This game is one of the best JRPGs I've ever played, well let's review this. The story is both interesting and time-consuming, the story is divided into three phases, the entire game takes about 100 hours to finish, so if you have the time, then you can finish it. The gameplay is a simple turn-based RPG, it's fun and intuitive. The graphics are spectacular, and the updated soundtrack is amazing, you can feel the passion put into it. The cast of characters is all quite interesting and they show personality. Depending on your perspective, this might be one of the best JRPGs that you might ever play and according to me, this was a fun experience, Dragon Quest XI S is up there with FFX and KH2. For me, this was a great experience, it does have a few minor/major flaws, but I'm willing to overlook them. The game gets a score of 9.8!

It's a lot of fun for friends and family, it has a lot of quirks and features which make this game really good. It's neat that you can play with an audience up to 10,000 and you can activate a family-friendly mode to avoid the game using prompts that is suggestive or inappropriate. It's fun to play this with at least four or five people. It's not all that fun with three players. My experience with this game was really fun and I had some laughs but in my opinion, this game ain't great... Good thing I bought this game at the price of nine cents ($0.09).

Mini-Review: It's a pretty great game. I really wouldn't say it's a Breath of the Wild clone, since I've played Breath of the Wild. It's really nice to play a game with a similar landscape and graphics as Breath of the Wild. It's far from excellent, but it has room to improve, I don't really mind about the whole "gacha" thing. Once you get used to the gameplay, you'll find that it's pretty solid and deep. I definitely recommend Genshin Impact for people who want a similar experience with Breath of the Wild or for people who want to play a great free-to-play anime game. P.S: Stop saying that this is a Breath of the Wild clone!

A few weeks before this game was released, this game suddenly intrigued me with its gameplay and visuals. When I got to play this game, it was a great experience and quite challenging too. Story: 9/10 “The story almost motivated me to play more.” Gameplay: 9/10 “Yeah, I guess it's somewhat repetitive. But the graphics and the gameplay itself might still motivate you to play some more. Graphics/Visuals: 10/10 “Stunning and beautiful, just how I expected it to be.” Music: 9/10 “The music is worth listening to and it’s very “anime”!” Difficulty: 8.5/10 “It’s quite challenging, that’s it. And a few bosses are complex.” Characters: 9/10 “Hm... The cast of characters is respectable and probably memorable.” This game was quite phenomenal for a “Nintendo Switch” game! And one of the quite memorable ones, too. Though it’s repetitive at times, that doesn’t stop me from playing more! Now, the score is, 9.4! [10]

Luigi's Mansion 3, this game is like Luigi Mansion & Dark Moon was mixed in together to make this awesome game. Let me start off with something so detailed and great, which is the cinematic cut-scenes. Seriously, it looks like a beautiful animated movie! The game-play is like the first and second game-play combined into this! The suction shot is really good and handy but the slam function takes a lot of the "Ghost-busters" action into just slamming ghosts back and forth. There are some tough puzzles along the way, but being logical and to think outside the box will solve it! The story is overall great and the cast of different types of ghosts and portrait ghosts. The portrait ghosts (from the first game) are basically bosses but these bosses can be from easy and simple to really challenging and quite unique. The difficulty is tough and a bit challenging. It's quite a bit disappointing that the ghost battles (not boss battles) aren't hard enough, including towards the late-game content. Also, it feels there isn't enough ghosts battles, basically we need more battles with ghosts, it feels like I'm not encountering them enough per floor. Also, the game isn't scarier as the first two Luigi's Mansion games, but it's still scary! Other than that the game is spectacular! From cinematic cut-scenes to fighting challenging and unique bosses, this game is fun, scary, unique and has marvelous graphics! So, I give this game a score of 9! [9]

