I think this game has both very good and bad sides. The story is good until its third act where it is VERY rushed. The story had a lot of great moments but also cringe ones because of its writing which at times could be much like what is in the newer Marvel movies. The traversal was fantastic though and the combat was also a lot of fun but very easy. Acting, graphics and music were all excellent but the open-world was pretty lacking and so were most of the side quests. Sometimes the facial animations weren’t the greatest either which was annoying and weird. Overall a great game but it’s held down by its writing and open-world.

A fantastic game. The combat systems is among my favorites beceause of the parrying which is super satisfying and something you realy have to rely on. It has a bit more of a narrative than for example Elden Ring which I thought was a good thing. It is a bit more streamlined interms of progression with skill trees and a lack of specific upgradeable stats but this helps stand out from the other souls games which I think is good. One thing I thought was not super good was the spirit emblem system. I thought it limited the use of all the cool skills in the game. One last thing is I don't think it is difficult as people say it is. For more at least the combat "clicked" relatively early on and then it wasn't that difficult. I was kinda expecting a really difficult final boss but I got him no joke in two tries which I really couldn't comprehend but it kind of proves my point. But it is still a fantastic game.

A charming coming of age story. The game has a stellar soundtrack and some very surrealist and unique levels to play but otherwise there was not a lot of gameplay. One thing that directly broke my immersion was that the main character would talk directly to you, and it made sense in the end, but it was weird for a lot of the game’s runtime. Otherwise a fine game with a decent range of emotions. You could both laugh and be touched by the game, though it was also a bit bland at times. The main problem with the game is that it is getting WAY too positive reviews by critics. It is not a 10/10 masterpiece which is completely okay, but calling it one is not.

The game is a really good and fun fps. Gun gameplay and movement are fluid and great to play. The levels in the campaign are also REALLY well designed and thought out. Here’s hoping for a Titanfall 3.

I absolutely love this game. It fixes all of my problems with the first game. That primarily being graphics, technical issues and the game being very clunky. But in KCD2 that is all gone. What is left is a FANTASTIC rpg. Realistic and immersive all set in a historically accurate world. The amount of research Warhorse did is simply baffling. All the various immersive systems might scare a lot of people off, but this game knows its audience and the people who are into that kind of systems (like I am) will love it. The combat is also really unique and once you get the hang of it, it's something special. The good thing about it is that you have to seek out people who will teach you it and you have to train yourself, so when you get good at it, it feels really earned. The open-world is also really good: It feels alive and it is packed with little small details and many deep quests. Lastly: The story. It is a big step-up from the first game. It is more epic and features great characters and great writing. I really enjoyed the way it wove the themes of revenge and the nature of war into the game. It did it in a way, so that it was not too on the nose, which was very nice. The rpg-elements are also very good. It has a well-thought out effect on the narrative and on the gameplay side it was also very good. You could really play it the way you wanted to. It is hard for me to decide between this and Expedition 33 for GOTY 2025, because they are both masterpieces in completely different ways.

I think the story about a young Kratos and a young Deimos is really good, and it shines a light on a Kratos we haven't really seen before. The music also slaps (it's Bear McCreary, what did you expect?), but I think the gameplay is what is holding this back. It is pretty repetitive and the metroidvania aspects of the game aren't that interesting, which is a shame. Overall I still like the game, beacuse I love GOW, but I probably won't play this game again unlike the other GOW games.

I love rpgs. This has a great world, a good story and really unique, immersive gameplay. With that being said it is from a technical standpoint and just a normal standpoint very rough around the edges. With that being said I still love the game because I like immersive games and worlds, but I find it difficult to give it more than a seven because of the technical aspects. It is also difficult to recommend to people unless they know they like immersive games. For example if you loved RDR2 because of its immersion, you'll love this game.

I thought I wouldn’t like the gameplay, because it was turnbased, but oh God was I wrong. The gameplay is absolutely fantastic. The parries in this game are REALLY satisfying. And probably the highlight of the game: the story. The story in this game is unbelievable. Amazing characters, full of emotional moments and twists and turns you never saw coming. You really can’t put it down. And lastly the music is GOD tier. Like absolutely GOD tier. One of the best video game OST’s I’ve heard. The art direction also gives the game a compelling and unique look. It is hard for me to decide between this and Expedition 33 for GOTY 2025, because they are both masterpieces in completely different ways.

Simply just pure joy in form of a video game. The references to other PlayStation characters are also fantastic. People say Astro Bot will be the new PlayStation mascot and I’m all for it.
