Beautiful, strange. The one time 'Nothing is true, everything is possible' game has become something else. Maybe this could be applied to the multiplayer? Anyway, this game puts you on a strictly set path for the mission parts. And I mean it, jump slightly off the course in a chase scene and you de-sync (die). There is a lot of open-worldness in the frontier and many achievements to go along with that side of the game. These two aspects are practically fractured from one another. Multiplayer is fun, tons and tons of customization options for looks and abilities. Thankfully there is now a solid counter to the infamously op smoke bomb. You can spend real money to get stuff instead of using legitimately acquired 'animus points'. Bugs are everywhere in single player, I had a bear get stuck halfway underwater near me preventing me from looting tons of loot. I had a cannon ball get stuck in the air with its fast-moving air graphics all around it. The games you can play in bars and such are way harder than its worth to ever play them. There are no temples with associated achievements, dis-a-pointment! Overall quality is great with it still being very much the same game, a watered down story and a deeper open-world aspect as well as deeper multiplayer. When has this series ever not been mildly annoying? I love having to overcome something, but sometimes its just downright annoying. Worth playing if only for multiplayer. Despite some shortcomings on expectations I still have to say I love this game and got way into it this time around.

Played both Diablo's 1 and 2. These old games suffered from massive clunkiness, and many things have changed in gaming since their release. Many of the things about those games were wrong, so to compare them is laughable. Diablo 3 has taken the things that blizzard has learned since those 2 titles and implemented everything they've learned. The game is very popular, starting to mature and is looking really good. I'm on my Hell playthrough now and really it is starting to get interesting. No good game that I remember had a great start, give it some time it will iron itself out. Time will tell the story of Diablo 3, and in hindsight is the only way to rate it. 10/10

This is an easy COD style game. Its redone, and changed the layout of the maps. Worse graphics and lower framerate than COD. Its not total garbage, it still plays. I expected more out **** remake, but to regain the orginals legendary status may be impossible. The real problem is the foundation the remake was built upon - the Wii.

I would like to give this game a 6.9. This game gave me a seizure and I'm not even prone to them. So whats the deal? Tons of flashing colors, to the point where you are circling a massive blob of brightness, shooting, and shooting, and shooting, and your eyes are screaming "AAAAAAAAAAAH". All the while your arm is held out, and you start to wonder.. why? Ok, that is just one part that irritated me. The rest of this game is pretty good actually! You adventure through some beautiful landscapes, skyscapes, spacescapes, and so on, until you win. It really is better with the Kinect because it is easier to get through. I did not enjoy starting at the end upon failure. All in all this game is very short, and has reasonable replay value. If you can get it for under 20$, and like the Kinect, shooters, and pretty colors, go ahead and get it.

I couldn't finish it, it was too much like a linear GTA4 that had a crap story. Sorry but I am slightly biased against beating a dead horse with a story that has been done to death. Nothing new here, but some of the cut-scenes and happenings are hilarious. Aside from that, move along. I commend the developers, but this game needs a major overhaul if the mafia story is to continue.

We had to slog it out to finish this game. It felt more like a chore than a game, but the shining strong-point is the rafting. That, in my opinion, is totally worth playing. It is an easy achievement grab, and if you look to your right you can buy this game for $1.50. If you bought a Kinect recently you may not of had this bundled with it, so go ahead and buy it. The rafting is worth a buck fitty.

Insanely fast action game with horrible japanime music. That is the summary of the gameplay. The story of going to Paradiso to reset the balance of light and dark kept me playing it to the end. There is a lot of room for skill to be used here, it all happens so fast and there are side-challenges that will pretty much require you to be a real-life ninja with the controller to complete. The graphics are pretty good, and the frame rate is 60. The only thing stopping this game from getting a higher score from me is the cheese factor with the music and a few awkward-to-watch cut scenes. I feel embarrassed for the characters, and to think the originated in the underworld? Lol.

This game is relatively easy to finish, and is basically a re-skin of GTA4. This is exactly what I like about it, because I didn't like GTA4 all that much, the story was lame to me. With a western theme, it seemed to spring to life. It has zero replay value for the story, but you can really be immersed in the environment here. There is a lot to love about the game, with difficult achievements that will milk you for 100 hours of your time into it. Is anyone that crazy? Yep. The undead nightmare expansion is nice as well. It all plays out like a movie, and not surprisingly that is what the market wanted at the time. This is the only viable western game to date. Now for a romanesque re-skinning of GTA4, please.

