Uncharted: Drake's Fortune7

It's a decent game, but there are no unique gameplay concepts, it's a major rip-off from Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider and Gears of War. It's just constant jumping, moving along ledges and then shooting hoards of enemies. Which is fun, but it lacks some creative challenges.

Nightmare Creatures (1997)6

A wasted potential - despite the great atmosphere (awesome music, 19th century London setting), the gameplay gets old really quickly. It's just constant fighting against those creatures, which is rather chaotic and ends up being a dull button-mashing.

Alien: Isolation8

You can tell that PS3 is already struggling with handling the game. For most part it's a decent experience, but the lower resolution, occasional framerate drops and long loading times can get to you sometimes.
The graphics are still great, although, if you get a chance, the PS4 with its better lighting makes it a superior experience.

This is basically THE Alien Game!
It is not for everyone - it's slow-paced, requires you to watch your every step, hide, wait, and you'll still die a lot, so it can cause frustration with may players.
It is not perfect either - it doesn't pose many unique challenges. The objectives are usually to go somewhere, switch a thing, go to next place, switch another thing, etc. The space station environment (despite great visuals) can get monotonous after a while. Occasionally you'll find yourself wandering about, not sure where to go next. The overall story and characters are not very involving either.
However, I absolutely love how the creators were able to capture the atmosphere of the first Alien movie and the constant terror of being trapped in the deep space on a vessel roamed by the deadly creature. Every encounter with the Alien is as terrifying as the last one (I know some people differ on that), and when he gets you, you can't help but freeze and pray.
Additionally, the fact that the androids and humans can be hostile too, adds to the sense of surrounding hostility and fight for survival and makes you employ different strategies against them.
The sound is amazing, the game mechanics are smooth, the weapons system is innovative and adds some strategic aspect to the game.
Just an immersive experience overall.

Annoying controls, repetitive QTE's, blocky graphics. Script that feels like a B-class Matrix knock-off and makes less and less sense. Linear plot, with only an illusion of choice.
Yet still, I loved the vibe of the game and couldn't stop playing it.

This game was overloaded with cheap action, cliche dialogues and lacked any clever puzzles to solve. The levels were embarrassingly linear and the only challenges it provided were those where dozens of bad guys started attacking you and you had to shoot 'em all. Buckets of blood and piles of rotting dead bodies (literally) don't make it an adult game. The controls and graphics were good and it's still a decent action game, but definitely not a good TR game.
