Forza Horizon 67
Jun 9, 2026
It's a Forza Horizon. It's been exactly 10 years since the launch "new generation" of FH games with Horizon 3 and while every game gets improvements here and there it's definitely not enough. Hell, even the UI is not changing and HUD is exactly the same - just glancing at games it's tough to tell difference between 3, 4, 5 and 6. Every release feels like a DLC.

I had high hopes for this game but unfortunately it didn't click for me. I don't know, somewhat stressful experience (although makes sense for the prison theme) where I never felt I had enough time, resources or health. I was constantly tired, smelly, broke or hungry and dealing with that didn't really leave me with enough time to progress the story.

Decent game, but also a horrific grindfest. The whole point of the game is to run around a huge map breaking stuff with your hammer/machete/whatever to upgrade the tool and be able to break bigger stuff. Upgrading machete with stone and electronics, upgrading hats with metal and wood - it's grinding for the sake of grinding.

Battlefield 67
Feb 27, 2026
Positives:
- some good old battlefield chaos and fun
- sounds and visuals are good
- great new additions like vehicle remains staying on the map to act like cover and dragging wounded soldiers
- weapon balance is great, no clear meta weapons, on forums you see people praising random weapons daily. Negatives:
- maps are probably the worst in any BF game I've played. They are tiny yet have huge spawn protection areas, usually favor a specific side and all flags are clamped together. No levolution or amazing destruction either.
- in 4.5 months after release there have been zero major balancing patches and this game desperately needs some. A lot of gadgets are useless, aerial vehicles are dominated by guided missiles and RPGs (which are clearly the best choice for a rocket launcher and it's not even close), sniping is too easy with auto range finder and no suppression- rate of adding new content has been very slow too.
- in a $70 game you get ads to spend extra money on every launch. Buy skins, buy battlepass, buy BF PRO (wtf is that)
- either desync or **** net code- you need insane amount of time to unlock good attachments for a weapon
- no server browser and portal was dead on arrival
- suppressors are mandatory because you are autospotted when you fire a gun without one. And due to poor visibility I'd say thermal optics are necessary as well. They are also OP as hell with no drawbacks compared to other sights. Recommended if:
- you buy it on sale
- you don't spend an extra cent on anything in game (skins or battlepass)
- you can ignore challenges (tons of people suffer from FOMO and play game modes they hate just to get some pixels in a game they'll forget in a year and complain about their lack of discipline)
- you believe they can only improve going forward

Days Gone7
Feb 27, 2026
The good:
- Visuals: Graphics are great. The scenery in the first half is terrific. Unfortunately the second half is pretty ugly. Also, shoutout to the devs for the best reflective road signs I’ve ever seen in a game. Weirdly specific, but they look incredible.
- The bike: Riding feels heavy and satisfying, especially with a Dualsense.
- Hordes: They are genuinely terrifying and easily the best part of the experience. Impressive.
- Sound: Everything from the engine to the freakers sounds great.
- Gore: Good.
- Some sort of a live open world: Apart from scripted events you sometimes see different types of enemies fighting each other. Also with an infected crossbow bolt you can cause some infighting. Weirdly, you can only craft a limited amount of them in the whole game. The bad:
- Plot: Slow, boring and with some WEIRD AF choices. The Rippers' plotline left me very confused.
- Time wasting: Why am I sitting through the same 3-second animation for the 1000th time? I can't believe there isn't a perk or a tool to speed up unlocking doors and cars. Harvesting meat and plants is a total waste of time, too. What's the point? You can only get any meaningful amount of trust and credits with a camp by doing missions, not bringing in meat and plants. Fast travel is messed up: would it have killed the developers to make you spawn INSIDE the camp when fast traveling? Especially in the second half of the game, it puts you by the gate, and you have to get on your bike and drive 200 meters to the center while on a SPEED LIMITER.
- AI: This is probably the worst human enemy AI I’ve ever seen in a modern game. They have no tactical sense, they barely use cover correctly, and they just stand there waiting to be shot. It makes human encounters a total slog.
- Mission bloat: So many unnecessary missions. I was so bored by the midpoint even though I was trying to avoid side missions (which are all identical - clear a camp, chase a guy, burn zombie nests), but sometimes you’re forced to do them just to trigger main missions. Also I don't understand why after every mission they show you the % progress of a particular storyline. It definitely doesn't leave room for any surprises - if you see the story is at 90%, you know it will finish in the next mission. It also looks weird and breaks immersion when they pop up on your screen.

