The 9 year wait is over... and it was worth it. Like seriously, you know you have something truly special here when it manages to surpass Persona 4 in almost every way possible. This is possibly the best JRPG to come out in the last decade and I know this game will be remembered as one of the high points of the genre. This is a must-buy for any Persona and/or JRPG fan or person that is willing to get invested in an awesome story, great gameplay and style, because this game has plenty.

I'm a big fan of the Shantae series. Got this on launch day and was not disappointed. Gameplay wise, It plays the best out of all the game in my opinion. The transformations are smooth and cool, and the classic hair-whipping is still there, and it's still satisfying. This game plays more like a traditional platformer as opposed to other games, which may be a positive or negative for some. This does make backtracking a little boring at times, but the game isn't long enough to the point that it would be much of a hassle. Overall, great game.

Final Fantasy XV has come a long way... and I can assure you I'm not simply jumping on the bandwagon when I say it was worth the wait. While it first glance it definitely doesn't look or feel like a Final Fantasy game in the traditional sense, this game is breaking new grounds for the franchise and honestly I'm just happy that it is way better than XIII. This is a must buy if you are a long time Final Fantasy veteran or an RPG fan that has yet to try a Final Fantasy title.

(This was my first Killzone game) I found the gunplay and the multiplayer to be really solid. Movement can be a bit slow, but otherwise, the gameplay handles pretty well. As a launch title for PS4, it was a pretty good one and the campaign was actually pretty decent. The plot was interesting and it has a decent replay value. Of course, the multiplayer s the most important aspect, and going back to that, it's pretty fun and overall a good FPS game.

I will admit, the Lionheart Edition caught my eye and so I bought this game on a whim, though I had heard good things about the Legend of Heroes series, so I figured I might as well give this game a go. I cannot say how long it has been since a game has hooked me on its lore and storyline. It may be pretty cliche at times, having similar story structure to Final Fantasy Type-0, but the (mostly) likeable characters, great battle system and vast amount of content make this game shine. Going for the platinum on this is was not much of a hassle because of how enjoyable it is. 10/10

To start, yes, the remaster could have been better, in terms of improving visual aesthetics. However, for anyone who has not played the original Vita version, this is a great buy. Solid 60 FPS makes the game combat much less tedious in terms of timing and learning enemy patterns, and the combat in general has been tweaked to better improve on the Vita's bothersome touchscreen combat. This is one of Sony's most creative games in recent memory. Can't wait for Gravity Rush 2!

I played the original Shantae and Risky's Revenge on PC, and so far this is the best Shantae game. While it still retains the same old-school sprite graphics (which may look a little iffy to some on a big TV screen) it still doesn't mean the game holds up gameplay-wise, and I for one still enjoy it's sprite-based charm. The story, while cliché, is still loaded with plenty of humor and quirks and is overall a great platformer.

The transition to PS4 didn't do much in terms of new gameplay mechanics and amazing graphics, and that's understandable given the type of game this is. That said, Nep VII is definitely the contender for the best Neptunia game so far. The most unique aspect of this game is how it is divided into 3 branches, each serving as its own "game" per say. But, if you just appreciate it for what it is, then it is a very enjoyable game. Of course, most people will buy this for the eye candy, but the game has its various other charms and can sometimes get addicting as you try to collect all the swimsuits (though it will also get tedious as you go for the Platinum). If you are not familiar with the series, but want to try it out, I suggest you start with Burst and Shinovi Versus (if you have the corresponding consoles), to fill in plot points... and also because they are fun as well. Visual novels are certainly a guilty pleasure of mine from time to time, but this was my first otome game I actually played. From a storytelling perspective, the plot is actually quite interesting, mixing in a steampunk/19th century setting. The story, while cliched at times, does well in entertaining you until the very end, which is mostly due to the extremely likeable cast of characters and sometimes silly dialogue. The main character, Cardia, has some pretty deep character development, which isn't typical of other otome games. Also, the art is beautiful so that's a plus. I bought this on a whim, seeing as it was developed by Nippon Ichi Software, the people responsible for the Disgaea franchise. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The game plays much like Diablo, as it a top-down action RPG with a loot/reward system. The fighting mechanics can gt a bit repetitive later on, but the game's fun exploration and extra quests make it an overall enjoyable experience. The humor is especially funny, but dark. Honestly, I wonder how this didn't get an "M" rating. Within 2 hours, I heard the "F" and "S" word at least 15 times each. There are also a lot of sexual jokes and remarks. Point is, if you are not a fan of dark, crude humor, this isn't for you. I for one, found it to be really funny and overall the game is a nice hidden gem for PS4 owners. There's not much to go back to if you already played the original on PS3, unless you want to play a version without all those bothersome bugs and glitches. Aside from that, anyone looking for a niche RPG or a game with dark humor, this is for you.

