Still playing it and would give it a 10 if not for the fact that on release it was broken beyond repair because of a bug that caused crashing when accessing map randomly and it this game you can't simply not use a map, it would be like to being able to attack but after they fixed it it's great so far(same thing happened to me with BG3, huh). A mix of TLoZ: BotW, RDR 2 and AC: Valhalla/Origins/Odyssey with some gacha anime open-world game inspirations without the microtransactions elements(so it crashes them :D)

Pokemon FireRed Version8

I've played it once as a kid on a VBA emulator but didn't experience Sevi Islands back then so it was something new for me. 30 hours, caught all legendaries(also previously unaccessible event ones) and was done with it. All in all I like it but the steep price, no physical version and no HOME support(at least on release) bring this down a bit.

If not for the woke arts for some characters I would give it a 10 but 9 is also great! The RNG is more bearable, there is mana now, story is as engaging as it was in the previous installment. I must also add that this one is easier(at least when going down) but when going to Olymp you can feel a spike in difficulty(especially the final boss fight there). All in all, I am eagerly awaiting next game from Supergiant games but this time with more mythologically/historically accurate depictions of characters if they'' again use some already existing stories/facts as a base.

Bayonetta 37

Average looking game(played it on my Switch 2 but the version i still Switch 1 native) with stable framerate. I rarely play action games such as this one but the convoluted and a bit nonsensical story of Bayonetta pulled me in(except Viola).

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds9

What can i say, it beats Mario Kart World to a bloody pulp! I've boughtit for Switch 1 and upgraded it to Switch 2 version after it released. 1440p and 60fps are are great and even the 1080p experience in handheld mode holds its own. No microtransctions, everything you can get buy playing the game(although getting enough tickets for every part might be a bit tiresome), you can play online on dlc tracks that you don't have, the music(and the collabs!) are so good that I listen to them even when not playing this game(Piko Hammer is my go to song to start running on a threadmill!). Now for the meat: driving is fun, pure fun. Drifting and building up speed is similar to Mario Kart8 Deluxe that I've played for a bit and this Sonic game is the first for me and I'm already in love! I love the fact that skill of driving AND building a good car are both important but the power ups on the track can help you in a pickle even though they might not get you to win the race by themselves, they can at least boost you to a decent position(or break your sanity when you're pushed to the back at the end XD). All in all, that is the best kart racing game at this moment and the only one that can beat it can be a sequel to Sonic Racing or a new Mario Kart if Nintendo can pull their head out of their arse :P

A new type of game from Rebellion that is not very long, quite hard in the beginning and interesting enough to finish it but suffers from lack of normal fast travel that forces you to run a lot without any good reason as well as having a really small inventory space. The backpack is one thing but the storage in the tube is also so small that you will literally have to waste items and not loot everything you see to have some space left. Last thing: I love multiple endings that you can get and the dlc's also add new ones ;)

JDM: Japanese Drift Master8

Polish racing game about japanesse drifting - what else could I ask for? Price is quite good for what it's offering, story is ok but the manga panels put it a bit higher that it would without them. Progression is balanced - you steadily buy new cards and then upgrade them to participate in the next race. There is also a year long road map with free updates so this title will keep entertaining us for a bit ;)

After finishing Clair Obscur I went to play this... thing. Music is top notch, as always, and the new battle system is engaging(they've basically copied xenoblade chronicles). Story has it's moments, especially towards the end but lack of evil organization(or even a person) seriously brings down overall grading in this instance.
The animation and graphics... omg, I didn't know that Game Freak is stuck in late PS2/early PS3 era but that what the buildings and copy/paste animations in quests says about this game.
The cherry on top of all the cons is of course lack of voice acting. Since moving from a handheld system to a hybrid device and making a full 3D game with aon open/semi-open world the lack of voices is a glaring issue and will be even more so with each new instalment in the series, especially the next one because gen 10 will be only released on Switch 2 so another generation of consoles. No VA in this highest valued IP in the world is just plain stupid and anyone defending it is really blinded by nostalgia towards the series as well as Nintendo as a whole.

