Feels like im playing bg2 but with turn based instead of RTWP, alot of strategy involved in character building and turn based combat, game lives up to its predecessors by having a ton of landmass to explore with hidden quests and treasure in every corner of the map It lives up to the legacy of baldurs gate and stands at the top with games like kingmaker pathfinder and pillers of eternity, bravo!

Superb. Resounding success in my eyes, brings back all those feelings of old school jrpgs, great music, combat, and serviceable story, job system keeps you hooked as always trying to find that mixture of classes that suits your own playstyle -1 point only because the switch performance is pretty bad, regular hitches and slow downs during battle and on the world map

Bad combat with little to no input (hold down circle and do nothing else) besides throw a "grenade" spell every now and then, story makes no sense and is incomplete unless you watch animes and movies that cost money (that are terrible btw) This is what 10+ years of constant reimagining of a rpg will do, give you a inconsistent broken mess that pleases no one except the fanatical fanboy (but what doesnt please weird people like that?) As a real FF fan who grew up with the Final Fantasy series stay far away or rent the game if you are curious just how low this legendary franchise has fallen thanks to the industries obsession with trying to reimagine franchises and fix things that are not broken, 1 extra point for the cringe worthy banter that is only their to distract you from how bad the gameplay is

30 fps, 60 FOV, popins and a lacking in features indie game with a $60 price tag, the gameplay revolves around endless mineral collection so that you can craft more and more advanced technology for your ship to let you explore further in space, but the way you go about that is repetetive. Each Planet you explore feels like a similar planet youve been too only with a color swap, only very rarely seeing anything interesting, the game is far too easy and if you want a challenge in the game you have to make it hard yourself by giving yourself a handicap instead of the game properly challenging the player. The game can be fun for awhill for the most casual of gamer, but who exactly is Hello Games targeting on PS4 the console that has mostly modern and hardcore gamers? those types of players dont want a casual "relaxing" space sim they want a game that is rewarding and gives that feeling off accomplishment after you complete something difficult, NMS doesnt give that feeling at anytime in the game and it really just feels like you are wasting your time most of the time in the game with no payoff in sight, NMS needs alot of patches before the $60 pricetag can be justified

Its not as bad as everyone says, its not as good as everyone says, its a solid 7.5 , the graphics are the best thing going for it and the shooting/progression is good enough, but the story is forgetable cliche world ending stuff, and 20 hours in and have not found a story mission that was not a horde missions, they couldnt be assed to add any variety to the missions its just all go from point A to point B push button and wait for hordes of repetetive enemies to attack you then kill them all and do the next one Each planet feels very empty with only randomly spawning enemies to fill in the spaces, sometimes a random event will spawn but those can take up to 2 hours and end in roughly 2 minutes...there's no way to communicate with the other people unless they are in your fireteam, no squad commands or nothing, dont come on Destiny looking to make any friends or play cooperatively, communicating with other players was not a priority in Bungie's pseudo MMO multiplayer shooter We are still waiting for greatness, because Destiny just wasent it for me, we still have Bloodbourne but im still unimpressed by next gen

Another great roguelike that stands up to even the best of them like FTL and Rogue Legacy, only this time with a style like the snes era JRPGS of old, and with a unique side scrolling darkness of doom that keeps you moving from left to right or else you get eaten up by it if you take too long messing around in one of the mini dungeons, or get stuck inbetween too many mountains or bodies of water, I particularly like this one because of the nostalgic music that comes with it, it truely sounds like something out of a Chrono Trigger or a FF5 For less than $3 this game can give you many hours of replayability, and even has a little online feature that lets you see other players progress in the randomly generated world you are in (did i mention its randomly generated?) and if someone dies their ghost can end up in your world and theyll drop one of the items they had on them for you A really good game for the price, i wish more rogue likes were in the japanese style, i love it

The first 2 hours are a bit of a handholdy and linear affair, also its very light on the story for the first few hours of the game, but once the game gets rolling its easily on par with LoS1 if not better, the acting is great the boss fights are amazing and the combat feels more fluid than LoS1, the story starts to pick up later on and fans of castlevania will like the take on alucard, simon, and trevor belmont The dreaded stealth sections are not nearly as bad as the reviewers make it out to be, with some extremely basic logic can get you through most of them in a few minutes, something the mainstream reviewers seem to be sorely lacking (one of them claimed to take 4 hours to beat one of the stealth missions /**** its not that bad ) I honestly found the stealth sections required to break up some of the monotony of the combat, overall this is a really good sequal and hope mercury continues to make CV games, they are one of the few devs that can make competent reboots, a world of garbage like DMC reboot and FF13-29 lightning just doesnt die edition thats a very good quality to have

Not as bad as everyone says, the time limit makes you stratagies and plan, and the combat system is new and refreshing with a combination of action and active time based mechanics and done better than FF13 imo, the story is no better or worse than your typical rpg storyline {save the world, save loved ones, have moral delemas}. There's alot of returning characters and this time around they are not all carebears and roses, most of them want to kill each other because they made a bargain with god to save a loved one, something alot diffrent from original 13 where everyone is annoyingly positive and cheerful about the world ending, i find lightning returns a big step up from ff13 and -2 with a dash of originality in the mix, the soundtrack is also very good as it always is, not bad at all!

If you liked oldschool M&M games youll like this, if you however expect it to be a complete copy and clone of those games you will be dissapointed as the game is "modernized" to a certain degree (graphics/simpler skill interface) So far all the mainstream reviewers are critizising the game for "not revolutionizing or doing something new" i can only cringe and how idiotic "professional" reviewers can be when they review a game that is suppose to be a throw back to older grid based/turnbased RPGs and complain its not doing something vastly diffrent or copying Skyrim Im addicted to this game and thinking about playing it everyday, i havent had one mainstream game do that for me yet, so for that i give it a 9

Simply not good, unbalanced as usuall, nothing new, rehash, 12 players?....come on, even BO2 had more than that, IW is dead and jumped ship to Respawn to work on Titanfall, Titanfall is your next gen shooter, not COD Ghosts
