Keeping Up with the Joneses2
Oct 24, 2016
I found this film to be utterly unbearable. The attempts at humor are some of the most embarrassing and cringe worthy i have ever seen. The plot is ridden with cliches and gross out comedy tropes, the acting and comedic delivery were completely off. No energy or sense of character. In short this film is just another board executive approved piece of garbage that has nothing original or interesting to add to the genre.

Suicide Squad7
Aug 8, 2016
Suicide Squad is not a perfect film, but none the less a fun one. The cast all have great chemistry and give fantastic performances, i was also very impressed with how funny the humor and back and forth banter. Jared Leto was very confronting and intense as the joker, and the action was well put together and most of all entertaining. The films plot however is really muddled at times, a lot of this due to the sheer amount of footage that was so blatantly cut out of this movie. Some characters do not receive the amount of focus they deserved. The villain of the film (Of which i will not spoil) was extremely bland and had barely any screen time to have an impact. The film also had multiple strange and sloppily edited sequences. All in all not a perfect film but entertaining and funny. 7/10

Happy Gilmore8
May 28, 2016
In my opinion Happy Gilmore is one of the best comedies of all time as almost every joke in this film is pure quotable gold, I also love Ben Stiller's role in this film as the senior citizens home caretaker he is just so brutal hahahaha

X-Men: Apocalypse8
May 28, 2016
n overly apocalyptic continuation of the X-Men franchise shines with its quick story and visual glamour – but a cliché-ish villain, underdeveloped characters & not that many surprises is a bad fact. The dust has settled from “Days of Future Past”, and for many that might even be the best in the series. “X-Men: Apocalypse” might not surpass DoFP, but it’s still a fine film – for some. The focus is heavily on Magneto & Charles; meanwhile smaller characters are easily left out – development nor inside to them are neither presented in an acceptable amount. Our antagonist is a classic villain from the past but where’s the drama? Where’s the depth? Where’s the understanding? All he gives is destruction. But with destruction comes action; and Brian Singer once again shines with his direction, and Quicksilver. It’s an entertaining film with some clever humor here and there, but it’s not more than that. The plot is acceptable but it doesn’t really feel like an X-Men film. The focus is much more on the plot rather than on the characters — and the objective could have been much better presented; there isn’t a strong want-to for the success of our heroes. A somewhat predictable story and a lack of creativeness is another aspect. But it’s still an enjoyable ride into the world of our beloved heroes – even though the majority are very underdeveloped. It’s no fair comparison against DoFP, and it’s not a bad movie – but not exemplary either.

Captain America: Civil War7
May 12, 2016
an amazingly well put together film with brilliantly executed action sequences, in depth character development and intense amounts of conflict. 10/10.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith7
Mar 26, 2016
Revenge Of The Sith is a good film unlike its predecessors it has characters that feel as if they are human and the tragedy that befalls them is truly enthralling, the action in this film is some of the best of the series with some truly epic set pieces and choreography, the movie does improve upon the dialogue from the previous two films but still has its moments of awkwardness in the writing and delivery of such dialogue and for the most part The Emperor's plan to overthrow the Jedi is littered with a multitude of illogical decisions and plot holes.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice7
Mar 26, 2016
Batman Vs Superman Dawn Of Justice is one of the most perplexing films I have seen in my life there is a lot to enjoy here such as the brilliant performances From all of the cast as they all bring their own personal touch to their role especially Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, The movie also boasts an interesting storyline bringing up such question's as "Is superman a saviour or only causing as much destruction as those he is trying to protect us from" the film also has some of the most creative visuals and action sequences seen on the big screen in quite some time but unfortunately the film suffers from severe pacing issues scrambling through a multitude of character arcs, plot points and set up for sequels that the film had great trouble balancing which in turn made the film clustered and didn't leave much room for the characters to develop over the course of the film because of how many things it was trying to focus on at once. Overall I had some fun with the film but has much room for improvement

The Brothers Grimsby5
Mar 26, 2016
While "Grimsby" does have it's moments of hilarity unfortunately they were very few and far between and not because of a lack of jokes but because a vast majority of them were not all that funny, the action sequences were also filmed like ****

10 Cloverfield Lane10
Mar 14, 2016
one of the decade's best films "10 Clover-field Lane" is a non stop tension filled film with well written characters and fast paced storytelling. A must see 10/10

Halloween III: Season of the Witch3
Jan 28, 2016
What pile of hot garbage an overtly weird film with an extremely annoying and uninteresting plot that makes literally no sense, the characters were no where near as like-able as Laurie Strode or Dr.Loomis, the soundtrack is horribly over stylized and messily chopped together to the point where i want to stab myself i the ear. i know a lot of people complain Michael isn't in this one so i wont elaborate to much but why did the filmmakers think that this the direction that the audience would want this franchise to go in.3/10