Hitman: World of Assassination9
Feb 4, 2026
If you know about Google and can use it to find answers for simple questions, for example "Which edition of HITMAN World of Assassination should I buy?", then you will get 3 of the best Hitman games in one convenient package and probably a thousand of hours of gameplay if you want to "platinum" it. Massive, amazingly designed and crafted maps with hundreds of NPCs, challenges and scripted scenarios which you can follow along to eliminate your targets or just do whatever you want to reach your goal. Beating the map once you will only see and hear a tiny bit of all the things available there. To reach level 20 mastery on a level you probably need to replay it 4-5 times. And that's just the campaign. Then you have community challenges, elusive targets and the freelancer mode which is a nightmare for people like me who rely on savescumming If you want to go further there's a very active speedrunning scene for Hitman WOA. Graphically it's solid but not breathtaking, in my opinion animations really let the visuals down. Also, I want my life narrated by Diana Burnwood.

Medieval Dynasty5

I was about to uninstall this game while building my second shack because it was seriously annoying. I needed 40 sticks, 20 stones, 10 logs, and 50 reeds. Could I fit all of that in my inventory? No. So you have to make multiple trips just to carry everything to the building site. Then you start building by hammering the foundation and walls, but each hit places only one unit of a resource. That means 40 + 20 + 10 + 50 = 120 hammer swings just to build a basic house. And don’t forget that you constantly have to stop and gather more materials, because you can’t carry everything at once. Oh, and the hammer breaks a few times during construction, so you need extra logs to craft new ones. Crafting is slow as hell, by the way.
Luckily, I found the difficulty customization options - kudos to the devs for adding those. I gave myself infinite carry weight, infinite stamina, and faster building and crafting (the last two really should be enabled by default). The game became much better this way, so I decided to do some quests by visiting nearby villages.
That didn’t go well. It’s an endless loop of fetch quests where you have to read through tons of unvoiced dialogue while running back and forth between villages. I can’t imagine how long this would take without infinite stamina. But even with it, the game pushed me to my boiling point. More than once, I arrived at a village at night only to find all the NPCs asleep, making it impossible to talk to anyone.
There’s no wait function, and you can’t sleep in their houses or in abandoned camps - you can only alt-tab and wait for time to pass. While you’re doing that, you get hungry and thirsty. You can’t buy food from sleeping NPCs, and I wasn’t able to find a single well in any of the villages I visited.
So there you are, under the cover of night, standing still for five in-game hours, staring at sleeping villagers, when you suddenly realize you’re about to die of thirst. You rush outside and start gobbling down mushrooms and berries, then wash it all down with a refreshing drink straight from the lake.

X4: Foundations6
Jan 16, 2026
It's a cool game, but I can't recommend it because the playing experience is absolute garbage. Unless you spend half of your time watching Youtube tutorials and googling everything, you are unlikely to learn even 30% of this game's features. I had to start doing it because by hour 30 I had almost no progress and even now at about 60 hours played I didn't advance very far. Some of the missions act like tutorials, but they are not enough. The UI is probably the worst part, considering that you spend most of the game just ordering stuff around, the experience is miserable. Yes, it's amazing in terms of a universe simulation where each tiny ship is real, stations buy and sell only actually obtained resources etc. Yes, it's an amazing sandbox where you can be a solo mining dude or become an emperor with a fleet destroying everything in your way. But be prepared to suffer. Addictive as hell, but I am uninstalling it just barely scratching the surface, it takes too much time and effort.

The game has some massive improvements over The Crew 2 (better interface, racing lines, much better graphics, lap times actually exist, more enjoyable physics), even does some things better than Forza Horizon 5 (rewinding, progression, car customization), but still doesn't reach the level of FH. Also it seems like the entirety of singleplayer campaign you are forced to use loaned cars, it's certainly a game design decision that splits the opinions.

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced10
Jul 26, 2025
12 years since the original release and no other "GTA-clone" hasn't come even close to GTA V. With Enhanced edition RTX upgrades and the NVE mod it even looks better than a lot of modern games. Then there's Online with a decade of updates where you can spend literally thousands of hours and not get bored. It's not without flaws; story was pretty weak and there's this weird mix of missions - one mission you're doing some serious mafia **** then 5 minutes later you're stealing some celebrity's underwear. The collectibles are also insanely hard to find - I found just 4 (letters and alien parts) out of 100 during the last playthrough.

