The absolute best Resident Evil game to date. Capcom has done a brilliant job, and I’m excited to see what they do next. 10/10.

An extremely big disappointment. Tape 1 was slow, uninteresting, and awkward. One could argue that it was just a build-up to Tape 2, but Tape 2 was a disaster. Much shorter than Tape 1, less interactivity—basically just cutscenes. You don’t get answers to the most important questions. I’ll never buy a game from Dontnod again. A complete waste of time and money.

Total disaster. Part 1 was bad, but I had a small hope that Part 2 would redeem it. It didn’t. I can’t understand who approved this. You don’t even get answers to the biggest questions—100% a waste of time. Those responsible for this project should be ashamed.

I had higher expectations for the game. As many have said here, it takes an incredibly long time before anything happens. It’s basically a walking simulator, the dialogues are extremely awkward, and the characters are uninteresting. Towards the end, things finally start to happen, only to conclude with a cliffhanger that I found incredibly uninteresting compared to what they could have done. If I had to pay extra to play part 2, I wouldn’t have bothered buying it. I can’t understand who wrote this—it feels like it was made for people with no friends. I LOVED the first Life is Strange. This is nothing compared to that.

The worst game in the series so far, and I’ve played them all. I didn’t have huge expectations since it’s an interactive game from Supermassive, but I still expected something similar to their previous games. It’s short, the story is bad, you barely make any choices, almost no quick-time events, and no meaningful decisions. I regret buying this game at full price.

Incredibly disappointing game and by far the worst in the series. It had great potential in the early chapters and plenty of opportunities to do cool things with the new powers. The nice graphics mean nothing for the game when the story (arguably the most important aspect of games like this) spirals completely out of control and loses all meaning in the last two chapters. It's clear that the company either ran out of money or wanted to cut costs, because this game doesn't even come close to the first one. I regret buying this game at full price—total waste of money.
