Beautiful art and animation, smart level design, wonderful music, and tight controls make this one of the best metroidvanias out there - IMO second only to Hollow Knight. Better than the original Ori and the Blind Forest in every aspect and I would recommend playing this one if you're debating which instalment to pick up first (you lose a bit of backstory, but truly nothing consequential).

Lovely art and a clever concept! Some puzzles are less than obvious resulting in a bit of random clicking, but it doesn't detract too much. I had difficulty following the story but I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. For the price I paid for it ($5) it's a no brainer!

Powerpoint presentation masquerading as an artsy game. I'm not a fan of visual novel type of games in general, but this one is especially shallow.

5-10 hours of pure enjoyment! Don't expect a ton of depth to the game but enjoy it for what it is - an audiovisual masterpiece!

I have a **** felling gamers who are blown away with this game probably simply never read a book. Same as with "What remains of Edith Finch", this is not a game but a visual novel. KR0 might appeal to David Lynch fans - everybody else should approach it with suspicion.

A fine game, but I found it hard and repetitive and it failed to draw me in. Go with HADES instead.

A word of caution to avoid disappointment: a fine interactive novel, but NOT a video game!

Some of the best writing and THE best VO acting I've ever heard in a game. 100 hours of wonderful entertainment for 20$. I do wish however I was able to finish it in 100 hours rather than still have unlockables left xD

More than three years on and I still find myself thinking about this game. A true masterpiece that will stay with me forever.

Superb art style and gorgeous environments/characters marred by floaty controls (especially frustration with shadow creatures attacking you as you fiddle with the flashlight), puzzles that are often too simplistic, and ungodly long loading times

Charming art and premise, but interactions are superficial and the game is woefully short. And definitely not as funny as reviewers would like you to expect. Save your money and watch a streamer play it, it's what the game was built for anyway.

Got this game because of reviews and glad to say they weren't wrong - Skies of Fury is a gem! Looks great, sounds great, and controls great. The only thing not so great about it is questionable replayability - I am not sure how long the campaigns are going to keep my attention. However, I've got a chance to try out 4 player local multiplayer over the weekend and I think it might be my favourite part of the game! The atmosphere actually reminded me a bit of the golden days of N64 and playing Goldeneye for hours on the couch... Probably best spent CAD$25 in the eShop so far!
