Great game! It is a very fun FPS with very balanced gameplay. It is very worth getting either on the XB1 or PC. No single player which is fine, I buy games like this to play online so that doesn't bother me a bit. If you are on the fence about getting it, watch some Twitch videos..there are plenty of live streams.

Is this the best game made? No. However, it also is not the worst game made. I love how people complain it is repetitive. EVERY game made is repetitive, including MMOs. The fights feel like they were going for a Batman: Arkham (et al) feel to them and they were able to get the fluid part down. This game was made with eye candy in mind. The scenery and environments were incredible. The people's expressions and body movements were really good as well. The details that you can see make you want to stop and just look around. It is a really good launch title that shows off what next gen is going to be like (and from here it will only get better). The atmosphere from the sounds were incredible as well. They also had top notch voice acting (when there was actually speaking). Do I wish there was more to the game? A little. I wish they would have fleshed the story out a little more, it was pretty good but it seems to be a little short. This game is kind of like Knack in that people are either going to hate it or they will really enjoy it.

If you play game just because of how pretty it is then you probably won't like this one. At first I was turned off by the blocky 80's look of the game. However, my son wanted it on the 360 so I got it for him. I sat down and played it for a while and realized it was a lot of fun. I then went out and bought the PC version. Yes, there are bugs. However, I haven't seen any lag yet or any FPS issues. As a sandbox game, it is a blast.

If I were to quickly describe this game I would say it is a mix of Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell: Conviction. However, for some reason this game just comes off as being..boring. At first it is impressive until you realize you are doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. This repetitive fun includes sneaking through an air duct, hacking a PC, hacking a door, shooting someone and running because people four blocks over heard you and call their cousins to come after you, running to an air duct and hiding. Rinse, repeat. The character models remind me of characters from an early Grand Theft Auto. They are very stiff and "odd" looking. The AI is very lacking. If a NPC is chasing you and "sees" you go into an air duct they will stand outside of it and shoot at the wall. Luckily they don't seem to know how to bend over and pull a trigger. For a game as hyped as this one, I would have rather spent my money on buying a used copy of Splinter Cell: Conviction. At least then I wouldn't want to fall asleep with the controller in my hand.

If you are looking for a fun arcade style shooter then this is a game that you will enjoy. As many have said, the visuals are average, about on-par with Bad Company 2. However, they did implement an environment with a lot of destructible items (walls, cars, generators, etc) and that may have something to do with the the quality of the graphics. The sound is actually pretty good, I don't have any complaints with it at all. WHEN you can get in a multiplayer game they feel well balanced (not very many people playing the on-line portion). However, I am sure the people that haven't figured out how to upgrade their weapons using intel probably wouldn't agree with that comment. My main complaint is how the environment interacts with gunfire. There are portions of the maps that even though you can see the person you are shooting at the weapon's projectile will hit an invisible wall. This gets rather annoying when you try to throw a grenade around a corner and it drops right next to you. Overall, it is fun just needs a little more polish.

Child of Eden is an incredible journey into a digital universe. The music and visuals are amazing. The Kinect control is spot on. I was impressed at how smooth the game played when you use both hands at different times (for different weapon types) and how accurate it was. It is well worth the money and worth picking up over the other games that have been released recently. I didn't give it a perfect score because it is a tad short. However, I will have to say that I was using Kinect to play it and my arm is killing me now :)