This is my first Kairosoft game, I've played the demo on my Nintendo Switch and then bought the game on my iPad. And let me tell you, this simulation game is highly enjoyable and addicting! Now to review this. The gameplay is pretty much straight-forward, make video games, use ideal genre combos, do some marketing, hire and fire staff, controlling the direction and speed of game development and more! There are lots of fun and unpredictable events to make this game addicting and charming. The graphics are very appealing and it's trying to look like old-school graphics. The music is nothing special, but it's kinda repetitive. I wouldn't say the music is annoying but you're better off putting your own music in the background. I've mentioned about unpredictable events, they're kind of suspenseful, stimulating or exciting. So the unpredictability in this game is fun and it reminds me of the unpredictability in Help Wanted: 50 Wacky Jobs (check out my review for that game). I've loved Game Dev Story, it's really fun and charming. Once you've reached the end of this game, you can enter some form of "New Game+". This game is worth the money and will occupy multiple hours of your time. I use save scumming to get better results when making my video games in game development. You should buy this game on this iOS and not on the Nintendo Switch because playing on iOS is more convenient and slightly cheaper than on Nintendo Switch. This is one of the best Kairosoft games out there, and it's worth trying out! And the score is... 9.3! (10)

So, what video games did I have, which I didn't finish yet, to play between December 2019 and January 2020? Pokemon Sword, the second route of Fire Emblem Three Houses and Final Fantasy 4 on the ioS. So basically, three RPGs. The last two RPGs I've said about, I've made really slow progress on them. But when I remember Octopath Traveler existed, (last I've heard about Octopath Traveler was from one Nintendo Direct and more than a couple of Youtube thumbnails) I've looked at some of the trailers and played the 3-hour demo... And I was amazed by the 3-hour experience I had with the Octopath Traveler demo and so, I've bought the game! This experience, which took me at least 85-hours to finish, was a great one and so it's time to review OCTOPATH Traveler! Also, today's my birthday! P.S. MY FOCUS IS UNPARALLELED!!! You play as one of the eight travelers and make him/her your protagonist (I chose Cyrus), you start to embark on your protagonist's journey, and recruit the other seven travelers and progress their stories as well. Some traveler's stories (in many chapters) are really deep, dark, captivating or engaging, while other stories (in some chapters) are kinda lackluster and not really engaging. But the overall story is really engaging itself and there is an optional extended post-game story with a truly difficult final boss battle (let me remind you again that this is optional). The gameplay is really creative, in which you have to break your enemies' weaknesses, and each traveler has their own jobs, in which they have their own abilities, attacks, and support skills. There are secondary jobs, in which they're your traveler's jobs and four secret jobs/classes but you'll probably need a guide for the secondary jobs and the four secret jobs/classes. The visuals are absolutely outstanding and it definitely recaptures the 16-bit JRPGs. Seriously, you might want to stop playing the game to just look at the surroundings. The characters' and bosses' sprites have so much detail put into them, and they just look great! The music is very amazingly orchestrated. But when it comes to the music in battles and boss-battles, it's really mindblowing! You should really appreciate the musicians and people who went for all of that effort in making Octopath Traveler's outstanding music. You should watch this Youtube video, "How Octopath Traveler Hypes its Boss Battles", as it explains the music of Octopath Traveler and the transitions from this music piece to this boss battle theme. When it comes to the side-stories (side-quests), lots of the side-stories don't really tell you (or at all) of what to do in the side-stories. You'll really need a guide for the side-stories. And it doesn't really help that the optional extended post-game story is locked behind at least six side-stories. Yup, you'll really need a guide for this. The cast of characters is genuinely likable and unique, and the voice-acting is from well-done to extremely brilliant and talented. (I might be somewhat exaggerating) The difficulty is truly quite tough, it really depends on what level your team is. On the map (of where it tells you where the traveler's next location is), it shows the traveler's next destination (in the next chapter) for their respective story, and it also shows what is the recommended level for the next chapter. I definitely recommend leveling your team (so basically grinding) around the recommended level. If the boss is too hard for you, either go to another's traveler's chapter or grind your team a few more levels. For really difficult boss battles, you'll need to understand the jobs' (and secret jobs') abilities, skills and support skills. So basically, for a difficult boss battle, you'll need to know what you're doing in the boss battle and to have a good (and solid) plan. It takes a lot of strategy and logical thinking to win a difficult boss battle. For the optional secret post-game story final boss, it takes massive amounts of strategy and critical thinking to win that boss battle, so GOOD LUCK! There are multiple flaws within this game, from how broken the gameplay is (like exploiting the secret jobs' abilities), to how grinding works in this game. Seriously, there are a lot of minor and broken flaws in this game. Octopath Traveler is partially excellent, and one of the greater JRPGs out there and this game will always have a special place in my heart. This game could've been better, but they tried and it worked somewhat perfectly well! From outstanding visuals to great voice-acting, how could you hate this game? (Well, there's the flaws...) Well, I really recommend trying out the Octopath Traveler demo for yourselves, and then you can decide whether to buy this game or not. The score for Octopath Traveler is... 9.2! (9)

