I found the game fun for about 2 weeks and then grew tired of it. Definitely not worth a monthly fee to play. Then I found out that the disks are locked to a single console so I can't even trade it in. Boo! The load screens are many, often, and overly long. Once you get your speed bonus (lvl9 I think) you can travel faster than the game can draw and you end up looking at chunky blocks of scenery that would be buildings if only you would stop for a moment to let the poor thing catch up. Combat and missions are repetitive, once you've completed your first 2 or 3 missions you've pretty much seen everything the game has to offer. Huge disappointment for me all around.

I haven't had this much simple pure fun playing a game in a long time. People complain about the language, but you can turn on a filter if you don't want to hear it. It didn't bother me at all. The weapons are cool, the leash and whole "kill with skill" idea is great to experiment with. "Echoes" - an arcade mode where you play for points through sections of the main campaign is lots of fun as well. It keeps me going back for more. The only complaint I have about the game is that I can't seem to get into online multiplayer - I made it in once or twice, but that was it.

I am loving this game. Sure the campaign is short and extremely scripted, but that doesn't make it any less fun (for me at least) to play while it lasts. It's not significantly shorter or more scripted than CodBlops and I care more about the story line and characters here than the garbage in Cod. Where the game really shines is in multiplayer. Launch week "Servers overloaded" growing pains aside, I've had no problems getting into games. The maps are huge, the in game battle points system is great and makes the matches very dynamic. As a side note - dear god people...turn off your friggin' headsets if you're not talking to other players on the team. I don't need to hear your wife yelling at you to turn of the console, or your kids screaming in the background...I certainly don't give a crap what music you're listening to while you play :(

I found the single player experience to be more frustrating than fun - cheap deaths, boring cut scenes (by the third or so I skipped the rest entirely), enemies popping up from areas that have been previously cleared out. Online play is fun but ultimately not worth playing for very long. It doesn't take much to max out your weapons/extras and then there's nothing else to shoot for. I find myself going back to COD because even at the higher levels there are still more weapons to unlock, perks to go pro, and challenges to complete. Once you hit level 20 or thereabouts, there's nothing to shoot for here outside of playing the same few maps over and over with the same tactic each time as the loadouts are very limited. Most frustrating for me is the lack of team play (rare in any online game I guess) - I typically played as a medic, but nobody sticks around at death long enough to be healed - they just hit the respawn button the second it comes up. It might help if they added an in game notification to tell you if there is a medic nearby, or if your team consists of nothing but snipers so you might as well not wait.
