I'm sorry but who wrote the characters?! Where is Aloy the little girl we adored and were proud of to see growing up and earning her place? Who is this arrogant, self-centered, such an unlikable girl? And don't lie to yourself. You wanted to include your modern ideology in this game even stronger than the first one. There is no doubt in it. And I am fine with that. I believe the world need more advocation of such setup. I am a feminist and even joined some activities myself. But there were so many countless ways to present strong, independent women if you wanted to deliver that message but did it have to be "Warrior and physically beating men, strong"? Was that all you could think of? By nerfing and making so many meaningful male characters either just plain evil and stupid morons? I consciously chose a male character to see how it goes instead of a female characrer in one of the quests where required my decision and of course, Aloy has to brag about how idiot and selfish he is while if I chose female, all things are redeemed and understood. Really?... Is this the best you could do? This is literally an insult to every intelligent and actually strong woman in this world ever existed in the history. You wanted to advocate. And horribly failed so. The solution seems very clear: Change whoever approved this direction, switch the direction in the 3rd series, learn a lesson. Such a great voice actings, beautiful world, concept wasted into unthoughtful direction.
