Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit4
Dec 9, 2021
Despite its strong artistic vision, Hell Yeah! ends up loosing focus and not doing anything particularly well. The mechanics are a complete mess and at the same time bring nothing new to the genre. The jokes are terrible, maybe on purpose but still... Mini-games when you kill a monster get repetitive real quick and the sound effects (actually good) get overshadowed by loud music often.

Far Cry 69

Far Cry 6 is a shooter that develops its campaign on the fictional island of Yara, an exotic place with similarities to Cuba and with an unscrupulous dictator named Anton Castillo. We put on the skin of Dani Rojas and right from the start we have the choice between a female or male character, both well developed in terms of acting and their lines. Against our will we get involved with a group of guerrillas after a failed attempt to escape from the island that is being increasingly dominated by its leader, and in the streets we hear gunshots, screams, and cries of despair, which are mixed with the sounds of partying, music, and propaganda. In fact, if there is one sound that stands out, it is the propaganda that we hear throughout our adventures and that becomes ingrained in our ears. It can be said that the whole narrative is well put together, whether through powerful and meaningful cutscenes, deep conversations between characters, or details scattered around the map. It's impossible not to notice the importance of the role that our character will play, establishing itself as a crucial part of the narrative, as for example when helping the Libertad guerrillas to recruit key pieces for the revolution and taking down the main transigents of the current power. I felt that the secondary characters on the side of good had good screen time to create connections with them and understand their motives and what they believe in, although some of them are extremely caricaturised, but I must admit that never to the point of becoming unrealistic. On the other side, their evil counterparts sometimes lacked the relevance necessary to make them iconic, perhaps to enhance the brilliant performance of Giancarlo Esposito as the villain of the story, we can say that he really is a villain in the image of Far Cry, the only improvement would be just to give him a little more air time. On the other hand what didn't need more time were the main missions, I felt the game dragged a little more than necessary making some of the missions near the end seem a little repetitive. Still this detail doesn't detract from the overall experience. The gunplay is excellent! Fun and with a huge range of weapons to try, and through a crafting system we have access to various accessories, including different ammunition for various situations, adding to this we have the Supremos that are nothing less than backpacks, each with a special power, for example one that launches missiles at enemies, one that heals and lets us revive, among others of equal importance. In terms of movement we are introduced to guerrilla trails, these trails are paths off the main streets laid out by former guerrillas to facilitate the mobility and possible ambushes, moreover there is a wide selection of means of land transportation, air transportation and sea transportation, which can be accessed in multiple camps. In the main camps we can also access various stores that can be upgraded by collecting materials that we gather throughout our journey, but materials are not all we can find on the road, since there is a giant choice of clothing and accessories that are only available when found, each outfit providing buffs or different stats to the player, this, added to the various side missions, zone achievements, treasure hunts and mini-games provides content for hundreds of hours. All this exploration can be done in co-op mode by joining a friend's campaign for extra fun, not that you need a friend to eliminate enemies since the artificial intelligence is one of the worst I have ever seen in a game of this quality which creates completely ridiculous moments in gameplay. Other than that, the contact with bugs was minimal, only what is expected for a world as big as Yara's. On the art side, the game managed to perfectly capture the feeling of the exotic island, with beautiful landscapes and a gorgeous color palette. Over and over again I found myself simply noticing the details of nature and its animals. The sound of the weapons is satisfying, as is that of the explosions and other events during combat. The same can be said for the perfectly chosen soundtrack. We can not end this review without talking about our beloved animals that always accompany us for each mission or walk and that remain useful from beginning to end of the game in the most diverse situations. The feeling that remains in Far Cry 6, is that it does not depart from the formula of past titles in the franchise and that's not exactly a bad thing, The game managed to improve the aspects that needed improvement, while still providing a phenomenal story and a remarkable experience.

Toren7

This game is small, has it's problems gameplay wise, including the combat being basically nonexistent and the puzzle mechanics easily solvable by a 6 year old. Has a few bugs, a few textures look bad and the facial expressions are a mess. BUT if you can ignore all that, what you are presented with is an amazing artistic drive with colourful sights, charming animals, sunlight looking through the cracks of the mighty tower you are trying to climb while listening to an amazing orchestra soundtrack with stunning timing to make it all a spiritual journey I'd never thought I would be faced with in this game. Also loved the metaphors and philosophical focus that leaves us room to make our own understanding of the story behind Toren. All in all, the game should've been cheaper but I still recommend you to try this 2-4h gameplay.

Love the foot mechanics with the analogics, great way to control what you're doing. The game's straight to the point, no story mode, no scoreboards no nothing, just skating freely which honestly is refreshing in this genre however I would say it's ESSENTIAL to add a multiplayer mode where you can skate around with your friends in order for the gameplay not to turn repetitive after a while. Customizing your character lacks in facial and body options but makes up for it in stylish clothes and boards. To add to it, you can download modded clothes, maps and boards made by the community but unfortunately the game still feels overpriced for the content it has at the moment.

House Flipper5

It's a good simulator overall with appropriate graphics to match and okay sound effects, lots of items too which give you the idea that you can really have an impact on the game but unfortunalety I don't feel like what you do to the house really changes too much of what the buyers will pay. It's an easy game but gets really boring after a while in my opinion, setting up some items also gets boring quick. But what gets to me the most is the fact that you have to pay for DLC to costumize the gardens, makes no sense and shoudl've been on the release version. That and the fact that you can't change the windows. Okay game that could've been way better with the right decisions.

It encapsulates the vibe from 80's horror movies perfectly. The ambient is spooky with very dark tones and splatters of blood everywhere, the audio effects add to this and get your heart racing when you're trying to get away from the killer or hear a scream from across the map. Unfortunately this very unique concept was destroyed by technical errors that keep people from fully enjoying the experience and the visual bugs take away from the immersion. I'd still reccomend to try it out for yourself as it's still a good game with a lot of nice DLC's, but leaves you wondering "what could've been".

The combat system doesn't feel good in any of the many modes, it just doesn't work how it's supposed to especially because some maps are way too big for the 10 player limit. The beautiful scenarios and sound design however, end up saving the experience pulling our nostalgia strings to make us feel like we're in the toys world.

80's Miami was a hub for drugs and violence, you see that clearly in this game. You experience it through a crazy, nightmare inducing storyline where nothing is explained to you, you're left alone trying to figure it out as you murder every single person in your path, creating a bloody mess while listening to the most perfect soundtrack maybe ever.

The gameplay feels amazing and you will learn stuff quickly. Artstyle of the gods is probably my favorite part. Mythology instead of "made up" characters is pretty cool!
