Another consistent doom game added to the franchise. True to form, serious fun without taking itself too serious. The music gets the vibe of the others but definitely missing some of the bangers from the other games. Gameplay is solid, fun, and I didn't noticed any bugs, which is rare nowadays.

Amazingly fun couch co-op game without the BS of the modern gaming industry. You only have to buy 1 copy for two people to play. That is unheard of in this EA, UBISOFT, live service nightmare gaming landscape.

Combat, movement, and mechanics are super janky. Uninspired puzzles and dialogue. The only decent aspect of this game is Troy Baker's voice acting. You spend most of the time sneaking around empty areas taking pictures of statues and paintings and sneaking back to give them to an NPC. Dogs will just attack you and all you can do it push them off because the game doesn't let you fight them. They just walk to a corner and lay down. So why even put them in the game? You can't see anything without a torch, however, you have to drop it anytime you interact with something or they will go out after a certain amount of time. So then you have travel back in the dark to the starting area to get more sticks. The inventory is tiny and every animation takes 4 times longer than it needs to. You have no stamina and can't hold your breath for more than like 10-15 seconds. Level design is horrible and most missions is just back tracking. The stealth system is a joke, which **** because that is how you are encouraged to playout every mission. Even just running around main areas to talk to NPCs. I honestly can't remember the story because it was so forgettable. What is this game? I'm not a hardcore Indiana Jones fan but I enjoyed the movies and love the Uncharted series. This is just an over polished, uninspired, and railroading errand simulator. Avoid unless you are a hardcore Indiana Jones fan. Luckily, I purchased the physical version so I will be returning this trash asap.

Just 100% the game and it was 80% fun and 20% not fun. Love the themes and attention to detail. However, some of the mechanics and controls can be very clunky. Which can become a real problem as a platformer. The monkey hands and the time freeze were some of the most unpleasant video game mechanics I have come across. Overall, it was definitely one the best platformers that have come out in a while. However, its still a platformer and can only offer the threshold of "Interesting" that being a platformer entails. This deserved best adventure game but far from game of the year. How out of touch have video game journalist become?

The 1997 FF7 was one of the first games that gave weight to Video game characters and it blew my mind. Everything was given great care in the modernization of this classic. Beautifully done, I spent 180 hours in my first play through making sure to take in as much as possible. Loved every second of it but I am super biased. There is so much game in the game that I am still shocked in was only $70.

When gameplay of God of War 2018 was released, I remember everyone being concerned about Atreus and worry about him in combat, or being the annoying kid character that distracts from the main story of Kratos. Those concerns were addressed by the devs as they explained that Atreus would only assist in combat and solving puzzles, not playable, and only added to bring a depth and gravity to the life of Kratos. And that is exactly what happened when you played tha game. However, in GOW Ragnarök, Atreus has become the main focus of the story and a playable character no one wanted. The most boring combat and forced story plots as a way to add a convoluted and unconvincing passing of the torch to the next generation at the expense of everything that made GOW 2018 so special...a disconnected father and son finding themselves and developing a genuine relationship by navigating the complexities of grief by losing the most important person in both their lives. Beautifully, utilizing small moments throughout the main beats of the story to equalize pace and add a realistic tone to character development without completely changing the characters themselves. But....Ragnork.....Atreus is an dumb and confused teenager who feeds whatever plot is needed for the convoluted story choices by the writers who obviously tried to cram every character mentioned in a google search for Nordic mythology. Lazy writing turning Kratos into an apologetic helicopter pilot needing to apologize for not understanding the perspective of his idiotic kid. We wanted God Of War and we got God of Angst. The devs and technical people who worked on this game get a 10/10. However, the story writers get a 5/10 for flicking their boogers at everyone who bought the game.

Bug and bugs and bugs. Story is mediocre at best and the characters are forgettable. They tried really hard to make everyone so extreme that they had the personality of a mountain dew commercial. The UI for the menus are absolute trash and the customization options go hard on things that you don't really care about. Not to mention, if you care about stats, your character will be walking around in outfits that look like they were picked out by a group of 4 year olds. Combat is clunky (not Witcher 3 clunky but still) and the world is not as interesting as the game tries to make it look. I have had more fun playing average games than this so that is why it gets a 3. Did I mention the bugs? Luckily, I was able to get a refund so no hard feelings to CD Project Red. But the game is meh with a side of bugs.