I'll start with what went wrong:
- movement is not suitable for platforming sections
And now what they did right:
- story
- world building
- combat system
- FREAKING SOUNDTRACK That's enough. If you're reading this just go play this game of the century contender.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R8

I love 2.5 HD style since Octopath Traveler. As for the story it's pretty simple but more enjoyable than what is released today with a fantasy and sci-fi mix :) Also, mechanics were ahead of it's time so even the remake doesn't feel clunky or ancient which shows it's timeless value. I recommend it to all that love RPGs from Japan but not turn based only.

Persona 3 Reload10

First game I'm reviewing here so: emotional rollercoaster. That perfectly sums up this game. From start to finish I was immeresed in living the school life and fighting shadows during the night. A perfect remake(they've recently announced the missing dlc!) that I must recommend to anyone wanting a great story, engaing combat and attention to details. After finishing it I've felt empty. The same feeling accompanied me after concluding Mass Effect 2, The Witcher 3, Gothic 2, Read Dead Rdemption 2 or Persona 5 Royal. That's a feeling reserved for only the best games...

Since release day: crashed when trying to boot up the game and when once it loaded it then crashed in the menu after I've created my character. Game it's not even working so giving it anything higher than 0 with these issues is jsut a blatant lie. PS. Additionally, all the character voice line are AI generated, radio-like slop. Boycott these practices.

Beautiful protagonist based on a real life model, light combat system akin to Jedi Survivor(but at the end of story the difficulty spikes up to sekiro/soulsborn levels), a homage to Nier Automata which it excels(confirmed by the former creator, Yoko Taro). What's there to dislike? Truly a game that all Western developers should look up to :)

Persona 3 Reload - Episode Aigis: The Answer3
Sep 27, 2024
I like the story but the whole dragged out dungeon section? I had to lower difficulty halfway through to somehow speed it up because I stopped enjoying it after fighting a sponge enemy for the n-th time while getting next to no story progress. Only at the end I felt a sense of accomplishment when seeing what really happened at the end of the base game. Price is also outrageous but I had i included in Game Pass so if you want to know the story play it there on easiest difficulty or watch story bits on YouTube. Don't buy this mess.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth8

Graphics are a lot better than the common shimmering that was prevalent in Yakuza 7,story itself is long andengaging altough it shows that Ichiban is still years behind Kiryu when it comes to it so he takes a backseat even though we play 3/4 of the game as Ichiban. Combat is greatly improved, it's still a turn-based RPG but you must be active because of button prompts on attacks and active blocking on enemy turns as well as even positioning correctly on the battlefield to make chain attacks. Minigames are still as good as they were because they were already perfect since Yakuza 0 so every other game needs to look up to Yakuza/Like a Dragon series and take a note. Overall it was almost a perfect game if not for focusing on a worse protagonist(Ichiban) and RGG still not knowing how to make a compelling romance(the only exception is surprisingly Kaito Files dlc for Lost Judgment which handled protagonist love interest quite well).

Kingdom Come: Deliverance8

Second time playing it to better prepare myself for the upcoming sequel so in short: great and engaging combat(even ranged ;P), deep story about medieval europe(without forced diversity so it's already a GOTY) but with some small technical issues even 6 years after release together with horrible save system(so it's only playable on PC with mods) but despite that I would put it beside Mass Effect 2, The Witcher 3 or Fallout New Vegas because of how it excels in what is most important: being a true RPG.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor8

Great game, almost perfect length because I only felt fatigue after the main story when I wanted to finish up all the optional content(which I didn't xD). Graphics are great as well as the peroformance but even though I've played this games 11 months after it's release there are still some minor bugs and twice I was kicked out of the game. Those kind of issues should be happening on release but not now so that's the biggest takeaway. Still,it's the best Star Wars story since... it's prequel because latest movies and series are average or just plain bad.