Ah, Kingdom Hearts 2, an excellent JRPG that I loved. (I didn't say it was a masterpiece). The JRPG sequel (to the first game) that's a crossover between Final Fantasy & Disney. Today's my birthday and Kingdom Hearts 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. And also the Kingdom Hearts franchise is very much both important and changed my overall life and a franchise I cherish so deeply in my heart, regardless of how confusing it is, so that why I'm reviewing this game. DISCLAIMER: I've played Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix (on HD 2.5 Remix (for PS3)) and not the original one, but it's the same game, right? (Also before I wrote this review, I've only played Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix) Let's start off with the game-play, the game-play is similar from the first Kingdom Hearts, but they improved it greatly. They fixed the camera problems from the previous Kingdom Hearts game, and now the camera controls won't be annoying anymore. The story is overall great, especially the beginning of the game, it's fantastic. It's surprising that the beginning of the game is fantastic. There are four difficulties, Beginner, Standard, Proud and Critical. I've played it on proud mode, and it's seriously difficult. The bosses are very challenging and sometimes you have to learn and adapt their move-set to be able to dodge their attacks for a better chance of survival and it takes a lot of perseverance, patience, and endurance to get through the hardest of story boss battles and post-game boss battles. Kingdom Hearts 2 contains a cast of very likable characters (included with Final Fantasy characters) with a great emotional story. I recommend playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on Proud Mode. If this is your first Kingdom Hearts game or you think you're not perfect at the game-play then choose Standard Mode! I also recommend playing the first Kingdom Hearts game. Also, I recommend Kingdom Hearts Chain (or Re: Chain) of Memories. (You have the choice of playing Kingdom Hearts COM (RE: COM) if you want to.) This game is really great and it's a recommended JRPG to play. So, I give a score of 9.8. [10]

Sonic Colors is my first Sonic game that I’ve fully played, it was a fun experience and I appreciated the basic story and tough platforming. Let’s do this! The story is really basic, and maybe a bit quirky. The gameplay is really smooth, there are 3D and 2D sections in levels, which adds a bit of creativity into the mix. The Wisps are basically the powerups in Sonic Colors, it’s a great thing to add. The boss battles are kinda underwhelming, but obviously the best boss fight is the final boss of Sonic Colors. The visuals looks almost stunning and the music is definitely good. Sometimes, platforming can be quite tedious. To me, Sonic Colors is great game, the visuals and gameplay are really smooth itself. When compared to Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations, I don’t really know which is better. But nonetheless, it’s was a good experience to play this game. So, the review is... 8.5! (8)