One of the most balanced and fun two player couch co-op that I have played in at least 10 years. its got humor, puzzles (good ones), changing mechanics and non-stop fun the whole way through. The wife and I are always looking for good games to play together and its perfect. Its so light-hearted that you can't even get frustrated on the challenging parts of the game. We spent so much time on the mini games because even they are fun. Its just fun the whole time. It gets a 10 from me because its the best 2 player couch co-op game I have played in my memory. ITS SO DAMN FUN!

I love Mass Effect and I go through a whole play through every few years. This version will be the one I run with from now on. Its got everything (except Pinnacle Station and Multiplayer) included and so many improvements from textures, lighting, combat, vehicles, cover, and load times. Right now, I am starting ME3 and I am having so much damn fun. This game is great....unless you speak Russian apparently.

I was hesitant to buy this game because I knew this game was hard and I am not amazing at video games. However, I was thirsty for a PS5 exclusive so I purchased it anyway. What surprised me about this game was how well it integrated story, exploration, combat, and freedom. Even though I had to start at the very beginning when I died, each run was different. I would tell myself that I don't care about the next run, I'm just going to farm some Ether for my next voyage to the boss. Then, all of a sudden, you get the weapon you want, upgrades, and huge health bonuses that got you good enough to fight the boss. Next thing you know your up until 4 am beating the boss and entering the next biome. The game has never crashed for me but I did lose a good run when I suspended my game by putting the PS5 into rest mode but didn't disable any updates. So when the game updated, I lost a good amount of progress. This is why I didn't get the game a 10. There are plenty of ways to add a save function on a run when you can't continue playing. I shouldn't have to rely on old school Nintendo tactics by pausing the game and leaving it running so I don't lose my progress. Even with that said, I have never spent more than 2 runs beating a boss and there are plenty of ways of progressing without loosing everything. You don't loose everything, the main abilities that help you the most stay with you once you obtain them. The game also offers you portals for areas you already when through to get around repetitive areas. I have probably died about 15 times and each run through has been completely different than the last. The game will punish you if you make bad decisions or try to run and gun every enemy. It makes you adapt each time and you naturally learn the best ways to defeat certain enemies and how to gamble with buffs and debuffs or when to push for the boss based on your current run. The game is challenging but If you pay attention to what is going on and learn from your mistakes you will always do better and progress for the most part. If you are really struggling with moving forward then watch some tips and tricks videos to get you started. If you are still having problems then maybe this isn't your game. But to say this game is bad because its a little challenging is pretty dumb. The game is amazing and if you like the freedom of figuring things out for yourself then you'll probably have a good time.

The combat and controls are terrible and clunky AF. No real customization of your character. Weapons break and you have to spend time traveling to specific areas to fix them. Quests like finding a pot for an old lady or some guys sheep or learning how to bow correctly are really dumb. The main story is pretty boring and most of the world all looks the same. The game railroads you into quests so exploration is discouraged. You do get to see **** in the game so maybe that is why so many thirsty nerds like the game. This is one of the most over-hyped games I have played besides Breath of the Wild. Its not a bad game its just meh with a 10/10 rating for some reason.

First off, I have never spent so much time in photo mode. This game is magically delicious and it keeps getting sexier the farther you get. The combat is smooth and soooo damn satisfying. The navigation is clever using the wind as direction and animals that delightfully help you find cool placing in the world. The voicing acting and story are fantastic and I can't put this game down. Ive been trying to finish the Witchter 3 for like years and now I prob never will. I have this game now.

Game looks good. Same old repetitive combat and encounters, they never improve the inventory or user interface. You would think that a game that will have you die this much would at least get the load times down. Still, waiting for at least 30 seconds to load back into a game. Why can't they get this right?

The details and love put into this game is incredible. All the little moments stick with you after finishing the game and I found myself not wanting to leave the world that made me feel so tense and uncomfortable at times. I am on my second play through and I am liking it even more. Also, the improvements to game play, graphics, accessibility, customization, locations, and animations had me in awe. This game throws you through so many emotions that I it takes video games to a higher level of media. I love these types of games and this my "type" at its highest standards.
