Well mad max was a surprise. I had seen gameplays back at the time but since it was ps4 exclusive I played it only recently. I knew it would be old by our nowadays standart but it didn't even bothered me despite being a huge graphic aficionado. Story was great, your choom is such a great jerk and mate to be with and the overall experience was really enjoyable. Combat and especially all the car mechanics are tons of fun and quite creativ. I highly recommand you to take this ride even years after the release
I was really hyped by this game, the theme if great and maybe my expectations were a bit high. Yeah it's still a great game and story with unique mechanics but some real downsides too. I dropped halfway after spending more than 30min in the same unique bossfight due to the lack of any UI or feedbacks allowing me to figure out what to do. Puzzles are quite boring after the firstf few ones and well combat is really cinemetic but not that enjoyable after playing the good games out there. Music is great tho, probably a good game for casuals and story driven players
This game was a great ride from the begining to the end ! The characters are great, the gameplay and gamefeel is awesome. You feel like kratos running his power through your fights. Story is awesome and having your boy with you makes it even better, you discovers kratos more human than even, it's well written. Not much to say tbh concernings the downsides, I hate puzzles and I even enjoyed that aspect in this game .. what can I say. The AD and graphics are great too ! + Valkyries are dope, felt some souls moment I enjoyed quite a lot back there
Well well first try on the doom serie and I must say it didn't went so good. Yeah david gordon is out there in the clouds and the musics are dope but the other aspects tho .. I dropped after a few hours, I didn't enjoyed at all the gameplay. Coming from fast games like apex I got disapointed pretty fast with doom. Yes it goes fast but you'd better like glory kills and constant interruptions during your gameplay because otherwise you're as screwed as me. More than cutting off your gameflow it's a boring unskilled mechanic to my opinion. Got also disappointed by the AD, it sticks to it's origins yeah but the consequence is that I felt it was oldschool af in term of design environement and creature wise, disapointed. Sorry Doom I come too late for you glory.
A beautifull follow up to the souls serie for sure. With dope features allowing a larger audience to access the game and taking some space from the gatekeeping experience from the former games. Despite providing the original experience for experienced player or fans of the franchise, just dont use the bells or companions and you'll experience the toughest fight ever encountered in the fromsoft serie. Story has a bit too many similiraties with the souls story tbh but they're plenty new characters and aspect to forget about it. Nice weapon and spell arsenal, the journey is really enjoyable and challenging.
The story options and ending are really a plus allowing you to pick really different paths towars your end. That being said the openworld novelty brings more downs than ups to me. Yeah it's fine, sometimes even great but it lost definitly the mastery it used to have with the souls and the narrow LD and scenes. The dongeons are a mess, truly boring after the first 10 ones. And the ennemies being used all overs the place, sometimes even as boss is really something that took me off. Still a fantastic game tho
A really nice indie game to play with your buds. Really enjoyed this game for a while, definitly a great experience discovering all the features and mission (and yeah doing **** in your spaceship, drinking and dancing with the dwarf all night long, yeah good stuff).
It gets a bit repetitiv after a while but the theme is dope, worth your time if you're in squad.
Lacks a bit of balancing but if you take the game for what it's a fun roguelike to play with your friends it's really a great journey. Had a good chunk of fun crabbing around, vibing on the music and exploring the differents builds and weapon.
Played it years after it's release, dropped after a few hours. It was my first attempt at the ubi franchise, motivated by the IP past glory. Yeah idk not worth my time, controls, story, didn't catch me.
