Literally every other movie in this franchise was inspiring or great in some way. Not this one. Where di all the heart and soul packed into the first two movies go?

Are there problems with this movie? oh a bunch, it is obviously a cashgrab, the choices for actors do not fit well with the originals, all the songs are terrible and the whole principle just doesn't make sense, with that being said, I am still giving this movie a 5 because it is just unbelievably happy and joyous. It is not possible to leave this movie without a smile on your face. I'd say this movies great if you have a son or daughter that likes willy wonka and are prepared to just turn your brain off for a little bit. (the OG is still way better though)

Not as funny as the show, but still a well-animated nice foray into the spongebob world with a good ost, likable characters, and absolutely breathtaking ending sequence

A great (although slightly unrealistic) tale of a man who has been through war, loss, disability, and heartbreak coming to terms with his life.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but marvel has made the once in a blue moon occurrence of making a good post-endgame movie. Not only that, but it might just be the best marvel movie. Pre or post endgame! It has the same good witty humor as most marvel movies, but that is not why you are watching this movie, you are watching it because of rocket. Where do I begin? well, I won't say much more in case you haven't seen the movie yet. What is the saddest part of all though is that this will probably be the last good marvel movie. Let us hope they go back to the old ways.

The BEST dreamworks movie! It is funny, emotional, mature, animated well, and full of so much heart. Normally I don't complain about review scores, but can someone explain to me how this masterpiece only has a 7/10?!?!?!?

Quite possibly the funniest animated movie ever made (I have yet to see the spongebob movie but that would probably top it) does it have an intriguing plot, complex characters, or anything special or noteworthy, no of course not! But this movie is genuinely absolutely hilarious. Recommended for anyone who even slightly likes batman.

The BEST spider-man movie. Into the spider-verse and no way home are both good, but neither can compare to the magnificence that is the first one. Willem Dafoe is easily the highlight with an incredible portrayal of the green goblin.

A movie that exists (again) I went into this with extremely high hopes judging by the incredible animation. Unfortunately I was disappointed. 2023 has genuinely been the worst year for animated movies, with the only good one (that I've seen so far) being the mario movie. considering we had Puss in boots 2, bad guys, and sonic 2 last year. Let's hope wish will be just as good as I hope it will be. Positives of the movie include: decent soundtrack, definitely the best looking animation I've seen this year, and bothering to try something new instead of making a sequel to a movie that did not need one (spiderverse 2) or remaking an old movie that was already good (little mermaid). Watch it if it seems of interest to you. I am definitely in the minority here. TLDR: lame movie with good animation and cheesy ending.

great music. ok story. I have never seen the broadway version but I do want to

editing my review to say I gave this movie another shot and actually really liked it this time! I do mostly agree with everything I said about the voice acting and the lumas, but honestly, the charm that comes with the mario world is just infectious! I have left the original review here if you wish to read it. The original: this movie was kinda meh tbh bowser was an absolute riot but the rest of the movie wasn't that funny. especially not the suicidal luma. who thought of that? also the constant pop songs are very annoying. they had chris pratt play mario in this movie which is ....fine... I guess. but then they actually DO put charles martinet in as a side character as if to say "hey! we know you want him voicing mario but we're not going to do that!" jack black and charlie day did do incredible jobs. princess peaches' voice actor was fine. overral, a movie that exists. I hope this does mean nintendo will do a full cinematic universe now, cause that would be awesome

this movie is great! the humor was well written (except for the goats). the story was heartbreaking. and it is probably my favorite thor movie. however, there are a few problems. the goats are baaaaaaaaad. and jane's catchphrase was super cringey. but otherwise, great movie. I almost cried
