Kinduo10
Jan 23, 2022
Fantastic CO-OP Puzzle game!! Kinduo is just great. Its a simply game where you can either play solo or local co-op and tackle this puzzle game with a mate. You play as two characters who's main goal is to get to the door and exit to the next stage. One character is heavy and I think made of rock and the other is light and is made of electricity. The rock character can activate buttons and push locks where the other can dash across larger gaps, jump higher and also activate lifts with his power. As mentioned, the game is very simple with pixel art visuals and nice background soundtrack. It features 30 stages that are.....well simply to medium but nice and fun. Once you finish all 30 you will unlock a bonus secret stage which is called stage 99. Overall I really enjoyed this little game, it should set you back about 1 hour + of gameplay and a lot of fun!

Kansei: The Second Turn9
Jan 16, 2022
Fantastic Murder Mystery Game Kansei The Second Turn is the continuation from the previous game, Jisei The First Case. Both games are fantastic and I would recommend playing Jisel first before you tackle this one. You play as young man who has the ability to read dead bodies minds and find out their last thoughts before they died. This time tho, you are teaming up with three other gifted teenagers to each have a different ability and together its up to you to solve the murder. Kansei features beautiful voice over text, so you really only have to read the main characters text and thought throughout the game which adds a very nice touch over other visual novel games. It also feature a delightful background soundtrack and some really nice visual art. I would highly recommend this game if your not too sure on visual novel games and want to start off with someone on the lighter side of reading but on the other hand if your really into these types of games, then this isa must play too!! Highly recommend!!!

Gardener's Path8
Dec 23, 2021
Do you like Gardening? Not everyone is into Gardening around the home, some love it some dont. What we all should agree on tho is that Gardener's Path is a fun and good game. Using its pixel art visuals and relaxing soundtrack, you find yourself in a world of gardens, fighting off bugs and other insects that set to take over. The game features 60 odd levels of puzzles ranging from easy to some harder then others. Creative level designs that make you feel your playing a old skool zelda game with is top down sight and turn based controls to set it apart. You can either take your time with the puzzles but you can also go fast which makes for some serious puzzle mind bending! Overall is a great fun little game that would set you back approx 2 hours of game play. Highly recommend this one even of your not into gardening!

Forgotten Hill Disillusion9
Dec 20, 2021
A creepy puzzle game Forgotten Hill Disillusion is the 4th game in the series. I haven't played the first three games and just started playing this one today on my XSX and really enjoyed it. This first person puzzle solving with its grotesque atmosphere had me hooked from start to finished. The games visuals are great and its background creepy soundtrack really ticks all the right areas. It also has a creepy spider like shadow moving across the background of the game just to add to it all. Its a a easy game to play and the movement has really come across nicely from PC keyboard and mouse to its now new home on the the console controller. I didn't haven difficulty controlling anything in this game, yes it may take a little longer to do things compared to pc counterpart but not that much to turn you away. The game itself starts you off as the character Mr Larson where you purchase a ticket to enter the Forgotten Hill Museum & Library. Dont worry the ticket only cost you one dollar and luckier you already have this amount on you. Upon entering, you will notice this door is now locked behind you leaving you stuck inside. Your mission now is to unravel the puzzles of this fantastic game. Overall if your into puzzle games and love a little bit of horror, then Forgotten Hills Disillusion is a game for you! Fantastic game!

A YEAR OF SPRINGS7
Dec 14, 2021
Spring Time Already? This lovely, relaxing Visual Novel game is fun to play, that's if your into visual novel games to begin with. It centres on three girls with three different chapters you could call them in the game. The main character is a Transgender by the name of Huru. You can kinda experience the life and choices you get to make as a Transgirl. Feel how it is to not really fit in when visiting the Hot Baths on the first chapter gameplay. The game has multiplay endings and choices to be made correctly to unlock the other two chapters in the game. It has fun visual art and a nice relaxing soundtrack. The text is easy to read and can be controlled like all visual novel games with auto and reverse commands. Overall the game is very interested for people who are looking for a game like this. I myself enjoyed it and I am neither really into visual novel games or a Transgender. Nice little game!

Wings of Wor7
Nov 22, 2021
Gynoug AKA Wings of Wor Gynoug is a classical arcade style shooting game that went by the name Wings of Wor on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis back in 1991. Its a fun side scrolling shooting game with added Magic and some modernised features like infinity lives, god mode etc The game features sub bosses and final level bosses through out the game. Lots of different enemies flying and shooting across the screen which can at times get a little messy with the action that you will have no idea where to go without taking damage. To be honest, I played this game with God mode on. Which means I never died or took damaged and it too me approx 48min to complete from start to finish. Without using the cheats, it would take a lot longer to finish. Yes there are health and power ups through out the levels to obtain. The game features a nice little soundtrack that I had to turn down as it kinda got on my nerves a tad. The visuals are what you expect from a classic slide scrolling shooter. Even tho I played this game on the PS5, I found the dualsence controller to be very very responsive to the movement of this game, nice and fast is what you need to move around and avoid the damage. I would trade that tho to play this game the way its meant to be which I believe would be perfect on a Arcade setup stick and buttons layout! If you enjoy these types of games, then I would recommend picking Wings of Wor now known as Gynoug up!

The Prince of Landis10
Nov 22, 2021
Great Little Gem The Prince of Landis is a great little gem ****. It has very good story line with the dialog of a visual novel. It also offers exploration, problem solving puzzles of an adventure game. Before we get more into it, the game offers two dialog version at the very start. One is the original and one is the, lets say censored version. The original dialog contains homophobic slur so if your not really into this type of stuff or find it offensive, then it would be best to play the censored dialog version. Saying that, the censored version still contains swearing etc. You play as a small town boy in the town of Landis whois always getting bullied and needs to find a way to stick up for himself. One day he finds a crashed space craft with, yes you guessed it, an Alien! From here you will be given objectives from the Alien to complete. I dont want to get too much into the story as it might spiller it but overall is a brilliant plot ands story driven game. Its a tad too short but sometimes it good to play a short game and enjoy it without it dragging on and becoming a chore. The game has a wonderful little soundtrack and nice classic visuals that you would find it retro style point and click adventure games. I highly recommend playing The Prince of Landis!

