As live-action Disney remakes go, not the worst. But still, overly gaudy. I did enjoy how the ending had a bit more weight than the original, but other than that, not very memorable. The CG is so "perfect" looking that it looks like the characters are standing in front **** painting in certain scenes. I just wish Disney would have spent more time developing new stories instead of rehashing old ones.

Chock full of awful, on-the-nose dialogue, glaring plot holes, and unimaginative humor, this film's only redeeming quality is the action sequence at the end and a reasonably interesting villain. Why do all of Netflix's animated films feel like Disney knockoffs? If you want a film about a kid befriending a robot and facing evil together, go watch Big Hero 6.

This film is honestly in the running for the worst I've ever seen. It's filled with random apocalyptic events that are never explained and the protagonists doing stupid things. The ending is nearly devoid of any sense of closure at all. Do not waste 113 min of your life viewing this nonsense.

This is probably the best Netflix original film I've seen thus far. ...Unfortunately, that's not saying much, given the poor quality of most I've seen. That being said--if Disney/Pixar's Onward didn't already exist, I would have given it 1-2 more rankings, as this is essentially an Asian folklore version of that. Too bad it isn't as good. Oh well, I didn't expect that much from this anyway.
