"No One Will Save You" makes use of some classic stylistic elements of the horror movie, but it is definitely not the typical science fiction horror movie. The film dispenses almost entirely with verbal communication and instead makes use of other audiovisual means. Something that we already know from films like "A Quiet Place", for example, and which has also been implemented excellently here. Kaitlyn Dever delivers a great performance as the main character (Brynn) and definitely carries this film. The story itself is pretty freaky and, in my opinion, is also brought to an appropriate conclusion. With this type of story, that's not always easy to do without it seeming too ridiculous, absurd or out of place. I would describe the film as a psycho thriller with a sci-fi touch. If you have no problems with a few jump-scares and are fed up with the typical unimaginative Hollywood flicks copied 100 times, you will surely like this movie. However, the sci-fi component is not necessarily the strongest part of this film and seems a bit cliché in parts, which is why I take a few points off the rating.

Imho one of the worst Shyamalan films. You usually know what you're in for with these films, but the plot, the development and the foreseeable twist are just too absurd here. It belongs to the category of films where I would like to have the wasted time back.

This film unfortunately joins the ranks of Shyamalan's bad films and doesn't even come close to his good ones. The story of "Knock at the Cabin" has the typical mystery traits of the Shyamalan films, but unfortunately drifts too much into common religious prophecies that have been seen similarly hundreds of times in movies. That's why the development of the entire story is enormously predictable and thus loses the unique mysterious touch. What's left is that you spend much of the film rather bored or shaking your head. Overall, the film ranks above the grotty "After Earth" and "Old" films, but ranks far below movies like "The Sixth Sense" or "Unbreakable". My advice: it's not worth spending your time on it, let alone spending a dime on it.

A film full of detailed and extreme violence and explicit sex scenes that can at best be described as psychedelic. The story is not very deep or original, nor is the production. The only horror in this film is attempted through detailed scenes of violence, but they feel completely random. Tension is not created in a single scene. In the end, you wonder why you put yourself through this movie.

First of all: I've seen all Alien movies, even all Alien vs Predator movies. So believe me if I say this movie is not worth mentioning in any context of the Alien saga, it's even worse than Alien Resurrection. I wish I would have never seen Prometheus since (at least for me) it ruins the whole Alien story. The story of this movie is just horrible and stupid and so are most of the characters. I got so annoyed by the stupidity of so many characters that all I wanted to do is constantly slap them in the face. It was so bad that I was more annoyed than entertained. So why am I not giving this movie a 0/10? Because despite the horrible characters most of the actors did a decent job. The atmosphere is okay but nothing compared to the first and second Alien movies, CGI and sound effects are okay and so is the music.
