Marsmist

Anyone who loves the sweet old blowing stuff up will adore this game. I know I do. And it rewards you for doing exactly that. Sure, the story can sometimes be corny or cliche, but its suppose to be, as it is trying to represent a 1980s action movie. There is also a crazy amount of stuff to do, and a lot of it. I will take you FOREVER to 100% this game with all the places to blow up and the collectibles. There are also a ton of creative side missions (faction missions) to complete. Although the opening scene when you first start one gets rather boring. This is a perfect example **** that encourages you to do your own thing instead of the game doing it for you. I do have a few gripes, however. Like for example, the checkpoint system is not very good. Also the camera can get in the way sometimes. But these are all minor gripes to a otherwise awesome game.