Halloween II7
Jan 28, 2016
While i do think that this film should have taken more of the same pacing and direction from the previous film, Halloween II still remains a rather good slasher film even if it is taking a more Friday The 13th approach as the film does still have its rather intense sequences and creepy musical score. now some people don't really like how Michael became much more savage and rage filled when he murdered somebody in this film but i personally thought it was a good progression for his character he was tired of running around and chasing after Laurie so in turn his lust for her blood increased which made him extremely intimidating.7/10
Jan 28, 2016
Halloween10
Jan 28, 2016
Halloween is my favorite slasher film of all time purely for it's masterful execution in being extremely scary and intense to the point where i find myself gripping the couch that i am sitting on, the reason for this is because the filmmakers knew that slowly building suspense before Michael murders his victims will always keep the audience on edge, the intensity and suspense was also elevated by the films fantastically creepy musical score and cinematography. 10/10 a masterpiece in horror.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens8
Dec 18, 2015
The Force Awakens is a fantastic film everything you see in the film is star wars bringing the universe to life in a brand new direction and visual representation, I loved the new and old characters in this film they all had such natural chemistry in their interactions they were also very well developed with interesting backstories, the story in this film is very reminiscent of a new hope in many ways but still brings new ideas and twists to the table and was a very good setup to a three part story, the practical and special effects melded well together giving the film a more realistic aesthetic (Like the original trilogy) the action sequences were also very well choreographed and crafted with much excitement and lastly Kylo Ren was an amazing villain with a presence so magnetic that I felt fear for any of the characters that came in contact with him he was also very sympathetic I understood why he thought the actions he took were the right thing which is what you need to make a great villain. The Force Awakens does have a few minor details that could have been done better . There was no explanation has to how Poe got out of the sinking sand . Captain Phasma was unexplored and underused . star killer was basically the death star just much larger but other than that it was great.

Creed10
Dec 16, 2015
I'm a massive rocky fan and when I went and saw this film last week I was absolutely flabbergasted to find that this was one of the best films I've seen in my entire life the characters were incredibly real and developed to the point where I forgot I was watching a film, the boxing sequences were extremely well crafted and filmed and was very tense. 10/10

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones4
Dec 9, 2015
Attack of the clones is the second installment in the star wars prequel trilogy saga, I will start off by saying that attack of the clones could have been a could have been a fantastic movie it just needed a few tweaks for example if the relationship between Anakin and Padme was not written so awkwardly, if they didn't write Anakin like such a brat and if they had have put a bit more focus on the character building and we also could have used a lot more of Obi Wan Kenobi as he is the best character in the prequels, it could have been great, but that's not to say AOTC is terrible the action sequences are a lot of fun to watch and are well crafted, Ewan McGregor is brilliant as Obi Wan giving a lot of wit, sarcasm and bad assitude to the character and not to mention the movie has beautifully conceived landscapes and cinematography. Verdict: Attack of the clones is aesthetically pleasing as it does have some great action sequences and cinematography and obi wan's sarcastic humour is very well written but the characters and story are nowhere near as fleshed out as I would have liked them to have been.

Rocky V6
Nov 17, 2015
The first half of Rocky V is genuinely well written and has some great emotional and dialogue sequences but the second half takes a left turn and becomes completely outrageous and a little to stupid the ending street fight is great though.
Nov 17, 2015
Rocky Balboa8
Nov 17, 2015
Rocky Balboa is a great send off to the series delivering on some great acting and scenes filled fantastic dialogue and emotion and is one of the best in the series as always the end fight is as always brilliantly executed and has a lot of tension and is awe inspiring my only problem with the film is that the villain of the film "Dixon" wasn't as intimidating and threatening as i would have liked him to be.
Nov 7, 2015
SPECTRE7
Nov 7, 2015
Spectre is the latest adventure in the ongoing Daniel Craig bond series that surprisingly does a throwback to the more hokey Roger Moore films giving us a movie that is more centred around the explosions, cars and beautiful women and it certainly makes for a fun time at the movies that's not to say the movie doesn't have its moments in the narrative aspect as the dialogue is very well written, the villain is menacing and the two leads are likable. but spectre's story is very disjointed in parts and is lacking the tension casino royale and skyfall had, also some scenes in the film can be a little uninteresting at times. none the less still an enjoyable instalment.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse4
Nov 1, 2015
Despite having some brief fun moments here and there Scouts guide to the apocalypse is a largely unfunny and boring affair with little fun unlike what was promised in the trailer.
Nov 1, 2015
Mortal Kombat6
Nov 1, 2015
As a fan of the video game series i enjoyed it, it had the characters down pat along with some really good fight sequences but as a film it is by no means "great" the story is quite hollow and the characters while having their mannerisms done correctly they were pretty underdeveloped.
Nov 1, 2015
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation1
Nov 1, 2015
Mortal Kombat Annihilation is embarrassingly awful with some of the most amateur acting, special effects, dialogue and plot ( that is also filled with inconsistencies.) the only thing positive i can mention is that the film has a good soundtrack other than that it is one of the worst films i have ever seen.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension3
Oct 25, 2015
The Ghost Dimension is largely devoid of any genuine scares it is all loud noises accompanied for by **** cgi imagery, the characters are also some of the dumbest ever conceived.

