Bayonetta8
Feb 19, 2018
So. Much. Fun. I'm really enjoying Bayonetta. I've never played it before, but it's worth the low entry price. It's quite hard in places, and I die a lot, But that's not really annoying. Combos and witch time are fun when you pull them off, and the graphics are decent if not amazing. Fighting massive enemies with zero slow down is a blast! Recommended.

Minecraft9

It's Minecraft. On the Switch. If you like Minecraft, you'll like this. I used to play the pocket edition, but every time my phone got reset, I lost all my work. Now I have the switch version, no need to worry any more.

FIFA 187
Feb 4, 2018
Looks fine, no frame rate problems, lots of fun to play. EA have pretty much abandoned it, though. No video capture, no way to play with your friends on-line (which many other games can manage, so blame EA not Nintendo for that). So, I can't be happy about EA. I'll not buy Fifa 19 if it's released for Switch, because you can't trust EA, but I'm happy enough with this.

Splatoon 210
Feb 4, 2018
I've played this for over 110 hours, more than BotW, and I just wanna play more. Can'T get enough of Splatoon 2. Completed the single player game, but the on-line multi-player is the real fun part. We're always getting new weapons, new levels, new gear, Splat fest every month, And Salmon run is a joy to play, too. If I could only play 1 game on Switch, I'd choose Splatoon 2. It really is just a huge amount of fun, and I've more than got my money's worth. Highly recommended.

Resident Evil: Revelations8
Feb 4, 2018
Brought it digitally for 2,500 yen (down from 3000 yen with a 500 yen discount for connecting my Paypal account to the Nintendo eshop). Just completed the story mode today, after about 25 hours of play, not including all the hours I've put into the raid mode. It's lots of fun. Deffo worth what I paid. Ship setting is spooky, graphics are decent enough, some of the vehicle mini games are fun. Story is rubbish, and puzzles are more annoying than difficult, but for the price overall I'd recommend it. I grew up with Resident Evil 2, and it reminded me of that, which is a good thing. Raid mode is good, but the later levels are too long and involve puzzles and mazes/swimming, which is annoying because I just want to run around shouting stuff. But it's something I'll probably keep coming back to. I'd give it 7.5 out of 10, so I'll round that up to 8.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild9

It's just amazing. Fantastic fun. I currently fighting my first big boss, it's stunning. And beautiful to look at, too. Never played any Zelda games before, or any open world games, really. But I can't recommend this highly enough. I'll deffo play it again once I've completed it. I also have Fast RMX and shovel knight on my Switch, but I've hardly played them....

Fast RMX4

Bought it, but I can't really get into it. Doesn't seem to be much of a skill element, more learning the courses to stop just bouncing off walls. I wanted a Wipeout type experience, but this isn't it.

Namco Museum7

Too expensive, but I only bought it as I wanted to play Rolling Thunder and Splatter house. Which are still fantastic. Unless you really like some of these games, I'd recommend waiting until it's on sale.

Such a fun little game for such a small amount of money, I can't imagine why you wouldn't buy it. It's pretty easy and short, but has some replay value with 3 characters. Don't regret this purchase at all.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe9
Apr 28, 2017
It's Mario Kart. It's very very fun to play, as always. For the money, it's well worth it to have the best version of Mario Kart ever made. My one complaint? All courses are unlocked from the start, where as I am used to having to complete each championship to unlock the next. Feels a bit un-natural to be able to race any course from the start. You still unlock Karts and parts, but it's not quite the same..... Still, excellent game and well worth the money.
