I like my SpongeBob a little less lumbering, a little more free-associational, without that big, heavy anchor of a story structure to weigh him down.

It's a fine movie, SpongeBob fans will like it enough but even then they will feel at times underwhelmed.

I am a big fan of SpongeBob but I'm very disappointed. The film is way too **** story is way too predictable... and the voice acting is way too cheesy. The TV series is way better than the movie..........

I don't get the hype around this trash, maybe nostalgia, but for me its awful, most overrated movie to exist