Keep in mind, that as of the time of this review I have not played any other Wolfenstein game, including the much-remembered Wolfenstein 3D. Starting off with the gameplay, it handles fairly well for an old-school style FPS and the gunplay can often get frantic. My one minor complaint is that the game is fairly easy and even on the hardest difficulty I found it to be more on par with what I expect from Normal difficulty, sprinkled in with some harder sections in between. Moving on to the story, it's fantastic. Excellent pacing and intriguing dialogue, and even the inclusion of a moral choice near the beginning of the game somewhat alters the story, which gives it some replay value if you are really invested in the characters. In terms of content, Lost Song doesn't have as much to offer as Hollow Fragment (Which also means a smaller world than Aincrad). But where Lost Song lacks in content, it makes up in other things. For one, graphics have been significantly improved. Movement is much more fluid and the game doesn't suffer from some of the lag issues present in the previous game. The best part of the game is that you can now play as any character. (Sinon... Silica... Argo... Yes... Just yes) The story is pretty good and the dialogue offers some witty humor at times. The battle mechanics are a bit more polished, as there is not a ton of stuff cluttering the screen and again... No lag. The most annoying part of the game are fighting aerial battles, which can be disorienting (I guess they were trying to make it realistic, hehe) Overall, it's a great game for SAO fans, and if you enjoyed Hollow Fragment, then you will certainly enjoy this one.

Many of the environments look like an HD PS2 game, which for me, doesn't really matter much, since I find gameplay much more important. The story is, sub-par. The most annoying thing about the game is how slow you walk, but this only becomes pretty tedious if you're replaying the game to pick up missing trophies or story events you missed. Unlike the original Corpse Party, BoS plays more like a visual novel, with some occasional point-and-click first-person exploration. Overall, I recommend it only if you were a big fan of the first game, as it is not a direct sequel, and more of alternate scenarios playing out before, during and after the events of the first game. So, unless you are very familiar with the original game, you will be very confused. This game made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There's something about killing teddy bears that makes me feel mentally violated. This is basically a mini-GTA style game with teddy bears. It's stupid. The gameplay is stupid. The best part about the game was getting to run around as a teddy bear (hence the 1 point). I'm sure many childhood dreams came true when this game was first played... and then crushed 5 minutes later. It's just bad. So bad.

When compared to other rhythm games like the Hatsune Miku Diva series, the game play here is more basic. There are less buttons required to press and the difficulty is not as crazy on the harder levels, but there is still a great challenge to be had here. That said, the music tracks are great, just like any Persona game, and the story mode adds another layer to the mix, serving as a 'What-if' sequel to Persona 4. It's a nice distraction if you are a fan of visual novels and you enjoyed Persona 4. Of course, the main reason for buying this is the rhythm game, which as I said, is pretty good overall, and the amount of customization for characters is pretty neat as well. #Riseisbae

Like with any Neptunia spin-off, you won't get a very meaningful story here, but like with any Neptunia game, there is a lot of humor to giggle at here. Gameplay-wise, this is very similar to Senran Kagura. You go around beating up waves of enemies, completing quests along the way. There's not really much else to say. It's simple, mindless, beat-em up fun. Of course, after a while it does get kind of tedious, but mostly if you're trying to get the platinum, which requires many, MANY, clean-up fights. All in all, if you are looking for a silly pastime on Vita, or if you are a fan of Senran Kagura and/or Neptunia games, give this one a try.

I am a **** for indie titles, and I probably would have gotten this on Steam eventually... But due to PS Plus, I got this game for free on PS4. Now, don't get me wrong, the game is pretty creative and has a lot of humor. I just didn't feel very satisfied while playing through it. First of all, the time-rewind mechanic kind of slows down the action. Yes, I get that the whole premise of this title is the time travelling gimmick... But, I just think they could have executed this better, without slowing down the gun n' run gameplay. Aside from that though, the game does offer plenty of levels and a pretty sizable roster of characters, which you unlock along the way. This is actually a great game for speedrunners, and does provide a fair bit of challenge at some points. 7/10