My first Final Fantasy, I've played both X and X-2, while X is excellent, X-2 is pretty great and X-2 Last Mission is added content for the HD remaster and it kinda ****. This game will make you cry if you don't cry or feel emotional, then you're heartless! (Get it?) Time to review this... Final Fantasy X: The story is simply fantastic and slightly complicated. You just need to know that it takes place in Spira and you're on a pilgrimage with a summoner and guardians, overcoming hardships and challenges to defeat the villain of the game, Sin. Especially the ending, the end will make you cry! The gameplay completely feels like a traditional JRPG turn-based combat, and instead of experience to level up, you have the sphere grid, which can increase your stats and learn new moves after you've gained some AP. The graphics look slightly better than the original PS2 graphics, although I prefer the original anyways. The music is very great, composed by Masashi Hamauzu, and Suteki Da Ne (which translates to "Isn't It Wonderful?") is a really beautiful song. The characters are quite memorable and the minigames are quite tedious themselves. Final Fantasy X-2: Although some people say that the story is kinda bad or mediocre, I would say the story is really good! Despite the story being technically a downgrade from FFX, at least the story is simpler to understand than in FFX. It **** that the game doesn't tell you that there are multiple endings (there are six), so you have to search up how to get the good ending. Well, the good ending is actually the normal ending but it added an emotional ending cutscene which might make you cry. The gameplay doesn't use the traditional game mechanics that FFX had, but they brought back the active battle system with additions to it! There's a new game mechanic called Dresspheres, which basically you change your character's classes. FFX-2 is now actually a mission-based game, but you have the freedom to explore anywhere in Spira. The visuals look very great in FFX-2, but I don't know if PS2 graphics are better though. There are many music pieces in FFX-2, a few are great lyrical songs, so the music is really great. FFX Eternal Calm is a long cutscene that acts as a short prequel to FFX-2, basically not a game. FFX-2 Last Mission isn't enjoyable because the gameplay is quite similar to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, technically a ripoff. I only play it for around ten minutes or more, the gameplay feels hard to me and although not knowing the story, it feels kinda generic and highly linear. FFX Will is a really long (cutscene) movie which is basically incomprehensible or what I've heard from critics. I don't know what FFX Will is about but it's definitely recommended to NOT watch it at all if you don't want your experience of FFX and FFX-2 to be absolutely ruined. It's THAT bad! Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster is a great remaster itself while the new story additions were mediocre. Final Fantasy X was my first Final Fantasy game while X-2 is my second, I guess it's recommended to JUST playing ONLY X and X-2. It was really nice to cry at a video game again, the experience was unforgettable and beautiful. I'm truly blessed to play Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy X is truly one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. Now, the score is... 9.6! (10)

When I was waiting for Mario Party 9 to come out in 2012, believe or not, I was a bit hyped. When I finally played Mario Party 9, I enjoyed it bit. Now thinking back, the game kinda ****. It doesn’t use the core game mechanics that the previous Mario Party games had. Mario Party 9 was developed by NDcube, not Hudson Soft because Hudson Soft is bankrupted. Well, let’s review this... P.S. R.I.P Hudson Soft (and Bomberman) The story is mainly generic, and without the original’s game mechanics, it doesn’t really feel like a Mario Party game, there’s no exploration or immersive settings and events that makes Mario Party really great. The cast of characters are pretty good, and there’s a variety of game modes to play and they’re really fun. The mini games are fun and challenging, but there’s a lack of motion controls and variety of mini games. Mario Party 9 doesn’t feel like a full board game to me. But on the bright side, overall it’s enjoyable and pretty fun with friends and family. There’s not a lot to say about this game, but it’s at least enjoyable despite not using Mario Party’s original core game mechanics. The score is... 7.3 (7).

I didn’t know about this game until it came out, but I’m glad I bought this game. This is a unique LEGO game which takes place in an open-world setting. From the funny humor to memorable characters, this game is worth buying for. P.S I bought this game on the Wii U. (Not for Switch, PS4 or Xbox One) The story is pretty great, the main character, Chase McCain, is a cop who’s brought back to LEGO city to catch a well-known criminal. The story builds up from there, it’s an experience worth coming back to. The gameplay is an experience to play as, using the gameplay from other LEGO games, they added more into it. The visuals and music are very pleasurable. This game comes with really funny humor and memorable characters with impressive voice acting. The post-game content is large, it feels that you want to collect everything in this game and find it’s hidden secrets. Also there’s Nintendo references in the game! This game is full of charm and excitement. The only problem is the really long loading times and I think there’s a mission where I soft-locked myself (I don’t fully remember though...). This game is both kid-friendly and the LEGO version of GTA, I pretty much love this game and this might be one of the funniest games I’ve ever played. There are a couple of flaws in it, but those flaws are ignored since this is a open-world sandbox LEGO game and I don’t remember those flaws. This game is simply fantastic, so the score is... 9.2! (9)

PAC-man Party is merely a game for everyone, but the 3ds version of it really ****. I both have the Wii and 3ds copies of PAC-man Party (for some reason...), the Wii version is six time more enjoyable than the 3ds version. What kind of board game is it? Something similar to monopoly and Mario Party. It’s somewhat any fun on the 3ds version. The mini games are quite enjoyable, but that’s probably the only good thing in this game. Party games on handheld are pretty pointless (or entirely pointless), since you’re only playing it alone, but you can play with other people locally if they have a copy of the game or not. At least the mini games feels slightly immersive and really fun. PAC-man Party is both enjoyable yet unpleasant, so the score is... 5.1 (5).

