Blatantly ripping off Scott Pilgrim while being racist against white people using cheap shallow unoriginal "jokes".

Star Trek: Discovery: Season 51
Jun 2, 2024
What's with all the melodramatic sentimentality? Hugging, crying, and talking about feelings. This is how far Star Trek has fallen. Boring fluff trash.

Star Trek: Discovery2
Nov 24, 2019
A boring and woke chick flick where talk of feelings reigns. Throw a bone to the few male fans left by including a few action sequences and cool tech. Overall, trash.

Doctor Who (2024)1
May 13, 2024
Sadly stupid and boring. Lacking logic. Disgustingly woke. One example of the stupidity: Girl (otherwise vapid), concerned about time travel, asks something like, "But what if I step on a butterfly, won't it cause ripples that affect the future?" His inane reply is a joke, "Who steps on butterflies?" I mean couldn't the lazy-ass writers have at least used the nowadays overused trope of, "Oh, it won't matter THAT future because every moment there is a new timeline," which, of course, to me seems just as unethical because of the changes she would have made to THAT timeline, but let's not kid ourselves that these low-IQ **** writers ever think of others. But wait, there's more! This show - like many now - is an insult to MLK's "I have a dream" talk, specifically about judging by the contents of one's character. More specific to this ****, though: This show is all color and "personality" with no substance or depth. Empty but charming diversity-hire doctor. Just when I thought it can't get worse, more modern propaganda:
We get more programming in yet another aspect of current Malthusian agenda . Annoying "space babies" (over-spoken to the point of annoyance) to provide opportunity to shovel more "radical acceptance." To be clear about why I mentioned Malthusianism, I mean the push to discourage having babies and building families. Finally, not content with how much quasi-Marxist propaganda they wanted to spread in one episode, they chose to push pro-immigration propaganda. I shut it off at that point. Was afraid if I watched more, I'd have nightmares. Had nightmares anyway.

Halo: Season 23

Loved Season 1. Season 2 got emotional, slow, gay, boring, and stupid. Sad to see yet another show give in to mediocrity.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Season 21
Aug 24, 2023
Total **** Far too much politics and too little fun. Kinda crazy how far Star Trek has descended from the 60s version, the first motion pictures, then the Picard era, then the crappy Jar Jar Abrahms era, then the superwoke Discovery, and now this crap.

Star Wars: Ahsoka1
Aug 24, 2023
Pure trash. I guess if you removed my brain, I could find a way to enjoy this **** show. Maybe? Misandry often? New wave feminism often? I get that they wanted to cover their "victim" bases by making the star a Hispanic woman but couldn't they have picked an attractive one?

Loki1
Aug 24, 2023
A chick-flick for man-hating people with no brains. Boring. Loki was one of my favorite characters from the films. A god indeed? They so blatantly tore him down, showing him as a weak, simpy, shell of a "man" wearing a business suit (blatant symbolism: of course, they hate the capitalism that gave them their technology and ease) like a love-sick puppy following the one who is strong and wears the cool Loki armor! **** writing. **** dialog. **** plot. Waste of time.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power1
Sep 3, 2022
Music and visuals sometimes good and sometimes not. Felt bored and uncaring about the characters. Dialog was sometimes annoyingly flowery and long to say simple things. Update after watching 4 episodes: Dialog BAD, VERY BAD. The "Harfoots" were boring and not funny. They were also ruthless toward each other. Why convey this message? Needless boring long-winded exposition far too often. People saying and doing illogical things that people in their places would not say/do. People seemingly journeying far instantly without provisions or change of clothing (think Calibumblebore and his younger gay friend elf) going back and forth between elf-land and Casa Doodoo. Galadroolia is full of arrogance, hate, and spite. Ignorant of diplomacy. I thought she was over 1,000 years old? Oh and she fights multiple armored guards that outweigh her by far in close quarters and beats them all easily. Go wahmen power! Predictable. Contrived. Again: BAD writing.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: 1 A Normal Amount of Rage2
Aug 19, 2022
The first few moments set the tone of "I'm going to preach my ideology at you," which is done three times in episode 1 alone. If you are a "man" who wants to be preached at for how bad women have it but how much better than they are than men, then see this show. If you are okay with the writers/director shoe-horning (contrived) scene after scene. If you are okay with being bored, see this show. Sad how far Marvel has fallen.

The Anarchists: 1 Living Without the Law5
Aug 13, 2022
I know many of the people in this show and believe in "the cause" of liberty. I loved episode 1. Now it seems to have turned into the Lily & Paul show. I really hope subsequent episodes get away from that.

The Anarchists8
Jul 14, 2022
Episode 1: The episode went by fast for me. I was thoroughly entertained by the writing, acting, and high production values. I identify with this form of anarchism, which is far less violent and centralized than any other forms of anarchism I've encountered, those others relying on force to operate, which seems contradictory to "Anarchism". On the negative side: Did the director even think about how the book burning with kids running around cussing would look to the average free-speech-respecting inviduals? I'm curious to learn more and will certainly be watching future episodes! Maybe this is what the world needs! EDIT after watching Episodes 2 thru 5: Wow. And I got so tired of hearing Paul's fake voice spewing gross, dark **** It seems to have become the Paul, John, Jason, and Lily show. Too much repetition, too. Could have edited this entire series down to a 2-hour film or at least made each episode half as long. Much as I've learned about Anarchy, this film shows very little of that and far too much about drama; personalities and their mistakes. This film gives property-respecting Anarchists (yeah a certain flavor many call Voluntaryists) a really bad name. Shame on you, Director. Shallow, lame, boring, and shows Voluntaryists in a bad light.
Summary: Well produced, entertaining, and educational.

Star Trek: Picard1
Jun 3, 2022
Yet again we see same tired trope of males being weak dumb losers and females being smarter and better. A few cool looking scenes don't save it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi2

Continuity and logic issues but that is minor to me. Bigger: The tired trope of males being weak dumb losers and females being smarter and better. A few cool looking scenes don't save it. Riva is yet another Mary Sue character. Sad.

The Witcher4

More Geralt, please. Too much focus on side characters that are either boring, contrived, or - like with the bard - annoying as hell. I'd love to hate that character if he wasn't soooo stupidly verbose and a waste of time. By the time we meet Ciri, the show has become yet another show where the focus is on strong females.

Hawkeye (2021)1
Jan 3, 2022
Boring. Sad. BAD writing. Why does it seem like all the women in this show are powerful in one way or another while all the men are either asinine, weak, or evil?

And Just Like That...1

Shallow, trite, contrived, preachy, obvious, boring, and frustrating. Almost opposite of the old Sex and the City show.

Raising Dion1
Nov 15, 2021
I love superhero and coming of age films! Too bad this one had such poor writing, acting, and a "woke" agenda around things like climate change and racism. The cliche fat white male racist teacher, for example. The mom programming- telling- Dion what she did about his skin color is in my opinion, a tragic infection he didn't deserve and especially the kids watching! Also, Dion's character is annoying. I don't hang out with kids that young but nowadays I see that lack of attention span in people who call themselves "adults".

Invasion (2021)2
Nov 13, 2021
A bit more jump-scare directing tactics than I prefer to endure. Worse was the way characters behaved and spoke; unrealistic in the extreme. Our heroine/mom is the best example of this. Also, why is everyone so emotionally fragile?
