Mom Hid My Game!10
Dec 22, 2017
This should have won GOTY. I mean, look at the graphics! The developers must have taken two hours to make this game! It's simply amazing.

Overcooked!10
Aug 11, 2017
This is a great Switch couch co-op game. If you are not a die-hard PC 60 fps elitist, you will find the gameplay good while trying to remember that gameplay is more important than graphics. The game has a lot of replayability value and is a game to surely make you laugh.

Has-Been Heroes5
Aug 8, 2017
The concept of this game is all well and good, but the execution is baffling. The difficulty spike is way too hard for any reasonable person to grasp. Anyone playing this needs to spend good, long hours trying to master the controls of this game to barely get past the first level of the game. If you say that games on the Nintendo Switch are too easy, pick this game up. If not, try looking for a more forgiving roguelike game like Tumbleseed.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U10
Aug 4, 2017
This is the reason to get the Wii U. The cast of characters is amazing and DLC and the modded community makes the game have hundreds of unique characters. The gameplay is flawless and beautiful with amazing remixes. The local multiplayer is some of the best in gaming history, which makes Smash Bros. very well-known. The singleplayer also has many different modes to test your skills. This game was one of the first to use amiibos and uses them perfectly. This game must be bought if you own a Wii U.

Paper Mario: Color Splash6
Aug 4, 2017
This is a good step forward for Paper Mario, but Nintendo needs to run a 100m race to catch up with what they did previously. The presentation of the game is good, which should be expected for a Paper Mario. The game doesn't really have a story and there are practically no original characters other than Huey. I didn't find the battle system that convoluted, but I get where people are coming from. I say that we wait for the Nintendo Switch to fix what happened with Sticker Star and this game.

Minecraft8
Aug 4, 2017
This is the definitive version of the hit game Minecraft. It takes the depth of the Xbox and PlayStation versions and brings it on the go. This doesn't sacrifice controls or features like Minecraft: Pocket Edition. The game runs smoothly at 60 fps and has a multitude of texture packs bundled with the purchase. It has local multiplayer and a PVP online mode. For any people who skipped the Xbox and PlayStation versions, this is for you.

1-2-Switch4
Aug 4, 2017
1-2 Switch is one of the games that makes you scratch your head at the lack of depth of the games included. Included are 28 micro-games that you play once and get bored of every time you play them again. The other downfall of this game is the price. It is mind-boggling to sell this as a full-price game when in reality it should be bundled with the console. I would recommend to look for a better Switch multiplayer game like Snipperclips or Overcooked and steer clear for this abomination.

ARMS9
Aug 4, 2017
Arms is a great fighting game for everyone to pick up and play. The motion controls in this game are top-notch, even beating standard button controls in high-level play. The characters in the game are very well-made and varied and have their own unique play style. The ability to get every single arm on every fighter allows for a surprising amount of depth and strategy, which is valued in a fighting game. The online experience is amazing and a number of different modes keeps the gameplay interesting. Arms is a great game for the Nintendo Switch and is worth picking up.

Snipperclips - Cut it out, together!9
Aug 4, 2017
This is a hidden gem of Switch multiplayer. This game proves that you don't need realistic 4K graphics to have a fun game. The hand-crafted 2D style of the game gives it the same charm that the original Paper Mario games had. The levels are unique the first you go through them but have no replayability factor. This game is a blast to play with friends and creates a great feeling of satisfaction once you conquer that seemingly impossible level. This game promotes cooperative gameplay as well as competitive gameplay in other modes. For its low asking price, Snipperclips is a great game to play with friends

Puyo Puyo Tetris8
Aug 4, 2017
This game is a great entry into the puzzle genre for the Nintendo Switch. It executes the idea of joining the most iconic puzzle franchises really well. The game includes a single player campaign, which focuses more on the challenge side rather than the story. The arcade is really where Puyo Puyo Tetris shines. It has 5 unique modes that can be played with up to 4 people. It also 6 single player modes to challenge even the most seasoned puzzle veterans. The presentation of the game is top-notch and the music is good. One downside is that the character voices are a bit annoying but can be easily turned off. Puyo Puyo Tetris is a great game for on the go fun and challenging friends.

Graceful Explosion Machine9
Aug 4, 2017
Graceful Explosion Machine is one of the games of the Switch that is worth buying at a low cost. The art direction is amazing, featuring simplistic graphics and a multitude of different enemy types. The controls are tight, which is good for a game that constantly has enemies with different strengths and weaknesses coming after you. The gameplay is very addictive and challenging and is best played in short bursts. In a recent update, when a level is finished, the game shows you your best stats and a highlight for you to screenshot. This is the game for anyone looking for an SHUMP on the Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Aug 4, 2017
This is one of the best video games of all time, with no exaggeration. Just about everything in the game is polished to perfection. The game looks absolutely stunning and it has a great soundtrack, which the Zelda series always had. The gameplay is absolutely flawless with a variety of weapons, armor, and bows to pick from. The shrines in this game offer mini-puzzels which offer the player with a diversion and a way to get more treasure. The dungeons all offer their own unique puzzles and backstories, but the Vah Ruta Divine Beast was the most memorable. The game is also massive, in scope and in a number of achievable goals. This proves that Nintendo has a way to keep their old IPs new and interesting. Anyone who has a Switch must have or already has this spectacular game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe10
Aug 4, 2017
This is the definitive version of the Mario Kart racing game franchise. Smooth 1080p graphics when docked and always keeping a solid 60fps. The number of tracks, kart combinations, and characters in this game make it the biggest and best Mario Kart to date. The battle mode is finally fixed, bringing five unique and returning modes to spice up the variety. The online connection is reliable and I didn't have any lag in my hours of playtime. Overall, everyone who owns a Nintendo Switch should get this game.

Splatoon 210
Aug 1, 2017
Splatoon 2 is one of the must-haves of the switch. Nearly every shortcoming of the original is fixed in this sequel. The gameplay is smooth, running at a solid 60fps. The visuals are stunning and the soundtrack is also great. The new Salmon Run mode is a nice addition for hardcore fans, but it's a shame that it's only open on certain days. The single player campaign is a nice diversion, showing how each weapon type can be used. Overall, I say that you should get this game if you have a Nintendo Switch.