Ask yourself a few questions when reviewing this game, or considering any reviewers score professional or otherwise. What is the criteria for that review? Was it obviously a bribe that influenced it, or lack thereof? (I'm looking at you, IGN) Is the review an emotional one, based on a love for a rival game? Consider facts, and consider what this game means for the entire genre. Battlefield has been revamping its engine in revolutionary ways with every new release. Mind you, not slightly re-skinning an annual franchise. DICE is the same crew of guys, with a real sense of direction, and not jippin' its employees with empty promises. (I'm looking at you Activision, IW). This is a military shooter with advanced physics, gritty realism and no-holds-barred combat. Two guys can shoot at each-other and both die. That doesn't happen in rival shooters. This game will continue to mean a lot to people long after the fanfare has faded, long after the bribes of reviews have been long spent. 8.5, 9.5, all insignificant to people who will dump 500 hours of time into this game with glee. Go play a game that gets rated 9.5 for 10 hours and toss it in the trash. This game is beyond being reviewed, it needs no judgment . This is what it is, and its ****ing awesome.

Best FPS leading up to BF3. We all sank 500+ hours into it, and loved it. Slightly clunky controls, but more than makes up for this with audacious features in all departments. Infantry-centric with vehicles. Most fun for sniping in multiplayer of any shooter in history. Story that knew not to take itself too seriously. SkizDriz's game of the year 2010.

COD was a good game for the last decade. Now it is blatantly a regurgitated annual clone. It has no direction, it's plots are interchangeable and predictable. The campaign sports egregious graphical anomalies, such as helicopters that bounce like rubber balls when they hit the ground. Its a shame. Host advantage has completely ruined the multi-player aspect of this game. Dedicated servers are nowhere to be found, and though it is the most successful franchise ever it fails to deliver on this small piece of overhead. This game boils down to the same repetitive formula over and over, and its time is almost up. MW2 was better in every way, and after the IW scandal I won't be buying any further entrances into COD. I only got this game to play with my work friends but now we are moving to a more mature shooter that is due out very soon. Time to make a new game with dedicated servers? Doubt it. Burn in hell, COD.

Congratulations professional game reviewers - you are narrow in your scope of game genre's. This game has received undeserving scorn from people who simply don't enjoy the puzzle genre of games. This isn't another cookie-cut shooter. This is a puzzle game. Your job is to get an object, or objects to their goal. How you do that is up to you with the tools given. Sometimes it will be with simple tools, other times with 20 objects that you can glue together or have interact with one another individually. Some parts of this game can be challenging, others surprisingly simple. The controls aren't bad, as with any game it takes patience to learn how to do anything. This is a niche game. If you are looking to solve some puzzles, this game makes it fun to do so. It fails to deliver polished graphics, and that is my only gripe.

Great visuals, ok gameplay. It does feel like Quake, but without the original grit of that series. It would have been a score better and possibly a hit had it been 100% co-opable like Borderlands. This game isn't exactly an rpg, but it has light RPG elements. The junk collecting to build things is less than intuitive, dealing with vendors who are sprawled out in a town isn't really fun. Once the game gets going though, its good. But not great.

Nothing new in this shoot'n'slash action game. But for what it does, it does it well. Not everyone is into romanesque space marine stuff, but at the least it is comical. The gameplay is fully realized, and entertaining. Unless you are way into the 40k universe, there is no story here.

At least square enix has enough money to pay off its reviewers of this game. I got this game based on score alone, and it ended up being the single biggest let-down **** in my life. This game has the same problem as, say, Duke Nukem. You die instantly, and then you face 30 seconds of load-screen. Rinse and repeat that a few times, and you get total garbage. Achievement hunters on the 360 wont be happy with the way it disproportionately dispenses achievements. You are forced to run around and hide like a nancy-boy, not the behavior of the man pictured, or an "enhanced" person. Seriously needs some more options in which way you choose to play the game. Oh I forgot, this is square enix, the company that fires employees for creativity. Should have known, but I am officially done with what was once a great developer.