A solid game, which for me became really boring by the middle of Act 2 (there are 3 in total). It got better later, but it's nothing extraordinary. I would definitely suggest researching auto farming and auto mining ASAP.

The best Metro game thanks to somewhat open world nature of it, although the further into the game you are, the less freedom you have. Stealth gameplay is great and the visuals are fantastic. The worst parts of the game are its stupid save game system (just 4 slots) and dialogues. Characters, while voiced very well, speak too slowly and silent protagonist is extremely jarring. You play as a mute idiot who doesn't respond to anyone even during the most emotional or intense situations.8/10

Although this game features some gameplay elements I never like, such as dodging/parrying and confusing navigation (no ability to mark locations, no minimap and often no clear indication if it's a main path you're on or just a exploration detour), the rest easily covers for those annoyances. Graphics are great, locations are gorgeous, music is fantastic, story is interesting and gameplay is great.

I liked the game and it kept me interested until the very end (which is rare). Visually it's great (especially all the environmental effects and explosions during fights and landscapes in the third zone), good audio, interesting companions and exploration. Some of the most notable cons for me were: 1 - Fighting is the same all game long (I played with a wand and a grimoire) - too few types of enemies, too few different magic spells.
2 - Item system was too simple. Basically same items the entire game and the upgrade system was basic. You can't change equipment of your companions either.
3 - Story and dialogues were very lore-heavy, definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

Although this game has massive issues with stealth and fighting, and, considering that these, along with solving puzzles, are the only things you do in this game, it feels weird giving it a 9/10 rating, however, this game is something special. It's easily the most cinematic game I've ever played. Everything audio related is fantastic, insane graphics, interesting (and most importantly, fair) puzzles, interesting plot. As I said, stealth was a huge letdown in terms of enemies not seeing you from a distance of 4 meters and your companion walking around invisible to enemies which breaks immersion big time.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard7
Mar 29, 2025
First of all, I am not a Dragon Age fanatic who hates DAV just because it's different. I loved the Origins and haven't played DA2 and DAI. So I don't really care if gameplay is different. Gameplay: absolutely fine, fighting is nice, I've tried 2 classes (thanks to easy and unlimited respec), although I felt the enemies had too much HP and by level 30 I reduced their health to the lowest amount possible (again, good job on developers for letting us customize game difficulty in detail). The minor gripes are boring loot system (chests) and looting itself, with loot button being the same as jump button, which was frustrating. Graphics and sound: visually this game is fantastic, beautiful scenery, nice effects, good performance, best looking hair I've ever seen. Yet, the cartoonish art style undermined the serious tone of the narrative, making it difficult to take the monsters or dramatic scenes seriously. Additionally, voice acting was lackluster, partially due to weak writing. Characters lacked genuine emotion, making awkward dialogue like casually calling out "Nice one, Rook!" during intense battles feel completely out of place. Story and companions: this game was very similar to Mass Effect 2, which is one of my favorite games, in a way that you build your team, do companion quests to have a chance to successfully complete the final "impossible" mission. However, unlike ME2, this game couldn't make me care about companions (maybe except Emmrich) and it never felt like main character was actually a part of the group. After every mission you go to the unnecessarily huge base with its annoying layout (and a terrible minimap zoom meaning you have to use full map constantly to see which companion wants to whine this time) and just run around from one end to another to have a quick dialogue with your companions. They never come to you, it's your job to babysit them and run after them to try and solve their problems. Some of those are also just massive time wasters, such as: feeding birds, lighting candles, collecting flowers. This really annoyed me. Another notable feature is the game's clear indication of how past decisions influence outcomes and what effect specific dialogue choices will have. Generally, this is beneficial because most RPG players are familiar with unclear or unintended consequences. However, Bioware occasionally made this clarity excessive. For example, after rescuing a merchant from a robber, the game unnecessarily clarifies with, "The merchant gave you a discount because you saved him from a robber," which feels overly obvious.
Yet, when it comes to dialogue choices, this clarity was essential. A memorable example occurred during a conversation with Neve, where choices appeared something like this:
1. "I am staying with you till the end." (Ends all future romance possibilities with Neve.)
2. "I will not leave you." (Locks in Neve as your permanent love interest.)
3. "I am going with you." (Ends all future romance possibilities with Neve.)
Without these clarifying notes, the dialogue would have been frustratingly ambiguous. In general, I was hoping the game was ending at the 30 hour mark, but unfortunately for me, it was only the end of act 1. I did force myself to finish it with the best ending (meaning doing all companion quests), and boy was I happy to finally be done with it.
