Miscast, misdirected, aimless, pointless attempt to modernize a classic story. By itself this movie wouldn’t ruffle many feathers but add it to all the other similar efforts that try to. force unpopular political and social choices on their audiences The Odyssey evokes a response of frustration from viewers who, quite frankly, are tired of Hollywood taking their audiences for granted.

Waste of time. The characters are weak. The different points of view on the event fall short and are repetitive and the plot is riddled with false choices.
