music is great , especially the theme that plays when you make up from one day to the next. The graphic style is also fitting for south park and fit the show very well. You also have side quests and summons. Great fun rpg , highly recmommended.

Were to start..before I start. I played trough fire emblem 6,7,8,9,10,11 before this and on the last chapter on awakening doing optimization when it comes to s support , stats and characters/children. So what is there to say about fates: Birthright? First lets talk about the difficulty Well firstly i played it on hard ,did two paralogues and barely any grinding. And the game is fairly hard , when people say it is similar to awakening , i can because you have more option to grind , how ever i still found awakening harder. But with that said dont let it surprise you if you end up with some chapters that is really hard. The majority of the chapters i had to use multiple tries to get trough. Story- Well it has a better story then in awakening. The story feels more unique and has soem sad moments too. And the villains is mostly good too, with that said i liked some of the villains from the previous entries Aversa from fe 13 etc, Nergal, Limistella, Sonia , Lyon , The black knight etc. But mostly the villains feels a little better. Characters- If we count both games i would choose fates, if we count birthright simple vs awakening i prefer awakening cast. But never the less you find a lot of good characters, interesting once and it feels bad when you have to fight your " siblings" no matter what route you choose i guess ( just started conquest) Gameplay- Well if you played a fire emblem game you know how this is. The gameplay is similar to awakening with some tweeks like enemy pair up etc. Support is again unlimited. Weapons doesnt have durability, but staffs does. And you have some more options when you customize you characters. And there are some other surprises here. The only major con is that i wish there was more then one objective type. But again dont bother me to much, but if conquest has more variety as they say , then i will look forward to conquest and be happy ( started it yesterday on chapter 8). All in all a very good game 9.5/10 With that said i have played this for around 73 hrs and 30 min. My favourite is stilI fe 7 and 13. Fe 7 isnt because it was my first fe game , cuz that was fe 8. Now i am on to play conquest then revolution and also have to figure when to finish awakening. NB: Probably one of my favourite game series , and the only turn based strategy games that comes close is civ 5, and tw: Rome+ medieval 2.

From someone who really like all uncharted games previously , especially uncharted 2 ( witch i finished 4 times). This game is perhaps even better then uncharted 2 and that i never thought would happen. I was quite afraid this game would be bad, but it is not. So as RenaudL say lets be honest here after around 16 hr of playtime this game is fantastic. Good characters, great banter between Nate, Sully, Sam and Elena. Good enough Villains in Rafe and Nadine. Great soundtrack. The best story in a uncharted game. The best gameplay in a uncharted game. Fun going round exploring and climbing. And i think thats a good thing that the game is a little bit more focus on exploring and climbing , while giving you a lot of freedom when you first get to combat , and there more then enough combat too. You also get a more then satisfying ending . And while i loved this game far more then the last of us. All in all this game is nothing short by amazing. Don`t listen to any review less then 8.0 that it does not deserve.

I will be honest and say that when i first booted this game up half a year ago or so, i didnt like it. But then i decided that 30min-1 hr without really trying to learn how the stats system works wasnt enough. So i gave it another go with a clear mind and as of now i am totally hooked. the first thing people will ask how does it compare to skyrim and i say its better. I have 450 + hrs on skyrim on ps3. And despite me playing this for less i still think this game is better and no this isnt a comparion between this and skyrim. The good: Story: I will begin with the story and is one of the best stories in an open-world game. One of the best main stories i have seen in a open world game second only to witcher 3 , but this game has a far better lore. The story touches upon drug use, gods, religion, racism , good and evil is always not as clear as it seems. As someone pointed out who is good guys here are you the good guy or are you helping some evil killing off the good , well is up to you to decide , but in this game it isnt clear who the villain really is. Quests: In this game compared to many games i have played i really feel like doing all the side quests, i feel i help the world in someway, makes it a better place. There are alot of different side quests, from assasination, getting something, clearing a tomb, steal something , persuade someone etc. The main quest is great and the side quests doesnt feel forced and you will probably on numerous times find out that you rather do the side quests then the main quests. Or like what happens to me alot i do a main quest then suddently i get to a new area were i get tons of new side quests, or some of the side quests i have can be completed in the area or close to it. Some of the best quests i have seen in a long time. As i said previously only Witcher 3 comes close. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is fantastic. Every city feels like unique, almost every place feels unique. The landscape , the world is huge and you really feel like you are there , also because of the music. When it comes to the places you visit you got the huge place called Vivec , small towns like Balamora and Peligrad, different forts, a huge mushroom that alot of shops and homes is in. You can walk from a huge town then you suddently finda a field with steam or you have come to a volcano. And the weather system needs to be mentioned too. It can go from bright daylight - to ash storms - to rainy nights. Music: The soundtrack is fantastic and really helps creating this fantastic world. Gameplay: Well lets starts with when you hit someone it use a dice based system and a variety of factors and it works. It will probably get smashed by today standards if developers did this in todays games, but if you get around the idea you will find a gameplay that is pretty great and still works al right today. The skill system is great, with major, minor and misc skills. Major and Minor skills levels up your overall level so you can have more strenght, luck , agilit etc Misc skills is just some skills that still will help you dont focus on them too much. Your skills depnds on the class. I will also like to add that the use journal and talk to the people to find the directions to a town or do a quest without any hand holding is great. You can enchant boots or a ring with levitate makes you levitate/ fly for as long as you want. You can make for some stupid reason that when you hit and enemy he will turn inviniclbe. You can enchant so you have more strength. The fast traveling in this game is pretty great, instead of what alot of todays game do that you simply click on a location you have visit previously and teleporting there for a magical reason you will in this game have to either use a mage guild, slit strider, use scrolls, boat or a mark and spot with a spell then teleport you to that spot again **** yeah its old school but adds to the exploration. Cons: As of my update as i have played tribunal and almost completed it, at the later hrs i have encountered a lot more time falling trough the floor, inside buildings and so on, at the worst time i am stuck and have to teleport out. Score So for me i rate this a 9.8/10 Skyrim if you wonder 9.4/10 One of the best open world game i have played. N.B: When i wrote my fallout 2 review or the one for deus ex i had hard time imagining that i would fine a new game that i would enjoy this much on pc and this one did ( not going to be surprised if days of the tentacle, total war rome will be up there too,maybe the old gta`s too). Despite whatever flaws people find in this game i will still say is a masterpiece ****.

