An underrated gem, a bit rough around the edges, but the story and characters are really good and the game is generally well written and the cast is **** combat is servicable and can be alot of fun, but it can get repeatitive after a while (and the difficulty spikes hard near the end **** soundtrack is also awesome and I think the game looks visually pleasing for the most part (with the exception of the world map in gameplay...)But all in all, this game has a very interesting end game lore and I honestly wish it'd get a sequel (or a remake) some **** much as unlikely this is, but yeah I'd recommend it.

An underrated gem...great music, great characters and an amazing story, Solid gameplay and great visual style. The most underrated gem in modern gaming era.

Gameplay: Great sword play with a lot of variety of combo's and the change or perspective and bullet hell segments add plenty to the experience...playing on the second playthrough as 9S allows you to do more hacking than sword play and the third playthrough allows you to use A2 which has different **** in all great gameplay. Graphics: Great visuals, but what sets this game apart is the art style and ****'s very stylistic and unique, some textures are a bit blurry on some objects but nothing that ruins the experience. Sound: Nothing much to say **** voice acting is pure greatness and music is simply **** certainly lives up to the original Nier's OST. Characters: Very deep and emotionally engaging characters...though you will not get everything on them on the first playthrough...They mostly shine in the main five endings routes. Story: As expected from Yoko **** story is pure insanity and beautifully bizarre and challenges your mind to the very end...again, multiple playthroughs are needed to grasp the whole **** it's completely worth it. Verdict: Great game, do yourself a favor and buy it.
