An embarrassing, tedious demake to 2 already great games. I mean what more can I say when fans are outraged over "no career mode" for THPS4, very few returning song tracks, a shameless amount of marketing and a soulless take on a remake. The new goals are lackluster as they can get. Some of them are impossible including the first level on THPS4, College, where you have to skitch on a car for more than 15 seconds. I can barely go for more than 5, which there are no stats to increase for. Other goals that require you to fetch for items take a painstakingly ample amount of time to find. What made the originals fun for its time were the passion given to it during a time when online play was introduced, demos for the publisher's other games were included and none of the missions were impossible to complete. I get frustrated just over the fact at how much faster your skater pushes forward and crashes into things. Doesn't seem to hold up any fun factor just off of that alone. This feels like they copied exactly what Vicarious Visions did for THPS1+2 and slapped their own color palette on this one. As of yesterday, one of the Taco Bell weekly redemption codes doesn't seem to be working for the majority of redeemers, as myself, on a reddit megathread.

Awful controls, unstable gameplay, poor menu navigation. Overall terrible on the Nintendo Switch. Doesn't seem like they put enough time in game testing before it was released considering all the goals I try to complete over and over again, meanwhile the original versions never had this issue. Why re-release/remake these levels several times? Cash grab much? I haven't experienced anything more boring and repetitive while gaming when I'm playing this game. I think I said enough already, I'm not gonna waste more time on this review. I've already put in hundreds of hours for the first two games, but what about the other predecessors that had many great reviews and scores as well. Are we just gonna toss those ideas in the trash? That would make them more money if they just re-release 3-7 (American Wasteland) from the franchise.

Absolutely appalled to see how terrible this game was. Gameplay is nothing like the games prior in the series. A disgrace to the franchise as a whole. The soundtrack is awful. Nearly impossible to get through some missions. I can go on for an entire day to explain how a $40 game can bring a person's hopes down a **** ton. I can't even play the game without turning off my internet connection on the console, let alone no multiplayer support anymore. There's not even split screen...SPLIT SCREEN! A feature so easy to add in. It's almost like they farted in a room, all stayed in there to baskin in the ambience, decimate on the game disc, held a B-rating skateboarding video game ritual and then called it a day. Humiliating.