SHINRAI: Broken Beyond Despair8
Oct 31, 2021
Halloween Murder Mystery Shinrai Broken Beyond Despair is your typical Japanese visual novel game set on Halloween night. A group of 10 school friends gather in a mountain hotel to celebrate Halloween until one of the dies and its up to you to find out who did it. The game is approx 8 or so hours long with over 150,000 words, its a long visual novel game but does add the element of pick and choose which breaks things up over time. The game has great visual art and a nice background soundtrack but does tend to have some annoying sounds throughout the game like the damn insects (crickets) when you are outdoors. If you are into soft Hentai then this also may appeal to yourself as it does have a very small level of it without the nudity tho. Thank god as the characters in this game are only 14-15 years old!! I kinda found it a little disturbing at times but looked past it and found I really enjoyed the theme of this visual novel. If your into Visual novel games then I would highly recommend this one! Trick A Treat!

Reminiscence in the Night10
Oct 27, 2021
Amazing Short game! Reminiscence In The Night is a short visual novel game with elements of a point and click adventure. You play as a character that has no name so the game lets you input your own making for a better experience in my books. Your character has somehow lost his / her memory and is locked inside his / her apartment with only your belongings to help you discover your memory once again. You will get help from your laptop friend, Sofia. The game features great art style visuals with one amazing soundtrack that really gets going towards the end, it gave me goosebumps! As I said its a short game but does have multiply endings so replaying this game would help uncover the story more. I would highly recommend this game if your into these types of games or if want to dive in for the first time without getting the full visual novel reading experience. Can you remember?

Bouncy Bullets 29
Oct 12, 2021
SOOOOO MUCH COLOUR!!!! What a wonderful game this is! If you take the worlds from Super Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog and combined them to make a first person shooter then you will end up with Bouncy Bullets 2. There are 45 levels to shoot, dodge and jump you way through until you reach that portal, then onto the next level. Sounds easy? well yes, at times it can be but you have enemies shooting at you, lasers to dodge, fire to avoid and so on. The whole idea of this game is to get to the portal to you can progress onto the next level but you can shoot the enemies to get there by either shooting them or bouncing your bullets off the wall and hitting them. This adds a nice touch to the game and sometimes makes things a bit easier when you have multiple enemies to kill. The game is not just about shooting, some of the levels are designed like a maze, so you will need to find your way to that hidden portal before progressing on. The game is a accompanied by a very nice touching sounds track with those very colour bright visuals, its really hard not to like this game. The controls of the game is where its lets it down and I would have given this a 10 but I found them to fall a little short but it shouldn't stop you from playing this one! Amazing little game with sooo much colour! Brighten up your day with this one!!!

Takorita Meets Fries6
Oct 4, 2021
Anyone fancy some Fries? Takorita Meets Fries is a Visual Novel game where the main character, Princess Takorita travels to the land to discover different food then she is use to living under the see in her Kingdom. Its a fun looking game with friendly looking characters and some humour in the dialog which is also a nice touch. I did find some of the dialog to be a little out off place where some words dont make sense, maybe this is just a quick Japanese to English conversion without doing its correctly. Saying that tho, the game us fun and if your into visual novel games with a touch of adventure, then Takorita Meets Fries might fill your belly between games. The art work is fun looking with some popping colour but I did find the soundtrack to be a tad annoying so I had to lower the volume on this one. The game offers multiply endings which for some will provide some value here but to be honest I couldn't play this game more than once. While I enjoyed the fun side of it, this visual novel really didn't do it for me. Not all food taste great....

Don't Touch this Button!10
Sep 27, 2021
Just Touch It! What a fantastic puzzle game! Don't Touch This Button! is set in a First Person world inside rooms that evolve pressing a button to escape it. Yes, you need to press the button to escape each level and move onto the next. There are 65 levels in total with each ranging from easy to some not so. You will need to figure out how to press each levels button either by working out a puzzle or just finding the hidden button. Most of the time, if not all of the time you do the opposite to what each rooms hint is. For example, if the hint is "Don's stay still" then you are going to stay still. The game looks great and has a nice charming soundtrack to back up the gameplay. The controls are easy to use and very basic which makes this game very enjoyable overall. To me, when playing this game it reminded me over the Cube movies, which on its own is fantastic! If your in the mood for some puzzling fun, then I would highly recommend this game. But remember, touching the button is the only option!

Dojoran8
Sep 20, 2021
Its Frogtastic!!! Dojoran is a Ninja Frog, yes that's right, a ninja frog! The game is set out in a 1-bit 2D style black and white platform where you play as a Ninja Frog. Your goal is to get from the start of each level all the way through to the big Frog statue. You will encounter Birds, Slugs, Fire Balls, Spikes etc all the way through to a Indiana style big rock rolling areas. Being a frog you can jump and grip not the side of the walls. You can also collect things along your way which will help complete the level. You can get a Apple which will provide you with a double jump, a Fly which will give you a life incase you get hit along the way etc The controls are kinda unforgiving and can cause some frustrating at times. The game is very retro style with a great little soundtrack to back it up. The game features 28 not soo easy levels so it should keep you entertained for awhile. Overall its a great game to have some fun with! Hop on it!

LoveChoice6
Sep 13, 2021
Cute little game LoveChoice is a relationship visual novel game where you try obtain different endings. The game has three different paths but you will need to get two different endings to unlock the second and third. Its a short and yet quick game but I did enjoy it. Be prepared to play through it a few times to unlock the different endings. It can be tricky at times if your going for all the endings. The are also some mini games in between too. The first path sees you play as a boy that's into video games and he meets a girl and so on. You will need to guide him with different options to choose from to make sure your girl doesnt leave you at the end. The second path you are playing as a boy once again. This time around you meet a girl that's from the city and is into music. Your goal here is to try and keep her from moving back to the city with her parents. The last path and this is my favourite one. You play as a wife who thinks her husband is cheating on her. This is were the point and click aspect of the game comes into play. You will need to look around the house trying to figure out what her husband is up to. Overall its a fun little game that has a very smoothing soundtrack and some nice art style visuals. The game itself is short but if your going to try get all the endings then it might set you back a couple of hours. If your looking for a game that has some relationship goals and you enjoy the reading of a visual novel, then check this one out.

