Kingdom Come: Deliverance6
Mar 11, 2026
The Dark Middle Ages. To begin with, I played the game in hard mode. There is no quick movement, interface, character marker on the map, and you have to choose two debuffs from the nine available at the beginning, along with other challenges. I chose debuffs related to food and stamina.Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game developed by the Czech company Warhorse Studios. This is an open-world adventure RPG with an A-life system and an emphasis on realism. The game has many positive aspects, but also a few negative ones, which I will discuss **** my opinion, the main advantages are. Skill development - there are a lot of them. Eloquence, lock picking, pickpocketing, hunting, reading, alchemy, and even drunkenness (yes, it counts as a skill). I have listed only those that I consider to be the best. I don't think that herbalism and repairs are good, it's pretty routine. For example, I've always bought herbs rather than harvested them, and the equipment can be repaired for next to nothing.Character development - I didn't pay much attention to my equipment or my combat skills. But after the first assault, everything changed. I tried to complete the task with a minimum amount of equipment and without understanding the combat mechanics, spending 6 hours on it, but nothing worked. I decided to learn how to fight with a shield and a short sword from Centurion Bernard. During the training, my passive skills improved, and I finally comprehended the mechanics of combat. Then I did side quests, earned some money, stole and sold loot. I became interested in alchemy, made some potions, and acquired the Witcher's skill. After leveling up and understanding the intricacies of the battle, I went on the assault and completed the task that I needed the first time, following the plot further. This part of the game was very interesting and enjoyable for me. I felt like I was making progress.A-life - The game has an artificial life support system, which is implemented rather mediocre, but there are some interesting details that definitely add value. For example, in one quest, refugees need to find a job. The positions of water carriers were available - I decided who would take them. Having hired people, they actually walked around the territory and carried water. The game is full of such small details.Combat is a unique combat system that may seem complicated at first glance, but it's not. I chose a tactic: a shield and a short sword. I played mostly by counterattacking, using good equipment and potions.Stealth is an interesting stealth mechanic. There are three main characteristics: visibility, detectability, and noise. They depend on the equipment and the effects on the character. For example, when you're drunk, you're more visible. Stealth makes it easier to pick locks, pickpocket, and kill with a dagger (**** RPG role-playing system is implemented quite well. You can be a benevolent person, but you also have the opportunity not to choose the path of goodness. Eloquence affects the chances of convincing your interlocutor, as well as charm and your armor. The choices you make when completing tasks have consequences.Funny situations and humor - During the passage, I often came across funny situations, and there were many humorous quests. Here is one of them: I leave the domain of high-ranking lords after receiving a reward and promotion, and I am immediately stopped by a guard to check if I have stolen items, right in front of the lords' doors. I bribe him to leave me alone, and from that moment on, I **** let's move on to the negative aspects of the game. Poor optimization - my configuration is 4060ti, 32 GB, 5600 MHz, r5 7500f, 1080p, and in crowded areas and mass battles, FPS can drop to 50 frames per second. It's very frustrating. My settings were set to "High". Not "Ultra", but the game was released in 2018.Technical problems - there are a lot of bugs in it. Examples: characters can get stuck in each other (this happened very often), under some unknown circumstances your character can fly 10 meters into the air and land as if nothing had happened, people appear on the screen out of nowhere, there are many minor bugs in the behavior of NPCs that are **** it really realistic? Due to the technical flaws, there are many exploits in the game, so it doesn't seem "realistic". For example, I'm fighting two bandits. I can take one of them on horseback, and the other one will just leave me alone and not attack because of the distance. I can also steal items from the store in plain sight, and then convince them that I'm on a secret mission (using eloquence)-and this can be done all the time. That's why I've never had problems with gear and money :) Due to poor optimization and constant bugs, it feels like you are playing a very raw game, as if it is at some stage of testing.Personal rating: 6/10

Detroit: Become Human10

Emotions in the moment. Playing Detroit: Become Human was my first experience with the interactive cinema genre. I don’t know much about this kind of games. Everything in this game is perfect for me. Technically, it works flawlessly. I haven’t encountered any bugs or performance issues. The graphics are highly detailed, and the creators approached their project like a film production. In the main menu, under the “videos” section, you can watch a short film about the creation process. Professional camera work, the use of “Performance Capture” and detailed actor scanning all contribute to the high-quality visuals. The plot is interesting, even if it’s predictable at times, but that doesn’t detract from the game’s appeal. The game has very high replay value, with numerous potential paths to explore. The variability of events is enormous. The characters feel incredibly lifelike. While playing, I became completely immersed, and during dynamic scenes, I sometimes lost touch with reality. In this world, I experienced a full range of emotions: from sadness and sympathy to anger. Can robots be considered living beings? Do they possess consciousness? What is consciousness in our world? These philosophical questions are raised in the game, allowing players to form their own opinions. In my opinion, the only drawback is that sometimes the names of the choices are unclear, and selecting an option can imply a completely different meaning. I believe there are no close analogues in this genre. It’s cool, high-quality, dynamic, modern, and made with passion. Personal rating: 10/10

Hogwarts Legacy5
Mar 11, 2026
Fans of J.K. Rowling's universe will enjoy it.
I'll begin with the downsides. The first and most significant drawback is the unconvincing characters: they feel extremely artificial. The game has dramatic moments, but I didn't empathize with the characters in any of them. The main issue lies in their animation and facial expressions — they're just too fake. The second, less critical drawback is technical glitches. I encountered several bugs. Characters could get stuck in the environment, spinning endlessly. There were control anomalies: for some reason, they appeared a couple of times — at the end of the game, during intense fights, as if my character had locked onto a target and was attacking it, even though I hadn't set the target. This caused the camera to malfunction and the character's direction to become disoriented. The third drawback is the level loading system: while exploring Hogwarts and opening doors, you can notice the loading in real time, with characters appearing on the screen out of nowhere, making the world feel even more artificial. Another issue for me is how mobs react to stealth kills — they all have a fixed field of view of 90° and a visibility range of just a few meters in front of them. I can kill them from just two steps away, and they won't even react. This further contributes to the artificial feel of the world. Now for the positives. The game's graphics are good. The visual design is excellent. The interior decoration of the castle and Hogsmeade is very beautiful. The developers successfully captured the atmosphere of J.K. Rowling's universe through the visual aspect. As you progress, the game introduces many new mechanics that make the gameplay more engaging. The battles are quite dynamic and enjoyable, offering a lot of variety as you can create your own builds, try different spell combinations, engage in alchemy, and more. The large game world is interesting to explore, but the main thing is not to get overwhelmed and balance it with the quests. I liked the Room of Requirement and its interactivity. There's no point in discussing the plot — it's utterly mediocre, and the relationship arcs are no exception. If I weren't a fan of the Harry Potter universe, I would likely drop the game, but in my case, I might even return to play: complete the additional quests, explore the map. I recommend it to fans of the universe to give it a try. I don't think this product will appeal to other gamers. Personal rating: 5/10
