Rune Factory 52
May 13, 2022
Sad case **** ruined by bugs, bad optimization, and publisher meddling. I love Rune Factory series, but this game is easily the worst of it so far. It already had a troubled launch in Japan with many bugs, and bad optimization, which were not fixed at all undoubtedly thanks to XSEED, the publisher, forcing the devs to make politically-motivated changes to all versions of the game, and scrap planned DLC bachelorettes... thus by rushed schedules, and American meddling, the game is barely working parody of what it could have been.

The most amazing game on the entire eShop! It better win all the game awards this year or we are gonna riot! (Seriously though... it's still better than TLOU2... just sayin'...)

Amazing game, only held back by some rather pesky bugs(Which I'm sure will be quickly fixed, and then I will feel comfortable giving it 10/10), ignore the dumb wokes, and TLOU2 insane fanatics' rambling, and as long as you have a good enough PC, take a ride to the Night City, and I'm sure it will be one you won't regret!

We finally have an "Assassin's Creed in Japan" only without Ubisoft's usual greedy tactics, and with beautiful graphics, wonderful Japanese atmosphere(Which is surprising given it was made in USA), and great story, which is far more than just simple conflict between attacking Mongols and defending Japanese. This is a game that truly deserves all the praise it gets, and it's a shame Sony instead blew all their marketing budget on that overrated piece of garbage that was TLOU2. This game has far more heart put into it, and it's story than TLOU ever had. The fact that studio and Sony didn't attack people for their opinions on it also helps... Of course game isn't perfect, but it's the best game I played this year so far, so I'm willing to forgive some bugs and few rough edges. And I honestly hope **** Punch will make another game in a Japanese setting... perhaps something in Sengoku Jidai era? Involving Oda Nobunaga(As a major character, not necessarily protagonist...), one of biggest badasses in history? That would be awesome.

The Last of Us Part II3

An insult to fans, and proof of corruption in mainstream games media. The game is beautiful looking, but it is a trainwreck held back by idiotic writing that's insulting to the viewer's intelligence. On top of that the creators' victim complex over the bad reviews, led to many people being attacked for simply disliking the game. TLOU2 is a disgusting creation that deserves to be forgotten.

Persona 510

Probably game of the decade to me. Amazing story, great stylish presentation, awesome characters, and no censorship!(Which sadly happened to the "improved" Royal version...). Amazing Japanese dub also helps, though english is surprisingly not too bad this one time. I definitely recommend anyone who even considers the game might interest them to check it out(Especially since with release of Royal, original should be now dirt cheap, despite being 75% the same game, and without censorship on top of that!)!

Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love9
May 4, 2020
Underrated(Or maybe rather, undermarketed, since the problem is barely anyone heard of it...) gem ****! From the times before NIS America became censor-happy prudes. It even had a separate DVD disc with the whole game containing original Japanese dubbing! I really applaud that effort as the english dub was kinda cringeworthy and it's a shame Wii version didn't include Japanese original voices instead of it. Story is pretty solid, characters a lot of fun(And cute), and while I'm more of a fan of the real-time combat system from the newer PS4 title, the turn based combat here is quite fun too!(Although it tends to get unforgivably hard if you don't use a guide to keep the team's relationship with you at a good level...)

Fire Emblem: Three Houses8
May 3, 2020
Fire Emblem's return to glory after the localization-caused complete failure and insult to western audience's intelligence that was Fates. Story might not be groundbreaking, but it's still very good, gameplay is enjoyable, and characters are really fun to get to know better through the Support conversations. I certainly also enjoy that none of the sides is entirely "good" one, something you notice if you play more than just one campaign(Talking especially to people who played only Blue Lions route... which I personally consider worst of four possible endings). I would give it a 9/10, however I can't help but notice that the game seems somewhat... "sanitized" in development, possibly to avoid offending certain easily offended scumbags who pretend to play games while in reality just being bunch of political activist whiners. For example, there is an odd lack of swimsuit or even towel outfits, which were usually available in Fire Emblem, even though the game has a Sauna, which should be more than enough of a reason for characters to wear towels... but instead they seem to wear really out of place looking potato sack outfits... I mean there is no proof there was any meddling in that regard, but nonetheless I find it suspicious.

Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition1
May 3, 2020
This is a perfect example of how a game can be ruined by inept idiocy of a localization studio, who thinks they know better than original creators, so they rewrite entire script to make it "funnier"... in turn making all characters into complete meme-spouting morons. Only reason it's not getting a 0 is because gameplay is still fine. Nonetheless, definitely the worst Fire Emblem to be ever released.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons8
May 3, 2020
Very solid Animal Crossing experience! Gotta love all the new customization options. That said the game isn't flawless, like how it feels to have taken away some things from earlier games(Like multiple upgrades of the Nook's Cranny, now there's just one), or releasing holidays only as patches, which might be a bit annoying to people with limited internet connections. On another note though, I really hate how certain idiotic pseudo fans harrassed the localization/development team of the game into removing any references to your character's gender in english localization. Hopefully they stop giving in to them, and instead listen to actual fans who play the game, rather than scum who think video games should be used to propagate their political agendas.

Persona 5 Royal5
May 3, 2020
On one hand, it's still the same great Persona 5. On the other hand, it stabs all of it's fans in the back by introducing censorship, and giving in to demands of certain easily offended pseudo-fans who would never buy the game anyway. This is something I simply cannot ignore, no matter how small the censorship itself is. Allowing it to come through, will open a way for much worse changes to be done to future games. With it being a full priced on top of that, I must with a heavy heart give it 5/10 at best, despite giving the original 10/10.

Wonderful game, I really wish it sells well in the west. Great characters, fun battle system, surprisingly varied animations of characters in dialogue. And also very importantly UNCENSORED, nothing was cut out to satisfy easily offended people who would never play the game anyway, and as far as I know translation is very loyal to original Japanese! I really hope this game will mark the end of era of Playstation being most woke-censorship heavy platform!
