I definitely feel like if you were to look at every single element of this game and compare it to other games, that the value of this game holds up tremendously even though it wears it’s inspirations on its sleeve. This has instantly moved into my top 20 favorite games of all time, and while there are no romance options, no morality system, and I wish I could interact more with NPC‘s, this game is intriguing and mysterious, and unique enough that if you’re willing to give it the time, I think the investment is worth it. I wish the story connected the quests a little bit more, but other than that holy **** **** you need to play this game. I love the systems in this game! Over time it adds new elements to stay fresh, but this game truly is a world with its own lore that you could get lost in.

Nickelodeon all star brawl 2 has everything the first game was missing right out of the gate! Cross-play, voice acting, items, single player campaign, enough alternate costumes so that you can play the same 4 characters against each other, the stages have been re done, and more importantly the combat has been re done from the ground up. No more cheap easy kills by throwing an enemy off the stage. They added a slime meter, and that to me gave the game such a good layer of depth that was needed, it can be the difference between you winning or losing a match. The real reason I play this game is because of the depth and replay ability. This game is easy to pick up and difficult to master, and the only reason I’m not giving it a 10 is because of 2 main issues. The single player campaign is a rogue lite, and while it’s definitely fun, some of the boss battles need to be balanced. The other main issue from what I’ve heard is that with matchmaking, the amount of time it takes to find an opponent can be annoying sometimes. I would like to point out that I personally have never had this problem, but that’s because I don’t frequently play online matches. The reason I keep this game installed and in my library is because in mortal kombat and other fighting games, you have a lot of button inputs for specific moves, and getting to learn other characters can feel like a chore, whereas in this game, it actually feels fun to pick up other characters and learn their special moves. I can’t stress this enough, if you’re looking for a game with depth, that’s easy to pick up and difficult to master, something you can play casually by yourself or with friends for couch co op, or even online, this is a game you need in your library.

This DLC was an overall weird experience... The new ability you get is pretty cool, but the story and missions revolved around it could be improved. It's definitely an entertaining new twist to the series... but remember, this is only part 1 out of 3. The DLC does not live up to its full potential yet.

This portion of DLC will leave you wondering why they didn't include this ability in the original game... For those who were disappointed in the ending, this is a chance to experience something new and fresh.
