An overall good movie excellent Saturday night in movie.... But as a star wars movie lacks substance. Pacing would have benefitted from the movie being cut in two parts. Then perhaps it wouldn't have needed to rely on novels to fill the gaps in story. john boyega needed more screen time and a better story. needed the fan service to be toned down 7/10. May the force be with you. Disney needs to up the game with better story for its characters.

If you take "Star Wars" from the title this isn't a bad movie / romp for a Saturday evening.... However if you look at it as a star wars fan it has its flaws / plot holes. However I like that it points out you don't need to be a skywalker / palpatine to be apart of star wars. There were other jedi & sith… Maul, Ashoka anyone?? 7/10

a lot of up & coming actors in this cheesy but funny caper. Could be called a precursor for the police academy movies.

Fantastic movie.. protagonist isn't actually Kurt Russell. Although it makes out he is. Effects are dated but still doesn't detract from the fun of this movie
