Resident Evil Requiem10

I'll start by saying I've played every single one of the numbered games in the series. Some, in my opinion, are complete failures and terrible works (RE5, RE6); some are excellent (RE1, RE2, RE3, RE8); and some are masterpieces in their genre (RE7). But not a single game has ever reached the standard of a cult classic like the original RE4—and it seemed like the era had passed, with RE4's level remaining unbeaten. But how wrong I was in my judgment, and it's a GOOD thing I was wrong—because Resident Evil Requiem sets a new standard for the series and the survival horror subgenre as a whole. Besides an excellent, gripping story, the game has so many strengths that it's difficult to pinpoint just one. It's a monolith of high-quality technical and scripted work. The horror element for Grace is simply incomparable. Leon's action is on par with the fourth installment in the series. Graphically, I was able to play with RTX at 144 fps—the game was technically polished on release day. The various enemy types in the initial section of Grace's game are terrifying: zombie characters who are aware of some of their actions can even utter phrases or sing—whoever came up with that idea was a genius. Leon's game slows down a bit toward the end, but when you reach the dead city of Raccoon City, a **** nostalgia overwhelms you. There are various references in text documents and Easter eggs in an eerily familiar, yet different city. A masterpiece—the best in the series. A well-deserved 10 out of 10.

AI using slop game, just another clone of Escape from Tarkov. Arc raiders is just - a bad Escape from Tarkov. End of the debate. If an online shooter is supposed to win game of the year according to "special people", then Escape from Tarkov should win the award, because it is a much better game coming out this year.

Once again Kojima claims to have a GENIUS game - but it turns out to be some kind of incomprehensible mess with excellent graphics. Boring repetitive gameplay - you walk around, deliver packages for Kojima's friends who agreed to motion capture. The first game was, firstly, better built in terms of plot and unique in some sense - but here you just play with a bunch of famous actors, friends of Kojima, and to his favorite playlist. There is no punch in the story - there is nothing to cling to and say ooo, this is really interesting like it was in the first game. Disappointment with good music and excellent graphics - but games are not a gathering of your famous friends, dear Kojima. Rated 210 - 1 point for excellent music - but again, it is not unique, made specifically for THIS game, and 1 point for graphics.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 3310

The game has it all - a great soul-grabbing plot, excellent graphics, amazing music, exciting gameplay, memorable characters. For me personally, this game is on par with such giants as The Witcher 3 and Baldur's Gate 3. Expedition 33 has a soul and does not try to fit into the framework of "modern" narratives (Dragon Age hello). It gives the player a whole range of emotions - anger, joy, sadness and really touches you from the inside. And thank the gods and players - who gave the game a chance and launched this game into absolute success. While cunning huge AAA studios blame everyone - players, critics, game genres, narratives - small teams save gaming because they work with passion! Bravo to the development team!
