Fantastic game, even better than the original which surprised me. Anyone who was a fan of CK1 should love it. There are a few nitpicky things which I don't like; you get excommunicated all the time via some no-name count which is ridiculous, assassinations are too easy to do and happen way too frequently, HRE is stupidly powerful if you start from the beginning, etc. However, these issues aren't gamebreaking by any means, and the rest of the game is so fantastic that I'm not too bothered by them.

Really fun game with an absolutely enthralling story. Combat is fun most of the time, and the game has a good flow to it. The big thing I didn't like was the "moral choice" aspect of the little sisters. It lost all emotion after the second one or so, since it was just the same thing repeated over and over. The reward differences weren't really that big of a deal, and I didn't feel like it was a very rewarding choice system. It also wasn't as long as I might have liked. But the environments are fantastic, graphics are great, and the whole atmosphere of the game is very enjoyable. Definitely worth playing.

It certainly isn't a brand new concept, but I don't know why so many people expect it to be. It's a football game. The rules of football do not change from year to year, there's only so much you can change about the gameplay. If you have a recent copy of Madden and don't care about roster updates, then don't buy it, pretty simple. However, if you do care about updates or haven't gotten one in a while, it's definitely worth picking up for a football fan. I think they improved franchise mode a bit, which is my favourite part. The main issues I have are that online is buggy at times, and they seem to have made passing to hard in relation to the ease of running. Aside from that the graphics are great, gameplay is fun, and it is a decent game.

There are a lot of great things about this game, but there are a few big things holding it back. The graphics are gorgeous, and their new facial technology is pretty impressive. The story is pretty well done overall, and you can definitely put some time into the game. However, I thought a lot of the cases were too easy, while others turned out to be someone way out of left field. It was not very satisfying to solve a case with one real suspect, and annoying to get it wrong for insignificant seeming little details. The controls are pretty clunky on the ground, which makes any shooting parts not particularly enjoyable. Overall it's a fun game with a good story, but I think it could have been executed a lot better.

I thought it was pretty well done, but I'm surprised with all of the tens it's getting. I found the story to be pretty short, although there was a lot of content added through the tower. Graphics are really nicely done, and there's a lot of depth in the fighting mechanics. However, a lot of it is overly cheesy, some characters are extremely bad to the point of never using, and their online system does not work very well at all. It's a fun game that's well executed, but I don't think it was anywhere near perfect.

Pretty fun game overall, I enjoyed it for the time it took me. However, it was fairly short, I beat it in just over a weekend. The maps felt very small and constricted, not much more than linear corridors with a sneaky linear corridor or two around as well. The talent trees were kind of strange; some of the hacker talents were literally useless. By the end of the game I had almost every skill, not much of a tradeoff in specializing to be had, you basically become invincible as long as you pick up all the skill points. All of that being said, it was still a very enjoyable game. I thought the story was pretty good, and that there were a lot of interesting choices to be had. I really liked the dialogue system, it was extremely dynamic and rewarding. And while the game might not have lasted 60 hours, it was certainly fun while it did. Definitely worth playing through.

One of the best games I've played, and it has stood the test of time. In terms of amount of gameplay, only newer Elder Scrolls games can even compete. Shivering Isles was probably the best DLC released for any game ever, and added tons of hours to a game with already limitless playtime. The combat is fun, the story is huge, and it can keep you busy indefinitely.

Easily one of the biggest games ever made, and also one of the best. For an open world RPG, Skyrim does exactly what it is supposed to do. The world is unrivalled, in terms of size and scenery. The game is absolutely gorgeous, I'm always wandering around just looking at things because they're so well done. It's also gigantic because at around 80 hours in I still haven't been to a few of the major towns or really started the main story. Tons of lore, history, and depth to the story and world. The gameplay is fast paced and fun, although it does get a bit easy once you max all your crafting skills. The only real problem is that as usual Bethesda released it fairly buggy, but I honestly think that's too be expected with a game of the magnitude and they're consistently fixing the bugs. I've only had one serious problem and it was fixed in the last patch. Not much else to say about it, I think I'll probably end up with a few hundred hours played over the next few years depending on the DLC, which is something which no other game will come close to rivalling, Oblivion excluded :P