I will start with saying that this game is far better then Fallout 3 (ps3), Fallout 4 (pc) and i probably enjoyed it more then new Vegas (ps3) too and tactics ( only played 2 hrs). Onto the review. Gameplay: This game is a turn based rpg , set in a post apoclyptic world. You have huge map to explorer and you can if you want to go straight to the last locations. The game has tons of various cool character you can talk to. And quests you can do. With multiple factions all with they own agendas, and if you don`t like any of them you can either kill them or skip doing those quests all together. Also every companion can be order to be offensive, use melee weapons or ranged, carry stuff or to wait or move if they stand in you way , witch may happens sometimes. It might no be the best gameplay but it still works just fine. And the game is neither to hard nor to unforgiving. Character development / leveling/skills and quest: How your develop you character is entirely up to you. Do you want to fist you way trough the game you can do that. Do you wanna be a sniper and let your companions if you want to have companions do the fight for you , you can do just that. Do you want to play the game alone you can do that. For every four level you reach you can choose a skill and some of this skills is pretty good and actually has a meaning. Do you want to be a sweet talker and try to talk your way trough most of the quests you can do that. Compared to the later fallout especially fallout 4 at least in a large extent you have more freedom in how you do your quests and how you accomplish them all with multiple solutions and your choices also has consequences. All the character you meet have their own personalities and perhaps even problems or a reason they need your help or a reason why the want to join you and lastly those character especially on the companion side is plentiful and enough of them but not to many and neither to few. All skills have they own usefulness. Almost every character you meet has something to tell about the world. Plus if you really want to you can be a made - man/woman. And lastly you earn exp by doing quests and killing or even picking up a special items or using seeing special encounters. So yeah the game is pretty violent. Like shooting the groin of someone or the head of someone. Factions: A short note on factions. Every factions as previously said have they own agendas. Some are evil som are good some are somewhere in between. Some want to make prostitution and gambling legal. Some want to focus on something else. Setting: Perhaps most important of all is the setting. The setting is great. It feels very mush like an a post-apocalyptic game. All of the locations feel different in a good way. Different cultures. Different rules in the different places. Every places has it own mini-stories of side quests to tell. And with the wonderful music it could nt be any/much better. And the game has tons of Charm and Humor. Music: the soundtrack is very good. And a lot of the tracks if not all you will **** really helps you immerse yourself into the setting Bonus: I would put it here. The humor is very good. There is a lot of times you will laugh. Like missing a 95% hit or hitting a target with 20% hit for that matter. You will laugh by the funny and witty and good written dialogue. A lot of cool Easter eggs that even i understood or laughed and thought was funny, i am not the best at finding Easter eggs, but i could in this game. And the ending is more then good enough to and so is the voice acting at least for that time. And despite some few crashes the game is still utterly fantascic. Give it a shot , even if you disliked fallout 3/4. Hugely different. Score : highly recommended 10/10 if you enjoy turn based rpg set in a wonderful and brilliant rpg setting One of the best pc game i have ever played if not the best . The only one that is close in Planescape, Deus ex and perhaps Max payne 2 and Portal 2. And just if you wonder i would rate new Vegas 9.5 fallout 3 9/10 fallout 4 6-7/10 NBI am going to say this is beyond me why this game ha snt gotten enough recognition, well atleast that what it seems like. How a game like this can`t get on top 128 games on gamefaq when games like fallout 3 or say undertale ( as there is many who thought it should nt be there)or any top 50 pc games is beyond me. But i guess everyone has is taste, no bias. and yeah i know in the fallout community this is considered the best fallout game and i have to agree despite putting at least 250 hrs in fallout 3 and 250 hrs in new vegas if not more. I Complete this game 01.11.15 (two days ago) Some will say this game is one of the best pc games ever if not the best game ever made. I can`t argue with neither. I certainly think it is the best pc game ever, and arguably the best game ever made (the only game that i may say is better no matter platform is persona 4 golden). NB: I have yet to completed planescape tornment but, those 8 hrs i have played is absolutely brilliant. Over to deus ex. While the graphics isnt top notch and the gameplay may have some errors/bugs not that i found any or anything wrong with the gameplay that in anyway bothered me. And for a fps/rpg/stealth hybrid the story is fantastic and while it is perhaps not the best story in a video game is still a very well written and told story with well written dialogue between npc`s. Some of the locations and environments you visit is done in a brilliant way. But there is three reasons this game shines and is for me the best game that i have ever probably played. For one the plot themes it takes is some of the best parts in the game, along with the freedom of choice, both in how you want to play and in choises with npc. You can play the game non lethal and lethally with one or two exploits you can complete the game without killing anyone and lastly the universe and how the characthers look and are is done in a magnificent way. Did i mention the music, the score is brilliant well done it helps in a very good way to immerse yourself in the world. This is one of the few games i have played that has pulled me so well into the world, into the characters and the locations.

