What an amazing journey! "The Irishman," directed by Martin Scorsese, is a masterwork of narrative, with Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino adding their grey hair and heat to this epic crime drama. It takes 3.5 hours, but believe me, it's well worth the effort. Just don't try to keep up with the amount of cigarettes smoked or the number of bodies found. Five stars, ten out of ten; I would watch it again, maybe with a sleep in between."