Virtuous Western9
Sep 6, 2021
Im Ya Huckleberry! Virtuous Western is a small indie pixel art puzzle cowboy game set in the old western. Your character has had his steed stolen by a bunch of yellow belly no good varmints. Your job is to get your horse back by taking out everyone. Each level consists of a number of bad guys. Once you have taken all of them out, you will then progress to the next level. Levels have different way to tackle this from shooting, blowing up TNT, having the bad guys shoot each other and so on. There is an element of Puzzle to this one so think before you start each stage as you only have a total of 3 bullets that you can hold at once but sometimes the level will only give you 1 to 2 bullets to take out 3 to 4 bad guys. Its quite a easy game and the bad guys only face and shoot in one direction so shooting in the back is not a cowards way out in this game. The old western style soundtrack is great, the pixel art visuals are great and overall this is a great game! I loved this game and would have given it a 10/10 but it fell short in one area and that its the length of the game. It only contains 30 levels in total with a Boss fight at the end. Once you have completed it, there is a Stop watch speed run challenged you can take part in. Great gun slinging action!

One-Eyed Lee and the Dinner Party10
Aug 30, 2021
Fantastic Game! If you love a bit of Visual Novel games, love puzzles, love a good story and throw in some point and click then your gonna love One-Eyed Lee and the Dinner Party. First up the dialog on this game is amazing. Its not for kids and it contains a lot of swearing but I really felt it added to the game. I was going to play this game for a hour or so but I couldn't stop until I did a complete playthrough which went for a smidge over 3 hours. The game has multiply ending so it has some good replay value there and its just a great game to play. You play as the characters Beracus and Lee. Who stumble upon a Bunker and to their surprise, contains a family of living skeletons. If that wasn't a problem on its own there is one in, they are now stuck in this bunker and must find a way out. That is the aim of the game, finding your way to freedom. While doing this you will encounter stories from the family and unlock the truth of what is going on down here. The game features fantastic artwork and soundtrack that will keep you playing for ages. I really recommend this game for anyone who is interested in these types of games. Its a must play!

Orbibot8
Aug 23, 2021
Fun Puzzle game! Orbibot is a fun yet challenging puzzle game. You control a Robot ball that you must get from the starting position of the level to the telaport device that will then take you to the next level. Sounds easy? well its not, controller the robot ball takes it times to get use toastier falling off the edge is very easy. There is also get use to moving the camera around so you can see what your doing and what way you are going. This all takes a bit of time to get use to but once mastered the game really opens up into what isa fun yet frustrating experience. There are other balls to push along with cylinders and blocks that will help you get to the Teleport, you just need to figure out where to put them or what to do with them. The visuals are nice in this 3D world and the soundtrack is good after you turn it down a notch. There are little side quests in this game too, like collecting the plastic cats that are hidden around the level. Some times you will need to jump of the edge to get one but luckily there are checkpoints throughout the levels so there is no need to restart it all over again. Yet it was a frustrating and nervous gaming experience but I really did enjoy this game. There and not that many levels in total but trust me, you will still spend a decent amount of time on this game! Gravity is on your side!

Barry the Bunny7
Aug 15, 2021
Such a cute game! Barry The Bunny is a classic 8 Bit style 2D platform game where you play as, yep you guessed it, Barry The Bunny. Barry must complete each level over 4 worlds saving his lost and stuck bunny friends. Throughout the levels there are 3 pieces of wood that you can collect and once all 2 have been obtained you can then rescue your bunny friend by building a bridge so that he or she can cross and get home. As I said above, that you can collect, yes you dont have to collect the pieces of wood and save your friends, you can just jump and run through the level and move onto the next one. Barry has the ability to chuck hammers or tomahawks which I like to refer them as, kinda brings back memory of the first Wonderboy game. The game has a normal and easy mode that you can choose from and a delightful little soundtrack that you would expect from a game like this. Is overall a easy game but there are some parts that might make you get a little frustrated at times. I found that it was kinda difficult to control Barry's jumping and landing and sometimes getting too close to spikes when you think your safe can be a pain too. I also encounter a couple of glitches in the game where Barry would be climbing a ladder and then get stuck i at the top side the wall area. This was resolved by just restarting the game and lucky there is the auto save after each level! The good thing about this game apart from it being just damn right old skool, when you collect the pieces of wood and then die inside that level, when you restart it, the pieces of wood that you have collected are with you so there is no need to recollect them again...hooray!!! Overall I had a good time with Barry The Bunny and I would recommend it for anyone looking for some old skool 8bit style fun! Bounce on!!!

Bone Marrow7
Aug 8, 2021
A Game with Role-Playing Board Logic Puzzles that's inspired by the classic game - 2048 Bone Marrow is a game type that I have never played before and thought I never would. When I first started playing it, I had no idea at all what I was doing or what I was meant to do! I didn't bother googling it or anything, I just started to worked it out and then once I did, I was hooked! Its nothing to look at or listen to but the Board style puzzles which allows you to get swords and shields to battle your opponent are great. You can create better and stronger weapons, shields and potions which will increase your attack and defence. I found myself destroying enemies with ease but I did make the occasional wrong move with would help my enemy get greater health etc. If you have ever played the game 2048, then you will love None Marrow. Even tho this game is different, it has its own little charm about it which makes it great! There are four maps in total to play on with unlock able characters bringing that to three. You start of with being able to play as Agvid or Bernard. There is also a 2 player option as well. Overall if your into these types of game then you will have a blast. If you have never tried one before like myself, then I would recommend starting off with Bone Marrow and see how you go!

