It seems that Volition spent more time ensuring LGBTQ representation and arguing with fans over twitter than, oh I don't know, fixing bugs, developing a better physics engine/gameplay, halfway passable writing, or fixing the atrocious main characters.

I have to say, I am impressed. These games have massive amounts of content with a normal playthrough requiring quite a deal of time to complete. Diverse characters, awesome unique abilities, long, long, looooong list of weapons, spells, enemies, etc., **** set-pieces (cheers to you, opera house sequence), and cool bosses all without disappointing in the story department. Had a blast with my playthroughs. If I had to pick a gripe it would be the grinding (which is pretty standard for an RPG) and the tendency for the dialogue to be a bit childish at times, at least during the first half of the games. Lots to enjoy for you rpg fans out there.

Just amazing! Good gameplay, enemies, exploring, weapons, platforming, atmosphere and design! The framerate is also excellent, which to me is crucial for a game. id really stepped up from the original doom! There is also some challenging platforming goodness in this game. I really hope that the new DOOM is as good as it was in the old days when they made a name for the fps genre. That would be awesome!

Garry's Mod

Seeing what Half Life 2 can do, I came into Garry's Mod with high hopes. I had some ideas to make some cool stuff and believed that now I had the perfect opportunity. Little did I know just the extent of problems that Garry's Mod is plagued with. Most noticeable right off the bat was the clunkiness of the menu and the various actions that can be performed. They are extremely user unfriendly and frustrating as basic actions such as properly placing someone in a chair became a ridiculous comedy of errors. And then there's a drastic reduction in the quality of graphics and framerate from the same exact objects/characters/etc **** that I had on the same exact laptop I was using. Normally, I am very tolerant with graphics. Now I know where the line is drawn, as some words on the walls couldn't even be read. As for the framerate, well, it's hard to actually play a game when it takes about three minutes to take a few steps. It gets this way when you have a group of objects or npcs in the map, making your options more limited. Then there's the dreaded purple and black squares on all the textures. If you don't buy the games that many textures, objects, etc require then you basically have these massive eyesores everywhere you look or big ERROR text. Nothing like ending up paying even more money (and a lot at that) just to play the same game, right? Now, the obvious question, "Why don't you ask the community?" "Get a better computer!" My computer is fine and I have looked on the boards, I have asked questions and the community was... less than friendly... There may be a lot of opportunity in Garry's Mod, but a litany of problems make it a very frustrating and obstructive experience. I was unable to find much that made me want to actually keep playing.

What can be said about this game that hasn't been said already? I played this for the first time in 2013 and it completely blew me away. The atmosphere, the smooth (and I mean it when I say smooth) gameplay, the diverse characters and enemies, the physics puzzles, the environment in general, the story, the set pieces! I could go on and on, as a matter of fact, so many have done just that on metacritic and, well, anywhere else. Also, for a game made in 2004, these graphics are SUPERB. Don't get me wrong, if you are unfortunate enough to still not have played this software, when you do, it should be easy to see it is a masterpiece. The big bad shooters of today have got their own thing going on. Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, and such are okay, but to be honest, when I play these games I don't really care about the game itself. It just doesn't seem fun to me. They just don't seem to possess that pizzazz that half life 2 carries. And really, to me, how fun it is is a pretty damn important part ****. Still don't agree? Okay. Not every single person is going to enjoy the same game. But I must say, the half life series, in addition to most if not all of Valve's other well-known games, definitely deserves the massive fanbase that it has. Half life 2 has left a permanent mark on the history of video games and will be remembered for a very, very long time.

Saints Row: The Third

Honestly, I started playing this game at the perfect time. In 3, Volition truly begins to embrace the silly side of Saints Row and it shows in so many parts of this game, providing a good offset to the grittiness and brutality of #2. With more customization options, a reinvention for the series, and overall, making the game feel more fun, Saints Row The Third provides a whole lot of bang for its buck while offering a game that will defy expectations for those who thought of Saints Row as nothing but a GTA ripoff. I absolutely loved this game. It is worth checking out if you have not already done so, as it is a great time waster.

I-Ninja is a very fun and engaging platformer that goes above and beyond what you'd originally expect of it, with great diversity in gameplay and beautiful graphics. It is definitely a game directed towards children, however, adults should also find a lot of entertainment value here. If you have a kid, this would be a perfect game for them, as it has a lot to offer.

Broken. Completely broken. The controls are broken, the core gameplay itself is broken, broken, broken, broken. The controls have achieved a magnitude of **** I previously believed wasn't humanly possible, with plenty of buttons that do nothing and the majority of responsive buttons yielding crappy, ineffective moves. Multiple times in one fight, I would be facing and pushing the joystick in one certain direction, when suddenly, my character decides to veer off in a completely different one. Many of the celebrities I have never heard of in my life and the monsters are incredibly lame and clearly thrown in to make up for the lack of celebrities that agreed to be a part of this horrific, ugly mess. The voice-acting may be the best thing about this game and it too is not that good. I like how they included the actual announcers from the show, but many celebrities do not have the actual celebrity doing the voice-overs. The game is riddled with factual errors, ridiculous camera problems, and terrible animations. The create a celebrity feature ****, just like the rest of the game. The only apparent positive that this game has is its humor. The game utilizes stupid humor to the max. You'll definitely get a few chuckles in, making this game good for about a few rounds. If you are inconceivably bored beyond tears, heavily stoned, or curious about self-induced mental torture, then this game is worth playing. Everyone else, move along. There's nothing to see here.

This game has some good ideas: realistic hunting situations, aggressive wildlife, but it fails in execution. Animals will see you no matter how slow you move, shooting is way more difficult than necessary, controls themselves are clunky, and combat is terrible. Overall, it's very boring and unsatisfying, just like real hunting!

Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror

Fugitive Hunter is the perfect example of crappiness. The fighting and shooting controls are both clunky, inaccurate, and annoying. Speaking of annoying, the voice acting is hilariously terrible, your protagonist is about as dorky as it gets and he never stops spewing lame phrases, the enemies and characters are absolute stereotypes, with choppy animation for character models. Overall, the game just has a crappy feel from start to finish that is very noticeable, It's clear that they wanted to pass a crappy game off as a playable one rather than take the time to improve it. Generic Shooter is a more appropriate name for this game than Fugitive Hunter.

The normal mode is a bit repetitive but fun. the game could last you a month no more it was too fun in the beginning but a bit too hard for newbies i have not tried a link to the past but I'm gonna very soon out of 10 i would rate this 18