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories Review (in a nutshell) P.S: My review was originally long, but my review was all deleted and gone. Now, I’m kinda frustrated so I putting this review in a nutshell. Re: Chain of Memories is a continuation of Kingdom Hearts and the story is pretty good. The card gameplay is kinda controversial. Fighting against enemies feels like a chore and fighting against bosses feels really tough and annoying. The graphics are only just PS2 graphics and the music is nothing special. The cast of characters are really good and interesting. And there’s voice acting. Story, really good. Gameplay, controversial and annoying. Graphics & music, nothing special. Characters, really good and interesting. There, it’s done! Well, the score is... 7.6 (7)!

Bowser’s Inside Story is a delightful RPG that’s definitely a must-play Nintendo DS title. This game is definitely the best Mario & Luigi game. (Doing this for you Alphadream, now defunct, R.I.P). Take one of the villains from Superstar Saga leading to this game’s plot. The plot is pretty great and Bowser as being one of the playable main characters is really surprising, no wonder I love this game. The gameplay definitely improved from Partners in Time, the giant boss battles were an immersive thrill. Although, few of the mini-Games were quite frustrating (that CARROT game). The visuals were really great, even for the giant boss battles. Lastly but not least, the outstanding music (composed by the legendary Yoko Shimomura, who composed Kingdom Hearts and others RPGs). Especially, the music for the final boss, it’s quite incredible and downright memorable! Right? Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story was a pleasurable and memorable experience for me. The humor, the gameplay, the music and lots of things that made this game very great (but still, few of the mini games were frustrating). This RPG is a must-play for Nintendo fans, Mario fans and maybe RPG fans. I’ll give this score a... 9.4! (10)

Help Wanted is that kind of game that sits in the back of your closet, in a box of old Wii games, collecting dust, being almost entirely forgotten. Until one faithful day, you decided to check your box of old Wii games and find this "Help Wanted: 50 Wacky Jobs". To remind you, this game is made by Hudson Soft, the now-defunct company that brought you the Mario Party games (from 1 to 8) and Bomberman. P.S: I've only played this whole game once. The story and presentation are quite wacky and quirky, which is good. The job system is where you play minigames, which are jobs, and they're pretty fun but a few minigames are either downright bad or frustrating. I really like this type of art style, it reminds me of some cartoony anime or so I remember. The music is slightly memorable if it's really good. This game has random wacky events that keep you from being either somewhat happy or sad. This feels like one of the typical Wii games that are actually (maybe) really good. This game is fun, quirky and maybe even addicting, if you want to play the game's story until the very end. There's a couple of flaws in the game, but the game is good regardless. The score for this is... 7.6! (8)

I waited for this great comedic indie game to come out and... I’m kinda surprised on how short the game is, including with the post-game. Well, it’s temporarily comedic and fun. For twenty dollars! Gameplay: 8/10 “You annoy people, honk and solve puzzles... It’s great!” Graphics/Visuals: 9/10 “It fits very well for an indie game.” Music: 7/10 “I feel like there’s less than six pieces of music in the games. But it’s suspenseful and highly passable. Puzzle-Solving: 9/10 “You’re having fun solving puzzles by annoying people. Sadly, the results are temporarily funny until you finish/complete the game.” I bought this game when it was released (and also on discount for fifteen dollars). Untitled Goose Game would’ve been better if it weren’t for the lack of content. It took me less than ten hours to 100% complete Untitled Goose Game. But this game is quite great and funny. Honk! The score is... 8.6 [8]

This is one of the greatest Mario Kart games and playing this game on the go is such a treat. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe offers a lot of race tracks, different types of cars and a variety of characters, battle mode comes with 5 modes with 8 tracks and they are a lot of fun! The game looks great with really good frame rate and really great graphics. This game is great with friends and family! Although I prefer Mario Kart Wii or Double Dash, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe does give you a lot of content and will keep you hooked on for a long time. This game is really great, but it doesn't convince me to give it a ten. So, it deserves a 8.7! [9]