Apple Slash7
Aug 3, 2021
Monochrome with a Slash of RED!!! Apple Slash is a great, fun indie title by Ratalaika Games and Agelvik. You play as might Apple Knight that uses a mighty slashing sword to kill the creatures lurking in the marshlands. Yes this game is set in a black and white visual scene with the colour Red slashing around which really adds to the games visuals. You set off on a quest to banish the creatures from the Marshlands but you will encounter side quests through out this short yet fun journey. Using you sword, you can slash the creatures with ease but that's not all, throughout the game, your sword can be upgraded and combined with different technics in rotating blades, boomerang style sword and so on. As mention, the game is very short, I finished it in under 1 hour but didn't fully do all the missions. I would say if you were to sit down and 100% it it still wouldn't take you very long. The game leaves itself open for a sequel with is touching as I would really like to play more of this game. Overall, yes its very short but it has some nice on screen crazy action and the visuals nice in a different way. I would recommend picking this game up and fingers crossed we will see more of the Apple knight in the near future! Slash on!

Freddy Spaghetti 27
Jul 25, 2021
Freddy's Back!!! Thats right ladies and gentleman. Your beloved spaghetti stand is back with Freddy Spaghetti 2 or how Freddy likes to be called - 2.0 When I first play the first game of Freddy Spaghetti I was overwhelmed with happiness and thought it was an absolutely fantastic game. Very unique and challenging in some areas. Freddy 2 has these same aspects but on a smaller level compared to the first game. The story of this game is - Freddy has a Job. Thats right, Freddy is in the workforce and all your levels revolve around the office. There are only 40 levels this time but it still has plenty of fun going levels from The Floor is Lava, Foosball and Pong. Unfortunately this is where the fun levels end and there are plenty of story bases levels in this game compared to the first. The levels kinda fall short in some like swimming in the aquarium or the water cooler level. Both these levels just involve moving Freddy for a period of time, there is no challenge at all. Some other levels which I mention above are more story driven levels that involve just moving Freddy from part a to part b of the screen. Freddy Spaghetti 2 felt like it took me half as long as it did to finish compared to the first. Its shorter by 10 levels in total but overall the first game was much more challenging in lots more ways. Saying that tho, if you loved the first game then you will still love Freddy 2! The game still has its fantastic fun happy visuals and storyline. If you are looking at playing these games for the first time, I would highly recommend playing the first game in there series first up and then moving on to this one to get the full experience of Freddy! Spag Bol anyone? YES PLEASE!!!!

Bai Qu: Hundreds of Melodies8
Jul 12, 2021
Very nice Visual Novel Bai Qu Hundreds of Melodies is a very nice, sad yet warm visual novel game. It was not what I expected when I sat down to play it. Was expecting this one to be boring but from the very start it brought me in and held me there. The story is about Li Jiayun, a young girl that has passed on and the story is told through the eyes of Wei Qiuwu who accidentally encounters her on a Hospital visit to his father. I am not going to tell you all about the story as I do believe this is game you need play for yourself. The game has a great background soundtracks that do not over complicate or take you away from what your reading. The text is perfect and the visual art images are great. Overall if you are into these types of game or wanting to try one for the very first time, then I would highly recommend Bai Qu Hundreds of Melodies! Beautiful game!!!

Super Destronaut DX-27
Jul 5, 2021
80's game with a Modern touch.... Are you ready to go back in time with this classic Space Invaders type game? Then if you are and your wanting a modern touch to it, look no further then Super Destronaut DX-2! Super Destronaut DX-2 plays and feels like a timeless classic in the shoes of Space Invaders and Galaga. Aliens appear from the top of the screen sand you move your space ship around and shoot them. The Modern touch tho allows you to move all around the screen with screen shacking explosions, bullets, lasers going everywhere. The game features an Arcade mode and that's what it is but the best part of the game is the Challengers. There are 30 challenges to conquer, some vary from Timer, Limited Bullets through to kill them all. Don't forget , the Aliens can shoot back and they do so in a big way, with Lasers through to heat seeking rockets that will chase you around the screen. Aliens also can die and become falling ghost like aliens that act as shields for the surviving aliens. It can get quite busy on the screen, with lasers and explosions going everywhere its sometimes hard to see what's come at you or sometimes behind you! Some challengers are harder then others and even some had me repeating them until I started to pull my hair out. Overall its a fun game that really needs to be played with an Arcade stick and button setup as I felt the controllers just don't do it justice. Fun classic style game that will bring back some memories

Loopindex8
Jun 29, 2021
Great 2 Player Puzzle Game! Loopindex is a Indie Puzzle game with over 70 Levels of Fun! As my title says, its a 2 player co-op game which is limited to local aka couch co-op only and does not have any online mode which would have given this game a 10! Saying that the game can also be played solo perfectly fine and that's the way I did my play through of it. Yes it would be a lot easier and funner playing with 2 players but over the 3 plus hours I spent on this game I didn't really have any issues playing it solo, that was until I got to the final boss level which then halving 2 players would have made things a lot easier. The game itself is great. You play as two robots that are inside a virtual world called "Loopindex" The idea of the game is tow get both Robots onto the Elevator so you can journey to the next level and so on. What stands in your way are tricky puzzles that involve timing, spikes, shooting bullet things and many more. None of the puzzles are over the top and I did find most if not all easy. Its just planning ahead, taking your time when you can and making sure you keep your eyes on both Robots otherwise when one dies, the both do and you need to restart the level over again. Throughout the levels you will encounter friends in Frogs and Mice. Both of these will help you pass the levels by setting of a switch or sitting on a pressure point switch. The layout of the game is top-down perspective which helps you plan ahead. The visuals are indie pixel retro style and the game also has a present soundtrack with nothing over the top. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for some puzzling fun and the 2 player couch co-op! Saying that tho I did have a great time playing solo! Some Robo Fun!

Cross the Moon8
Jun 20, 2021
Vampires!!!! Cross The Moon is a dark and adult level visual novel which resides around Vampires that live among regular humans. You may have seen some movies like this where Vampires exist and live life free with government provided blood capsules etc. The game is set in the fictional city L’Amour and country of Armorica where you play as three characters - Lux Amantie and his sister Aurore and the third being a female Japanese detective Ryouko Otsuki. The three characters have their own story which is seamless intervened between them all for the main plot of the game which is a Murder story. The visual style of this game is dark and seedy with monochromatic cartoon style drawings of the characters which are overlaid over realistic backgrounds. The soundtrack of the game can be a little over the top and I had to turn it down in some cases as it started to drive me nuts. I haven't played a visual novel game as dark as this before, most of the ones that I have played have either been relationship ones through to comic book style ones with mini games etc. It was a nice change to play one like this, there is a lot of reading however with over 100,000 words which would leave this game running for 6-10 hours. After the first hour of so, I started to get hooked and it felt like we were going deeper and deeper into the story. Overall if your into these types of game then this one is a must! Great story!

