Edited REview: This game is amazing, intuitive, and entertaining. I'd give it a higher score, but there are a few annoying flaws.. When you taking pictures and want to flip through them, it's not very intuitive. When you want to take pictures of the landscape, it's more trial and error than precision. Additionally, when you walk close to ledges, the game seems to want to throw you off at times for unknown reasons. This is only the beginning. There's all sorts of glitches where you have to restart the level if you do 1 thing wrong and you if you jump towards the top of the screen, it actually knocks you down in a dumb way that i thought Mario taught us not to design games in that way. This game, if tweaked, could have easily gotten a 9 or a 10, but i think an 6 is a reasonable score, as it stands.

Outside of SC:BW, it's the best RTS out there. I've put hundreds of hours into this game and enjoyed almost every minute of it. Right now zerg is super imba, (I play random), and the game seems to suffer from waves of imba ness.

Let me say this. I could have easily given the game a 9 or 10. It's a Puzzle type mega man game with no bosses. Most of the solutions are very intuitive, but there's a lot about the game to be griped about The boxes that eject you are poorly designed. It's basically finding a rhythm and has little to do with skill. The ones that shoot up that protect you from spikes are not about skill and about spamming A or ZR until it shoots you so you don't risk dying. Very poor design It's unforgiving. When you switch boxes from visible to invisible(Think Gianna sisters coins), there's little room for error. If you even have a few pixels in the area as the box becomes visible during a switch, you die. This leads to cheesy tactics like jumping to bump against boxes and switching at the very last tactic. It's not fun nor well designed. Otherwise, it's a great game. It is incredibly short though. You can easily beat this game in 2 hours. The devs could've made this game a 9 with a few small changes.

Potentially addictive game, horrible controls. I can see how this could have done well on the iOS. With a touchscreen, the controls would've been very intuitive. On an xbox 360 controller and/or keyboard, the controls are sloppy and you are often extremely underestimating or overestimating how far you have to move the triangle you are controlling and you die not due to a mistake in calculations, but due to sloppy controls. This could easily be patched though, so i will amend my review upon fixing.

Old graphics, reactionary story line full of ridiculous propaganda. The first level you're playing a white dude fighting for a pro-Apartheid group fight against those trying to eliminate apartheid. They don't say that ,but if you know African history it's pretty simple. There's pretty much zero immersion. They tried to put all these little things like rope swinging and bat flying in, but they're stupid and cumbersome

Since the late 80s, i stopped being a big platformer fan, but this is exactly the kind of game i like. It's inexpensive, playful, creative, and has very little level grind(a few levels make you fedex back and forth, but it's only a tiny bit so far). I picked up this game on the steam sale for $2.49 and am very pleased with it.

Creative? Yes. Innovative? Yes. Good for a quick laugh? Definitely. It ends there though. This game is Marble Madness(without the silly loops and curves) meets tower defense. Though, for 2.49 on steam sale, it's reasonably priced. The problem with this game is that it has no balance, meta, or lasting fun. Everything about this game can be explored in the first 10-15 minutes and there's nothing to look forward to after that. Positioning of defenses seemed useless against a skilled marbler. Installed it on a free weekend, enjoyed playing it for about 5 minutes, and then the rest was zzzzz.

This game isn't bad, but neither is it great. I was hoping for something a long the line's of a more bubbly American Mcgee's "Alice", but what i got was a very gimmicky platformer that focuses more on making you switch "stances" and jumping through hoops than it does on actual quality game design. The art is beautiful for a bubbly game, but by the time i was done with the first level i was already sick of the gimmick. I played 3 levels before quitting out out of boredom with the combat/gimmicks. The biggest problem with this game is that it's a straight up skinner box. There are no alternative routes(other than ignoring gems) or puzzles that i came across(in my short play). Everything was was hoops to jump and rejump through. I imagine anyone from 4-12 would really love this game. They wouldn't catch on or be annoyed by the gimmicks and would love the artwork(It's not too adult or offensive for that age). Otherwise, i think adults will tire of it's lack of innovation and only keep playing it for the well done art and because they want to get through it. This game had potential, and i really wanted to like it. Maybe it will get better later, but i would hold off until a 2.49 steam sale on this one.

Rating of the 2012 release: Overrated, despite it underselling. This game is extremely gimmicky. It's main gimmick is darkness. You remove that, and it's your run of the mill uncreative puzzle platformer. The levels are easy, but not intuitive. They designed the game so you'll die 3-5 times per level on random, unexpected spots and called this good design. These guys seem really cool, but there is a reason this game hasn't sold well. It's extremely niche to gamers who don't see through old tricks. Additionally, it doesn't even natively support controllers, at least not the standard wireless xbox 360 setup most of us use, even though it was originally made for the PS3.

Changes from FIFA'12 you'll notice Smarter through balls, especially from mid to wing.
Smarter/more realistic juking of goaltender at close range.
The game feels tweaked a baby bit slower in some situations. For example, rebounds off the keeper feel more realistic and button mashing clears feel more contested. Collision detection feels improved. Juking before you pass feels more effective.
The shooting feels tweaked so that less balls have wild variance (more new player friendly. It's too soon to tell if it's been dumbed down). I'd ignore the reviews from garbage sites like Game Informer. They clearly have not played Fifa '12 at all and do not understand soccer. My review is from a lifelong Men's A(top div recreational) soccer player who has a solid brain for the game but lacking a bit of athleticism :)