Oct 15, 2015
Interstellar9
Oct 15, 2015
Interstellar is one of Christopher Nolan's best films it is a gripping and intriguing look at space exploration with breathtaking special effects and cinematography, the characters are well thought out and likable, the story is of course very good but can get a little fractured at times the ending also doesn't really have the emotional punch i was looking for but none the less interstellar is fantastic.
Oct 15, 2015
Gravity8
Oct 15, 2015
Gravity is a fantastic film with visuals that your eyes will feast upon, special effects never seen so good in a film and has some of the most tension filled moments in film my only problem with the film is that sandra bullocks character felt so "movie" if that makes any sense her entire backstory is so cheesy and cliche its hard to take seriously.
Oct 7, 2015
The Bourne Identity8
Oct 7, 2015
the bourne identity is a tremendous film with suspense, action and a gripping story to take you on a thrill ride of fun and brilliant film-making the film also has in my opinion Matt Damon's best performance yet my only flaw with this film is that the plot can get a tad convoluted at times.
Oct 7, 2015
Boyz n the Hood10
Oct 7, 2015

Oct 3, 2015
Scream 47
Oct 3, 2015
Scre4m is a solid entry in the scream film franchise with some nifty moments of suspense and great humour this time around scream 4 does not really take itself to seriously which is good at times and bad at others for example when thy have a truly effective scary moment it will all be undone by a silly one liner. but all in all its a good movie that I would check out if you are a fan of the previous films.
Sep 24, 2015
The Visit5
Sep 24, 2015
while the visit might be good for some light entertainment on a rainy day it is not scary at all and when it tries to be funny the jokes fall completely flat but funnily enough the stuff that was supposed to be scary actually turned out to be unintentionally hilarious.
Sep 11, 2015
Freddy vs. Jason5
Sep 11, 2015
some cool moments between Freddy and Jason but i feel the film really decided to take itself away from that and goes into your typical slasher flick with pretty much no other substance also some of the acting was less than stellar.
Sep 10, 2015
Ant-Man8
Sep 10, 2015
Ant man is a great addition to the marvel cinematic universe delivering on an interesting plot with characters that are likeable and have some great back and forth banter, the action in the film is also extremely unique seeing it is shown from the perspective of ant sized man offering fresh and new action in turn despite having a poorly written villain and some clichéd moments.
Sep 10, 2015
Devil6
Sep 10, 2015
Despite having some interesting ideas by the half way mark the tension is gone and it becomes extremely tedious and repetitive even if the film did have some scary moments.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope10
Sep 9, 2015
A new hope is a fantastic science fiction film with a story that resembles that of greek mythology but brings it in the most exciting of ways with great characters and dialogue moments between eachother and the cherry on top is the groundbreaking special effects and action sequences.
Sep 6, 2015
Alice in Wonderland4
Sep 6, 2015
This re boot of alice in wonderland is so unnecessary turning a fun story into a boring war filled political thriller with no soul and no sense of enjoyment.
Sep 6, 2015
The Babadook10
Sep 6, 2015
The Babadook is a very scary film with terrifying imagery along with fantastic and scary performance from Essie Davis the film also has underlying themes of depression that is very subtle and is worth a second watch to notice all of the hints given. The Babadook is up there with likes of the shining and the exorcist 10/10.
Sep 4, 2015
Sinister7
Sep 4, 2015
Sinister is a very good horror film that uses scary imagery and heart wrenching suspense to scare the audience despite having a relatively familiar plot and characters.
Sep 4, 2015
Sinister 24
Sep 4, 2015
despite having some interesting ideas sinister 2 is a very non scary horror film that is a complete copy of of the first film and is clearly just repeating stuff in the first film that people liked but in this sequel none of these things have a purpose in this sequel.
Sep 4, 2015
The Transporter Refueled1
Sep 4, 2015
Transporter Refueled is horrible the plot is convoluted, the dialogue is poorly written and the acting is sub par not to mention most not all of the stunt choreography is just terrible only thing positive i can say is the cinematography was impressive but even if you film a piece of **** with good lighting and camera work its still a piece of ****

Sep 3, 2015
Transformers: Age Of Extinction6
Sep 3, 2015
In my opinion this is the best transformers sequel and is the only transformers sequel that doesn't **** it just isn't very good its got some good characters such as Stanley tucci as the head of ksi and Kelsey grammar playing a pretty damn good villain another good villain is deadlock and even has some inventive action sequences such as the dinobots but of course the film is weighed down by a poor script and characterization along with even more boring government conspiracy dialogue from the last film.