Sun Wukong VS Robot8
Jun 13, 2021
Metroidvania Style combined with Monkey Magic! Sun Wukong Vs Robot has a strange title but it is a nice challenging game. You play as the character Sun Wukong aka The Monkey King or what I like to call him - Monkey Magic! When I was playing it, all I could think about was the good old TV Show Monkey Magic. The game is a old skool classic pixel game set out in a dark mechanical maze of a dungeon with no way of telling you which way to go or what to do next. Do you have a Map? yes you do, but it doesn't really tell you much apart from what section you are in and where you have been. You must run, jump and fight you way through until you find one of the four challenging Boss fights. You will unlock new powers across your adventure which will help fight against the mechanical robots etc. Some areas are harder then others but like I said, not really knowing what way to go until you get there doesn't let you avoid this. The enemies are crazy from Robots to Bats throwing ninja stars through to the frustrating Boss fights. Overall is a short game but offers the challenge like I have mention above. I did find it fun and slightly addictive throughout my time playing it. Would I recommend this game? Well the answer to that is yes, as long as you enjoy these sorts of games. The Monkey King lives on!

Donuts'n'Justice8
Jun 6, 2021
WHAT A GAME!!! This is the type of retro game I love! Donuts 'N' Justice is a 2D arcade shooting game you where you can either play as two different characters in Mike Riggs or Nick Gordon. You fight to keep the streets safe against all types of gangs. While there is only four levels with a boss fight on each. You will encounter all different types of bad guys to shoot, from normal street gangs, China Town Ninjas through to Alien boss fights. The game is fast and enemies will be coming at you from both sides. You can collect Donuts that enemies drop to refill your health and also pickup Armour, different guns all the way through to slowdown. It took for approx 40 odd minutes to finish the game and I found the final boss fight to be the easiest out of them all. There are 3 different difficulties from **** to Normal and then the hardest being Nuck Chorris aka CHUCK NORRIS BABY! You can visit the games shop any time to spend you hard earned enemies killing money that you have collected along your killing spears. Here you can buy different headgear that will give you certain things in the game for example - Wearing the Batman mask makes a little Bat spawn out of your head and shoot with you or The Santa Claus hat will unlock an achievement when worn. There is also a Boss Rush mode where you have to fight all the 5 Bosses one after the other with only one health bar, sounds hard well depending on what difficulty your playing with, it can be. The game also has two play local co-op which is great. Over all this game is fantastic! I love it!!! I would have given this a 10 out of 10 but the only reason I didn't was because its too short. If it had another 4 levels or so then it would have been perfect. Saying that, I still highly recommend this game. LOVE IT!

A Little Lily Princess8
May 31, 2021
Lovely little Visual Novel A Little Lily Princess is based on the beloved turn-of-the-century novel where you play as the character Sara Crewe. The visual novel aspect is about developing relationships with the secondary characters that you will meet among the game. Sara, a quiet, imaginative, and kind young lady raised in India but is sent away to England for schooling and misses he Papa so dearly. You get to fix your weekly routine by either selecting - reading a book, dance, tea party and so on. The game itself has multiply endings , six in total. The visual novel art in this game is fantastic. It has really beautiful art, with well-drawn backgrounds and character portraits that work together really well. The soundtrack is nice and calming, what you would expect in a visual novel game like this one. I enjoyed playing this game, even tho I was trying to pronounce some French language which I am guessing I was horrible at. If you are into visual novel games or the Sara Crewe novels, then I would suggest picking this game up! A splendid good time!

Gutwhale9
May 24, 2021
What a pain in the GUT! Gutwhale is a rougelike game where you are in the belly of, yes you guess it, a WHALE! You start of at the lobby where you can decided what hat out of the three you will wear on your first journey - Workers hat, Cool Hat and Ugly Hat. Don't worry what one you choose as you will be dying loads of times in the game and you can always go back and change things up. There are also other hats to unlock through out the game which will provide unique differences. For example, you will encounter a frog through out the levels, you need to shoot 50 bullets into this baby to get the Frog hat. This is going to take you some time but once done the Frog hat will turn all t he enemies into cute lovely they wanna kill you frogs. There are three areas in the game and the final challenge mode can be played forever. Now is the game hard? well the answer to that question **** No only do you have multiply enemies trying to kill you left right centre...everywhere! You only have a very and i mean very limited number of bullets. When I said limited, well I meant one, yes you read right, one bullet. So the aim of the game is to shoot who ever is trying to kill you and then go pickup your bullet that is now laying on the ground. Throughout the levels you can get more bullets but I only managed to end up with three at a time and when there are moving enemies coming are a incredible speed, well yer it makes things very interesting. You also don't get very many hearts aka lives. I found most of the time I had two but in some cases I only started with one. You can earn more hearts like you do with bullets throughout the levels. Oh did I mention, when you die the game loves to rub that in by dropping a van on you! As I mention above, the game is rougelike so every time you die and start over the levels will change up with ads to the replay value. The soundtrack to this game is great and adds to the games experience. The game itself is fast and addictive. I found myself dying and dying but I just wanted to keep playing. It really is a frustrating yet fantastic game and I would highly recommend it!

Rabisco+9
May 17, 2021
Relaxing Game Rabisco+ is a nice little relaxing game with an amazing soundtrack. You control the character Ms. Rabisco who needs to collect the missing stars that have been scatted throughout the 100 levels and bring them back to the moon. You will encounter evil crayons, laser beams, sharp red spike and so on throughout your star hunting journey. Each level consists of ten levels per colour world and then once finished you move on to the new colour world. The goal to each is to collect the stars and take them to the moon. Sounds simply? Well yes and now. They game is not overly hard but it does put up a little fight from time to time where you will also need to collect keys to unlock sections, staying in the moving object to protect yourself and so on. The game itself is displayed on some paper with hand-drawn lines, it really is cleaver and amazing. I played it for just over one hour and got to level 50. There is great replay value here with a speed run mode too. Overall its a great little game and if your looking for something to play in-between games or just want a nice relaxing game, then Rabisco+ might just be for you!