I had no idea what to expect when I first got this game, other than that my friend told me it was about running a shop. That didn't exactly sell it high, but it was in a pack for $5 so I went for it. Much to my surprise, it was one of the most addicting games I've played. Quite literally I could not put it down, even after I had beaten it. Somehow it manages to get you caught up in the story with great dialogue and well executed gameplay. The only thing I didn't like was the dungeon feature, which seemed out of place in the game and wasn't up to the standard of everything else around it. However, it is entirely optional and easy to ignore with no consequences for doing so, so it isn't a problem at all. Fantastic game overall.

Fairly obviously the best RTS out there at the moment, especially in a competitive context. Campaign is good as to be expected from blizz, gameplay is fun and polished. The only knock would be for their constant failure to balance the game in a reasonable time frame.

I bought this game on a whim for $2 during a sale, knowing nothing about it or the franchise. It was one of the best surprises in all of my time gaming. I would happily have paid retail for this game if I'd even known about it before I bought it. It's an extremely deep game, there are tons of ways to play it, tons of items, tons of units, and a very big campaign to go along with it all. You'll spend a lot of time playing this game. It's fairly difficult depending on how you choose to play, but if you're up for the challenge it is a must play for any fan of the genre. It is one of the best games I've played in a long time.

I think it's a fairly enjoyable game when playing with friends. It's quite reminiscent of an arcade shooter, but it's executed well and has some interesting RPG elements to it. Some of the quests are fun and interesting, some are boring, repetitive quests that you would expect. I don't really like the loot system, the online lobby system is absolutely terrible, there are a lot of bugs, and it gets awfully repetitive at times. But at the end of the day it's a fun game to play when you have time to get your friends together.

I was really excited for this game, it seemed to combine a ton of elements I liked in an awesome concept. Bought it the first day on hype alone and was quite disappointed. It's not a terrible game, it's just not very good. It gets extraordinarily repetitive awfully quickly, and there's really no depth at all to the game. There's not much more to say about it than that. It's a short game which wasn't executed very well, which is a shame because I thought it had a ton of potential.

It was a pretty fun game for a while, I very much enjoyed the first ~10 hours or so into the game. Playing with friends for a while was a ton of fun, everything flowed pretty well, and it was a unique twist on the tower defence genre. My big problem with it is how repetitive and grindy it became after the first while of fun. Once you've played through everything a few times with a few characters, you're just grinding levels for more loot to do more of the same levels to get even more loot etc... It really **** the fun out of it for me. The other big problem I had was the fact you needed to play on their servers, which crashed multiple times. Which meant you lost everything you had going, which was extremely frustrating if you were doing something hard and/or got something good. It was definitely fun for a while, and was worth picking up for a few bucks on a steam sale, but it just isn't fun once you've done it all a few times.

Cons: Skill trees are somewhat wonky, kind of small and restrict the choices in a strange way if you're playing a hybrid class. Camera zoom is awfully strange sometimes. However ,those are the only two real problems I have with this game so far in the many, many hours I've played in the past week. Pros: Some of the most fun combat I've ever played in an RPG; it flows extremely well, and has a ton of depth. My big gripe with a lot of other games is how clunky and/or boring the combat is. KoA has none of these problems and the combat alone would make it worth playing. However, almost everything else about it is also excellent. The writing is very well done. I'm finding myself quite wrapped up in the universe and on a lot of the main quest lines. There's a lot to it and it's fairly complex, but if you spend time talking to the important NPCs there's a ton to get out of it. The loot system is very well done, everything feels very unique and crafting is quite satisfying. I actually like the graphics even though some people seem to have a problem with them. They certainly aren't realistic, but I think they go well with the type of game it is. The environments and enemies all look great so long as you're not looking for gritty realism. Overall, this game has very few flaws, and they're minor ones at that. It's very unique in the genre, and I highly recommend that everyone play it.