So this is my first review, but i felt the time was right for me to start doing som reviews. First of all this is absolutely one of my favorite games if not my favourite game. Either this FF X, MGS 3 , Fallout 3, golden sun 2, fire emblem 7 or skyrim . But we are here to talk about ff vii Final fantasy viii put you in the shoes of Squall, and his desire to save the once he love **** Squall doenst love Rinoa at the start people might say he is a bit emo and doesnt care for anyone but as the game progresses it changes and his eventually get feelings for Rinoa. And their relationship is brilliant well written after my point of view. You have a very good cast in this game after my point of view ,perhaps not the best but certainly not bad either. i used around 82 hrs completing this game, w killing omega weapon and ultima weapon. The atmosphere are brilliant and the graphics looks good for being a game from 1999. The game play is turn based and good w a lot of options and takes actually som effort to become good at it. The opening is just magnificent and the endings is also very good. The music is superb, the character development is also very good especially for Squall and Rinoa. Cutescenes is overall gorgeous for its time. But what made this game so good for me is was the brilliant story , the good characters and that it actually handled time travel in a good and easy waym and i also felt the gameplay was good and fun when you got around the draw system. So do i really have any drawback on this game, well perhaps only game play if you have not played final fantasy or don`t pay attention during the little of tutorial you get , then u might easily have a hard time but , that is also one of the thing i think this game nailed perfect. The cast might not be better then ff vi, ff vii, or ix but is definitely not bad. So yeah it nailed the junction system is brick solid if you know how to use it. So yeah i give this a 10 simply because this game has it all. Good cast , good story, brilliant music, good atmosphere and good graphic for the time it was released , is there anything thing that i can say as a cons it is the moon scene.

Persona 3 fes Review This game is an absolute masterpiece. I heard it was a little like final fantasy in terms of turn based gameplay. My friend persuaded me and after a long discussion he gave me the last push to buy this game on psn , and I don’t regret for it for one second. This game is brilliant. When it comes to the story is very good and actually some of the twists I did not see coming. Your are a transfer student. And one every full moon you are going to face a boss as long as you level up in tartarus they shouldn’t be that hard, and you will keep on reminding yourself that the gameplay isn’t that bad. Yes, you cannot control your party members except from the main character but you can give them commands and if you learn to use it, they aren’t that bad. . You are going to use most of you time leveling up social links. And the social links are mostly very well done The atmosphere, the graphic design and music is absolutely phenomenal and the character development is magnificent. The ending is also very good.

So then there was my review of the last of us. Completed twice got on release date and i almost regret it. For me this game is overrated i cannot see how this got higher then 8,5 max . You play as Joel in a post apocalyptic universe. And you task is to escort a girl named Ellie trough the US and find the fireflies. For me the overall story is one of naughty dog worst stories. And i have played all three uncharted games and jak and daxter games and some Crash Bandicoot. The story is bad, the characters development is however one of the few good points in this game. The game play is solid and the atmosphere is good. But what makes this games so bad for me was 1) it did not feel like a survival game , you had always enough ammo if you simply searched around, and it definitely did not feel like a horror game, The genre is action-adventure survival horror , and while i in some extent agree with survival i dont agree with horror. The game is very short , took me not more then 12 hrs to complete if not less, and you have actually no point to play it through more then once certainly not more then twice. So for me the cons was replay-abilities and that it didnt live up to my expectations perhaps is was because that the genre it was meant to be, and Joel somehow reminds me of Nathan Drake. The game play didnt do somethings new and the ai was pretty predictable is most cases , so i fell i can max give it a 7.2