Infestor9
May 9, 2021
Fun little game! Infestor is a fun little puzzle pixelated indie game. You play as a green blob of an alien that can control humans to do its dirty work for it. The aim of each level is to get to the exit and by doing this you will need to control different humans that can do different things to achieve this goal. Some can jump higher than others, some can push creates, others can fly, open security doors and some can shoot. Each level has puzzle them to it but overall its not that hard **** but very enjoyable. It contains 70 levels but the last level is level 73 so I am guessing the game doesnt count the 3 first levels are there are more of a learning curve to get you going, It took me approx 1 hour and half to finish and by the time it was done, I had very sore Gaming thumbs. Overall I would recommend this game!

Angels with Scaly Wings8
May 3, 2021
Dragon World awaits! Angels with Scaly Wings is a Visual Novel that involves a lot of reading. This may put some people off that are not into these games but I can tell you what, the story is great! You play as your own Character, yes you get name your character and throughout the game, your character will be referred to as that. The story is about a the discovery of a mysterious portal, that leads us to a new world. Yes this is just like Stargate! This new world is almost the same as own Earth, it has everything we have from Villagers, Towns, Shops and so on but there is one difference, one big Scaly difference! Rather then having Humans roaming the streets, delivering food and so on, its Dragons that take our place in this World. Your character has been selected as an ambassador to journey through this mysterious Stargate portal to learn and exchange the Trade deal that has been established buyout colleague. But not all is what it seems... With 13 different endings and over 175,000 words in total, this is not your quick read visual novel game. Angels with Scaly Wings provides hours and hours of gameplay with lots of reading and mini games throughout. With great replay value, different routes and endings, this game is one for there Fans!

Trails and Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew10
Apr 28, 2021
Short but GREAT! Trails and Traces - The Tomb of Thomas Tew is a classic style point and click adventure game that involves puzzles, adventure and a great storyline. You play as the character Detective James Labbett who is specialises in missing person cases but when James takes his latest case he didn't expect it to lead into something much bigger/ The visuals of this game a throwback and the audio is great! The entire game can be played with voice over if you choose, so there is not needing to read anything as its all spoken out aloud which I found that to be a nice touch. The game itself is not difficult and its a short one but saying that if you really enjoy these types of games, then I would highly recommend this one and I absolutely loved it. Must play!

Heal10
Apr 18, 2021
Simply fantastic!!! Heal Console edition is from the same makes who brought you the Distraint series and both of those games where great! Heal does not disappoint at all. You play as a elderly gentleman who is suffering from dementia. The game does not require much skill in the way of controlling your character but it does rely heavily on puzzles. You start each level with the elderly gentleman moving back and forth across the screen until you come across something that will highlight above. This is were the Puzzles start. Some are easy and you will be thinking, there's nothing to this until you get to the harder ones. The game does offer a slight hint if you want to call it that in the way of something getting highlighted or a dark shadow walking across the screen. The visual art does have its resemblance to the Distraint series with its artistic dark vibe which really stands out on this game. I really enjoyed every part of this game from start to finish. It consisted of 7 levels that all contain a fantastic soundtrack. The game took me approximately 3 hours to finish and once again, I really enjoyed this one! You must play this game!!!

Ravensword: Shadowlands7
Apr 11, 2021
Wield the Ravensword! Ravensword Shadowlands won't be every ones cup of tea but if your into games like Oblivion and Skyrim, then this is a game for you. Tho Ravensword Shadowlands is no where near as polished as the two games I mention nor would it have its budget, it does a good job of the story. The Rvensword has been lost and its up to you, a descendant of an ancient line of kings, to find the Ravensword and overturn the Dark times once and for all. You can play this game in first person or third person perspective with just a click of a button while in game which is a nice touch. I preferred to play in third person as I felt it looked better this was as in first person your character does not have a feel for movement well. As like other games, you can find different armour and weapons along with food etc by either buying these goods or killing your enemies and looting them. I found the Map to be a little tricky at times as it didn't quite seem to place me where I really was. There is also fast travel which is very handy. The game has a lot of different areas to explore, from Caves through to the ice caps. As I mention the game has a decent story but there are a number of bugs, glitches and so on. Some of these range from sound glitches through to enemies disappearing and appearing onto of each other. The AI is not the best, they basically just stand still and you can easily walk past them without getting spotted and this is without using the hide / sneak button. All these can be looked past tho and you can enjoy the game for what is it. The only real issue I had with the game and it became annoying was the background coming and going. The background would appear in decent and when you either turn left of right, it would disappear depending on what way you moved. Overall the visuals remind me of a XBOX original game that's been Enhanced but once again with the issues mention above. Ravensword Shadowlands is still a decent game to play if you can look past the issue like I did. I would still recommend it to anyone that's into these types of games, just remember tho, don't expect the same level and you will be fine! Restore the Ravensword!

C14 Dating8
Apr 6, 2021
Digging up some love C14 is a otome dating sim where you play as third-year anthropology student Melissa Flores who travels from her home state of California to take part in a summer archaeological internship in Belgium. At the start of the game you can have a couple of little options to decide on - Text style and mini games. You can play this Visual Novel game with mini games or without. I played with as it breaks up the reading and makes it more like a game for me but maybe I shouldn't have as I discovered when playing this game, I am no good what so ever with PixCross puzzles. You will have these when you are excavating at a prehistoric site. If you are good at them, it will be a breeze for you. The game has wonderful visual art and a nice background soundtrack. Like many of Winter Wolves visual novel games, the story line is great and keeps you involved throughout the game play. You can set you weekly agenda and so on. There are different characters to interact with and maybe develop a relationship? The choice is up to you. If you are into visual novel games then you can thank Ratalaika games once again for bringing a wonderful and lengthy game over to the console scene. A true visual novel game for all fans!