My favorite game among all. Yes not for everyone, you've to enjoy challenging game and have the mental to get beaten up harder than ever but the feels man. If u can make it through this game will change you and the way you aproach games. Aside from the gameplay, hopefully this game will speek as deeply to your soul as it did to me. If you're into dark universe and poetic grim, enigmatic and gore stuff as I am, this masterpeace is made for you. I connect with the art of this game on a unique level. Level design is crazy, cinematics are over the roof, story well .. what u figure of the story is deep af. Cameras are not perfect, controls may feel a bit rough at the begining. But hey you were here for the challenge in the first place ? (the two dlcs are even better, like beyond words, play it)
It has been some time now since the complicated release of this game. Yes be ready to have a rocket of a PC to run this game as well as it deserves to be run, but man it's worth the bargain. I loved the game since it's release, yeah the mechanics are not the greatest when it comes to driving or even combat some times but it's good enough, and really great sometimes. The story, characters and the visual make up for it 300%. Be ready to go for a ride with this game because it's a hell of nice one. I said it around 4 years ago and say it again, I'll be long before we see that much details and such a fine and well crafted video game universe in term of graphics and art.
I was not sure at first if I wanted to play this game, mostly because I was concerned about the DA and mechanics coming from DnD a rpg that is a to my opinion a bit old school fantasy with has been visuals and mechanics that don't work so well anymore. But ho boy I was wrong on this one. Finally decided to give it a shot after seeing how well it was recieved by the community. Worth it all the way ! Here I am 214 hours later after two runs advising you lads to play it. Do not fear the turn base mode or DA or Rpg's usual failures, I promise you that you'll get grasp by this game as many of us did. Gameplay is working, even better than in DnD to me, it might be scary a bit looking up at the game with all those spells and stuff but since the journey is longue u get along with it very easily. RPG aspect, characters, stories, char dev, choices possibility of this game are top notch 11/10, to be honest I've not seen so much life given to video game characters and story ever. Every single one companion is well written, deep, evolves and procure a unique experience boarding with during your playthrough. We shall wait long before this game is outclassed in it's gendra. Graphics are nice, some cool scenes and huge level art work definitly a great achievement on this side. Bug free (yes it's still achievable apparently). Many endings, as great as the rest of the game choices, the game even offers you a truly alternativ story with the dark urge origin, what a banger. Two downside tho. The first one is the explanation of the mechanism and game systems. I you've no experience with DnD or Pathfinder actions, spells slots, states many thing will be challenging to really understand. The game lacks tutorial for newcomers to the franchise. You'll manage no biggy but you won't fully enjoy and understand. Second aspect is the loot gestion and tools when it comes to sort it out and deal with this mountain of items, spells, clothes .. and so on. Be ready to spend time managing your bags if you're a loot goblin as much as I'am. Overall one of my best experience in gaming, loved it, it's a must do.
Mixed feelings about this DLC to be honest. Yes main story is fine, definitly has great moments, but it's not the best either. The characters are not so deep nor well written, they barely evolve during the events and what ever choice you make you end with a bitter taste on your tongue. I'll remain spoilerfree but the alternativ ends offered with the dlc all **** tbh. Yeah we got it cyberpunk world edgrunner is grim and dark yeah but comon those are really sad ones. Not to mention one that is straight horrible. Aside from the main story there's not that much to do, a few gigs, some **** point A to B car missions, at least the new zone looks cool and there's nice spots in terms of level art. One of the two story axe end up with legit horror game mission. Thank you but I hard pass, not what I came for in cyberpunk and I don't like horror games so yeah not pleasant. So now comes the worst part, bugs .. I was one of the few defending the game at it's release cause I u had a great PC it was fine. Yeah there was bugs but nothing too major aside from one small gig everything was doable and fine for the most part. Well phantom liberty is a different story, the new area isn't optimized at all, huge bugs, hardlocks (2 success included still not fixed weeks after the release). Legit falled through the ground a couple occasion, bad stuff. Good reason to come back to the game, but pricy for what it offers and far far from the the witcher DLC in term of quality as much as content or length. Still love this game truly amazing artists behind it, just hoped CDRp had been a bit more up to it's standart for this one.
This game totally deserves a 10, gameplay as well as the storyline, voice acting, roguelike aspect and depth is truly well done and wisely created. I recommand you to play this one it's truly one of the best game I've played and damned such a fun road (even after hours and hours !)
