I've never really been a big fan of recent first person shooter games and very rarely will i truly enjoy one. I had a friend of mine let me borrow this game for about a week. After trying this game out, it still did not change my opinion of recent FPS games. The single player campaign was pretty bad, while the online multiplayer was a mess. The storyline was (in my opinion) filled with boring characters, and average set pieces (the Eiffel Tower faling down was good, i'll admit, but there were just too many explosions throughout the whole campaign) and dull, grey environments (I know it's a war game, but even the cities in which the story takes place in aren't grey and **** was just a forgettable campaign. The multiplayer was the worst experience I had with the game, since most of the games I had joined were either extremely laggy, filled with screaming little kids, or the game not letting me in the match at all. The maps were also really forgettable. Seeing that i'm not a big fan of recent FPS', this review might seem a bit biased. Honestly, if nearly all gaming magazines and websites didn't constantly advertise it, I would even say it was rushed. So thats my opinion, thats its just a forgettable, mediocre game.

Although this game might seem a bit "childish", it is still rather fun. The characters for the most part are very good, the track designs are very well done (Rouge's landing definitely the best race in my opinion), soundtrack for both the races and characters are good (Amy's voice annoy's the heck out of me though), the control's for land, boat and flying are all very tight, and split screen multiplayer is extremely fun. The online is alright at best, with the occasional lag. A few tiny issues i've experienced with this game are that the AI in offline mode are brutal, regardless of difficulty (which actually makes it **** me), and the (small) number of glitches. One example i've experienced a few times is the vehicle failing to transform, destroying the chance to finish the race entirely. I've had NiGHTS drive through a transform gate to a flying section, only to remain as a car, fall through the ground, and get restarted in the air section, STILL AS THE CAR. It would then repeat this until I had to quit the game. Despite these tiny issues, the game is still very fun.

BUY THIS GAME. It is one of the most under-rated games on the iPhone/iPad. With 32 diverse characters (not including the optional dlc versions of Kyo and Iori), fast paced gameplay, extremely easy controls and very good online and bluetooth connection (occasional lag here and there). The game is also challenging, while not being too difficult, yet not so easy it isn't fun. If you're a fighting game fan, wanting to try out a fighting game on an ios system, then buy this game. It game is definitely worth your money.

Positives: Very good graphics, great use of actual mountains, very good soundtrack (along with allowing user uploaded tracks to be remixed during the game), the world tour mode is a reasonably good story mode, large number of events (race, trick and survive) and ridernet is also a nice touch. Negatives: feels nothing like some of the original SSX titles (especially the original, tricky and 3), characters lack personality (both the riders and the helicopter pilots repeat the same lines over and over) and the lack of things which made the original games so fun to play (Tons of Fireworks, memorable levels, a DJ like in SSX 3 to name a few) Overall: Fun game with lots of variety, just missing what made the original games so great

Positives: Leon and Helena campaign feels like classic Resident Evil (more specifically Resident Evil 4), Some tense environments, Nice lighting effects (adds to the tension for some of the campaigns), The Interconnecting stories and very interesting campaign Negatives: the QTE (Quick time events) are very annoying, Jake and Sherry Campaign can be either very easy OR very hard, Chris and Piers campaign felt nothing like Resident Evil at all (feels more like a horrible third person shooter), some area's are too dark (zombies and environments blend in), weird camera and controls and horrible pacing. Overall: A could be good game with lots of flaws (the controls, camera and Chris and Piers campaign). Maybe an update fixing some of the issues would help make this a more enjoyable game.

Positives: Very fun, loads of customisation options for characters, gang members and vehicles, very funny dialogue between characters, the city (Steelport) is fun to explore, loads of side missions (although there could be more variety between them) and excellent main story. Negatives: The main story finishes too soon, DLC is a bit overpriced for the content in it and the endings could have been better. Overall: Very fun game with a good storyline, but some aspects of it could be better (such as the endings and the length of the main story)

Positives: Load's of Characters, Excellent stage's and music, fighting is fast and fluid, menu's are well presented and easy to follow, Fight Lab is a very good tutorial mode, FREE DLC (always a positive), Large amount of customisation options for any character, is a very polished and is very addictive. Negatives: Can be Difficult at times (especially the final boss Unknown) Overall: This is an excellent game for any Tekken fan or any fighting game fan. Possibly THE BEST fighting game of this year and maybe even in recent years.