One Escape9
Mar 28, 2021
Escaping prisons has not been more fun! One Escape is a fantastic game. There are 60 levels in total which are separated into 20 levels per three characters - A duck by the name of Took, Ape that goes by Gor and a Warthog that's called Hog and reminds me of Bebop from the Ninja Turtles. Each charter has his own special ability when escaping the prisons. Well I kind lye as only Gor and Hog have one. Gor being a Ape can climb certain walls and Hog can smash through some. The goal to each level is to get to the escape elevator. The first few levels of each charter are very easy but over time the levels get hard and bigger. Most levels require collecting different colour keycards to open the some doors to progress further and don't forget to turn off those security cameras before they spot you! Getting spotted by a camera will alert the guards and in no time, you will have guards coming out of the doors trying to capture you. When this does happen, you can quickly hide in the shadows and wait for the timer located in the top left had screen under your characters picture to run out and the guards to leave. I spent just over three hours completing this game and it was a blast. I would have given it a 10 / 10 but the lack of no level number display made me drop it down to a 9. Great game!!!

Sumatra: Fate of Yandi10
Mar 22, 2021
WOW What a great game!!! If you want a classic point & click adventure game with a fantastic story like, then Sumatra Fate of Yandi is the game for you. Don't get turned off that its on console, the cursor moves just find and at two speeds as well using either one the left or right sticks. The visual are as what you expect them to be in a retro style indie point and click adventure which surely brought back great memories for myself. You play as Yandi a tree lobber in Indonesia that has been involved in a accident when the hill side he is working on subsided and gave way leaving poor yandi stranded in the jungle, lost with no form of communication. I spent a good five hours playing this and was fully involved the whole way through. Should you get this game? The answer to that question my dear old friend is - YES!!!

Pinkman+8
Mar 15, 2021
Nothing to look at but WOW!! Pinkman+ is a very old school looking game. Im talking about C64 & Atari days. But what it does offer is 100 levels of addictive puzzling fun! I had an absolute blast playing this game and couldn't put it down. Playing as Pinkman, you can use your Jetpack to get to higher places or even hover for a short period of time. Each level has the same goal which is to unlock the door to progress to the next level. But it isn't always that easy. You need to jump or fly past little switches to unlock these doors. You will have to move fast and cleaver to avoid the heat seeking rockets, ghosts that travel through walls and exploding bomb like things that are everywhere. Every time you die the level will change colour giving you something of a spice up in case you start pulling your hair out. Yes some levels are tricky but overall i spent approx 2 hours on this game and finished all 100 levels. In the end I would recommend this game!! Real men wear pink!

Dreaming Sarah10
Mar 3, 2021
Beautiful Game Dreaming Sarah has it all, from its nice calming soundtrack to its mind bending puzzles. You play as Sarah who is currently in a coma due to a car accident. You play throughout the dream world. The different worlds or dimension if you want to call them that are really beautifully designed and each one very different to the next. You will find yourself in worlds of Forrest, Desert, underwater and so on. You will be collecting different items throughout your journey like and umbrella which will give you the ability to glide. Sunglasses that will let you see invisible objects. A watch that will slow down time, these are just three of many that you will collect along with other items that will help you in the game. I played this game on the XBOX Series X and found it fantastic, its not too hard or is it easy. The game runs for approx two - three hours long and was really enjoyable throughout. I highly recommend this game!!!

Thunderflash10
Mar 2, 2021
FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!! Thunderflash is just fantastic, with its retro style visuals and gameplay it brings back the good old memories of gaming for me. This game reminds me on Rambo where you move across or up the screen shooting all the bad guys that come at you. You have a different array of weapons from machine guns to multi direction guns and rockets. The game gets better with every level too, one minute you will be in the sand shooting your way out and next in the water of a old style Chinese fishing village. You can drive boats, fly jetpacks and so on too. Each level has a boss battle which adds a nice touch and the good thing is, if you do die after spending your 10 credits you are given at the start, then you can just go to level select on the main menu and choose where you want to restart. The game itself is not very long, took me approx 2 hours to finish but does have great replay value with different endings and multiplayer co-op!! You can choose to play as two different characters in Rock or Stan. Who will you choose to take down the Bloody Wolf? Overall if you want to revisit your childhood or just want a good kick of nostalgic. Thundeflash is absolutely a blast!!! GET THIS GAME!!! 10/10

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust8
Feb 24, 2021
Very Dusty Game! Anodyne 2 is a great mix of retro 2D 16bit style and 32bit 3D style games. When I first started playing it, it took me back to the good old Playstation 1 days. You play as Nova who happens to be a Nano Cleaner who's job is to clean the Dust that has infected the islanders or New Theland. When you encounter a islander who is in need **** dust clean, you will play a little mini game in a quick time event which will involve pressing up, down, left and right in a random order before you transform into the 2D 16bit world. It is here where you will battle the dusts monsters and free the islander of the dust. The game is very enjoyable and has something for everyone, from transforming into a car to get around the area a lot quicker than running. You can also explorer the city by talking to the New Theland townsfolk to find out what to do next. You can even set up in the main menu how you would like to play the game. Setting invisibility so you don't die comes in handy if your not in the mood for a battle but just want to get the story of the game and so on. Overall, Anodyne 2 Return To Dust is a fantastic game that brings two gaming generations together with a decent story line. If you like to clean, then pick this one up and start sticking up all that DUST!

UltraGoodness 26
Feb 14, 2021
Fun yet hard.... Ultragoodness 2 is fun yet can be hard with soo much going on at the one time. You need to shoot your way through each level killing all enemies from devils, drunken rabbits to crazy mushrooms etc. The shoot can prove quite hard to master at first as you only shoot in one direction unless you move the aim stick around. You can drop bombs which I found can be great but at other times frustrating when they done work as you want them to. There its also a slow motion mode when you don't move your character, everything on screen goes super slow until you move again which can help you out of a tight squeeze when there is a lot of things happening at once. The one thing that is great is Armageddon mode, where you can shoot 3 missiles at enemies when you lock them in. This can prove very handy for harder enemies who shoot back and take a bit to kill. Throughout each level you not only have to compete against enemies aka monsters etc but also shooting fireballs from cannons and spinning things. I enjoyed the game but found the control scheme a little too difficult and messy for my liking but that been said, its still a fun game with all the splattered blood. A game to be played between games, give it a shot!

