I don’t think this expansion deserves the rave critic reviews. It’s just OK compared to others. My biggest gripe is the number of bugs it introduced. From future Cubes, clay balls, white cake, and the worst feature bug ever - the dredded “sharing is caring” NAP that destroys hard-built builds permanently and kills gameplay. I think critics play for a few hours In the one world and love the pack, but play a little linger and sharing is caring will destroy the game. The only way to fix it is to know how to Employ the cheats to remove the NAP from every neighborhood in the game!

Feeling generous, giving two points. The game pack really missed the mark on a couple Of fronts, contributing to Simmers ranking this game pack as abysmally as it is. Yes Batuu the world looks lovely and details will immerse you... until you try to interact with the world in any way. The pack only focuses on missions. Nice to complete missions for either the rebels or the first order, but your choices on Batuu have no meaning back at “home worlds.”. The droids are useable on Batuu for missions, but back home they are basically beeping radios. There is no force. Lightsabers are just for fun to “duel” but basically are meaningless. I don’t mind that the aliens are all just masked Sims, and I’m happy that they managed to keep. Study aliens and NOC townies separated but there are no lots to build on. Huge missed opportunity, was to have buildable lots so simmers could build a Batuu/ Star Wars themed bar, restaurant, spa, museum, pool or etc type of venue that would keep players visiting and coming back to Batuu. Once you play a few missions, you are done with the pack. And frankly the missions aren’t THAT fun. They are ok. Only buy this pack if you love Star Wars and it’s on sale.