How to Take Off Your Mask Remastered7
Feb 8, 2021
Surprisingly Good! I was very surprised with this Visual Novel game. I wasn't expecting much after playing the fantastic Vera Blanc Ghost in the Castle Visual Novel beforehand but as I stated before, I was very pleased with this game. You play as a girl called Lilia but you can rename her with whatever name pops into your head at the beginning of the game. Lilia works in a Bakery with her Grandma and her very best friend Ronan. Lilia is always happy serving a looking after the customers that come in each day until one day Lilia discovers she is a Luccretia Girl. A Luccretia Girl is another name for cat Girl, yes that right, a cat girl. You must discover the truth behind this so called Luccretia Girl aka Behind the Mask. This is a nice cute Visual novel game with anime and manga art and also Japanese voice acting with English subtitles. I found it very easy to play and read over the game time which is around 3-4 hours in length. If your just getting into Visual Novel games or even an experienced players then this is surely a good pick up. A Meowing good time!

Vera Blanc: Ghost in the Castle10
Jan 30, 2021
Fantastic!!!! I thought Vera Blanc Full Moon was great but this next chapter in the Vera Blanc Visual Novel series just takes the cake! Once again you play as the beautiful busty Vera Blanc who is accompanied by Brandon. Together you must solve the mystery of the Ghost that is being seeing the a small village in central Italy. If you have played Full Moon you will know that Vera has the ability to read peoples minds. When you first start the game it gives you the option to play with or without mini games. I chose to play with mini games which for me, adds a level of game play to this comic style visual novel and breaks up all the reading etc. The mini games included - Spot the difference, Memory games and reading minds. I had a blast with the game and it is now my favourite visual novel game to date! If you love these types of games or want to try them out, its great for everyone! Highly recommend!!!!

Balancelot5
Jan 27, 2021
The hardest game I have ever played! Balancelot is a unique game with beautiful art design and a very frustrating learning curve. Your character must balance on a Unicycle from point A to point B with obstacles in the way from giant Snails, Rolling Loins to blocks and timber. You set out on your Unicycle with your trusty Lance that help you balance and also cause your a nightmare of a time. You have the ability to also jump which comes in handy when you need to get over a barrel or black or even the giant snails. These mythical monsters will kill you with a single touch use your lance to kill the first. The hardest and most frustrating part of this game is the balancing. I don't believe this game suits a controller is more of a motion control game for say the Nintendo Wii etc. I was using a XBOX Series X Controller and found it almost impossible to get past the first level, having died over 60 times I as almost at the quitting stages. Balancing back and forth while trying to move across the screen, up hills over obstacles is hard enough without throwing in the issue with hitting you head when jumping on a platform causing you death and having to restart from the start or last checkpoint. **** a unique game with great art that kinda reminds me of the Nintendo Yoshi games. But the sheer frustrating and now my number one hardest game I have every played title, I would have to say, this is not for everyone.

Loot Hero DX7
Jan 17, 2021
Nice little game Loot Hero DX is a easy game at first that slowly builds up its difficulty after each playthrough. You play as a Knight in this 8bit style CRT visual platform game. Basically its very easy to play, all you need to do is press the directional stick left or right and slay the knight will slay all the monsters etc by running into them. You will come across a number of buildings throughout each stage where you will be able to upgrade your Attack, Defence, Critical and Speed levels. The more enemies you kill and the more XP and Loot you collect the greater you Level will become and the more you will be able to upgrade. Each of the 9 levels has a Boss at the very end of its stage which if you upgraded well becomes very easy to defeat. If you do fall throughout the level or at the boss fight, you just need to revive by pressing the A button and then travel back throughout the stage building up your level and attributes. Overall its a very short game that adds good replay value. If your not good at playing with a controller then this game is for you!

Freddy Spaghetti9
Dec 20, 2020
An Amazing Unique Game!! Freddy Spaghetti!!!!! This game is amazing, very unique in the way that you play as a piece of Spaghetti that goes by the name of Freddy. Let there be known I played this game on the XBOX Series X and at the time of this review there was selection for the system for this review to be put under. You control Freddy with the Triggers on the control and the left directional stick. Freddy as the ability to walk if you controller him correctly by pressing the left and right trigger sticks one at a time in sequence. You can also hold either trigger for a bigger jump to reach higher places or to jump certain items. Freddy Spaghetti has 50 levels speared over four worlds - Home, City, Western and a Tron like world that called also be called Future I guess. Over the levels you will get to jump into a toilet, play soccer, play a game of Frogger where you have to cross the busy traffic without getting hit and so on. Most levels will require you to reach the portal like light or at least put something in that portal for you to move onto the next level. You start of as a small piece of Spaghetti and then during some of the middle levels you get bigger and start to cause havoc on the city just like a Godzilla movie. The visuals are great, the soundtrack is great this whole game is great! I would have given it a 10/10 but there was only one thing that stopped me and that was the amount of palm cramp I got when playing this game. It might not happen on all console controllers but during my two hour playful that got me a complete play through of all 50 levels, I suffered badly towards the ending levels and had to pause theme a few times just to complete the levels. Overall its amazing and very worth a play though over and over again trying to beat your best times! Freedy's Fantastic!!!

Kerr is on a mission too regain once again his Dragon form and you playing as Auralee are now guiding Kerr on his mission!. The visual art in this game is great, from still background shots through to animated cartoon like scenes to spice things up a little. Decent Beat'em Up! Paw Paw Paw is a side scrolling Beat'em up type of game with a touch of Role Playing and multiplayerr. You can choose to play as a number of characters from the resistance to smash and battle your way through the game to take down the King. I had flash backs of TMNT 1989 arcade game when playing this game, I don't really know why as Its different but has some of the same features such has a sign that pops down in the top right had corner saying Hurry Up when you need to move forward. Its fun playing single player but it really exceeds with multiplayer as you have someone to cover your back when the screen starts to fill up with enemies that what to take you down. Overall I had a good time playing this game and if you like your Beat'em Up style games but with dogs, cats or anything that has a Paw then Paw Paw Paw is for you! Pawtastic!
